About: I have always been in love with animals, and so from a young age I have always been the one to help a person babysit there fur babies if needed, and what better way to spend time making money, taking care of different amazing animals. It brings me pure joy!:) I am pretty flexible and could do it any day of the week, but I prefer not to do over nights unless you are gone for long periods of time. I always make sure that other peoples pets are comfortable with me, and have everything that they need, and more. One on one time with the animals are also important to me as the bond clicks faster. I will always make sure everyone’s animals are 100% being taken of with only the best care! And loved!!!!

About: Hi, I grew up around several different animals of all sizes from rodents/reptiles to livestock/dogs. I have always had at least one dog in my life at all times. The more the merrier. I love all animals big and small. I worked at a kennel where I learned about boarding and training dogs for about a year and I have pet sat for about 15 years in grand total. I currently work at a pet store in Sutter Creek. I love being around dogs and training or even just hanging out and playing. I am a outdoorsy person. I have experience with livestock animals also. Horses, cattle, chickens, Lhamas, mini animals, donkeys. I have references also if you would like them. I work part time so some days I am gone at work. But our 17 year old daughter is always home. We also go to church Sunday morning so we would be gone for a couple hours but otherwise we are always home. I care for pets in my home as I would my own. I have 3 German Shepherds. 10 months to 7 years old. As for in home pet sitting I would follow whatever routine you have set for your fur babies already so it would be easier on them.

“This was my first time using ROVER.and am completely satisfied!! We arrived at our hotel and learned that while it is pet friendly you can’t leave your animal unattended. We had planned two days of motorcycle riding and having him ride in front of me was not an option. In a panic I downloaded Rover from the App Store and found Michele!! The entire family was AMAZING!! In addition to growing up on the Vargas Cattle Ranch in Fremont, California, I have many years experience as a foster pet mom and respite pet caregiver. I have occasionally provided respite to animal rescue homes with up to 15 animals when the proprietors are out of state on vacation. I serve all of Amador County. Although I would consider other counties on a case by case basis. I am a retired Health Care Provider with many years of Special Needs Pet Sitting experience and prefer to stay busy on my 3 acres of fenced in property. My pets and the pets that I host enjoy joining me on morning and afternoon walks on trails and playing fetch. I keep a close eye on them when we are outside. Then we all snuggle up on the couch and dog beds after meals while we watch a fun movie together.

“Michelle was great with my dog Oakley! I was so thankful she was able to take him on short notice and accommodate whatever we needed... Her house is on a large property that's fully enclosed and in a beautiful gated community in the hills. Whether you have a big dog that loves to run around and interact with other friendly animals or a small dog that prefers to spend time inside close to people, Michelle's house is an awesome place for pets! My dog has major separation anxiety, but instead of stressing out like he normally does when he knows I'm leaving him, Oakley immediately settled in and started exploring the property with one of her dogs right after we got there! I could tell from Michelle's updates and photos that Oakley was really enjoying his time there and felt comfortable he would be well taken care of if he needed to stay even longer in the future. The location of her house turned out to be really convenient and close to where I was going, but even if I'm further away the next time I'm in town and need a sitter, I know that Michelle will be our first choice for sure!”

About: I’m the neighbors trusted ally when it comes to keeping everything safe. I can love on less than friendly animals with ease - and I’m known to triple check every gate and door I’ve touched. Your animals are safe with me. Old animas Grouchy animals Rescues Cats, dogs, pigs, rabbits, sheep, horses, donkeys, horses. I am currently working from home as I manage a construction project - a small cottage inclusive of a one acre pasture. I also have weeks where I am available in the Bay Area for daily check ins and walks as I frequent that area at times. In your home I’ll follow whatever instructions are left. At my home - I have a one acre pasture in the back of my home and a quarter acre of fenced yard in the front. In addition, I have a 30 ft Rv with a full size couch and bed for pets. There they can roam free or stay crated if that is your preference. I love animals so if you think your buddy needs me to stay in the rv with them over night, I can do that too. I typically keep clients pets separate from my own unless requested. I usually start the day by taking each pet out to run and play in the pasture for about an hour… and end it the same way. I started pet sitting after a friends pet was lost in a Brentwood boarding facilities fire. Realized I am a safer option as I am always present and don’t leave anyone alone for more than an hour or so.

They always send a Rover card documenting how the day went with photos and potty breaks. They even go above and beyond and give Bodhi mental enrichment with puzzles and healthy treats.
