“Krisanne & Gaston were so great!. We were hesitant to book through Rover again after having a poor experience with a different host. I booked again after luckily stumbling upon Krisanne (an acquaintance from when I was younger). I knew our dog Moose was in good hands as soon as we dropped him off. They sent me picture and updates every day of him playing and out on walks. I felt totally at ease this weekend and was completely confident that he was taken care of and in good hands. Moose came home happy and tired from a fun weekend playing. We will be back!”

“Conrad is so great with our little pupp! He’s getting comfortable with him and we love that. Communication is always prompt and even last minute requests have been ok with him. So great!”

“Shaun was absolutely amazing with my pugs. He allowed me and my pugs to do a meet and greet so they would be comfortable in a new environment. One of my babies is a diabetic so I was nervous about leaving him with anyone. My boy came back safe, cared for, healthy, and happy. He had friends to play with and my lazy little girl had a cuddle buddy. Thank you for caring for them so well Shaun. Will be booking again!”

“I love Linda! She takes great care of my sweet senior boy Simon. This is the 2nd time Simon has been in her care for overnight boarding and he does so well. You know when you pick up your dog from a sitter and you can tell how their experience was by their vibe/body language etc? Well Simon always seems relaxed and chill when I pick him up. He is comfortable in the secure care of Linda’s home. Linda takes personalized care of Simon and graciously follows my instructions for my boy to be most comfortable. Simon gets meds and has limited vision and hearing and Linda handles this like a pro. Totally recommend!”
“I loved having Jamie as our sitter. I had absolutely no worries knowing my dog was being loved and well cared for. Jamie was amazing with updates and pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind. When I picked my baby up, she looked so happy. I would definitely recommend Jamie to anyone looking for someone to care for their fur baby.”

“We love Cindy so much and feel so lucky that we were able to find her for our Charlie Bear. She is a fantastic and super communicator and provides us with daily updates about our furbaby and what he's up to throughout the day. I completely felt at ease after our initial visit to meet. She was professional, warm and fuzzy all in one! We're excited that we now have a go-to person for all our dogsitting needs.... we're just hesitant to leave this review because that means her bookings will increase and her availability will decrease! BOOK FAR IN ADVANCE! Thank you Cindy for giving us the peace of mind to really enjoy our time away knowing that part of our family is left in your care. THANK YOU THANK YOU!! And I am pretty sure that Charlie is missing you since coming back home. Looking forward to his next stay!!”

“Stacy was AMAZING!!! I can’t think of a better person to watch my dog. She even sent pictures updating me throughout his whole stay. My dog was so happy when I picked him up and so grateful to have found her.”

“Stacey and her family were so great with my dog! They made me feel comfortable from beginning to end. She sent lots of pictures and kept in contact the whole time. My dog loved being with them! I would definitely take him back to them when we travel again.”

“Amy is great! We have left our dog with her two times and she does a great job sending us pictures and updates. She even watched our dog within an hours notice- thanks again! We will definitely be using her in the future.”

“Very attentive to my boy Maximus. Sent me videos and pictures and I loved that he was walked everyday! I would definitely use her services again. Max was happy to have so much attention!”

“It was a good price for what we needed last minute for our pups—they were not as transparent as we are used too (i.e. we did not go inside their house to see where they’d be staying- my dog gets into food and overeats, so wanted to warn and also it’s hot in St. George so wanted to make sure they could stay inside. Communicated with wife and only saw husband, just awkward to know who we were talking to. Each picture of our dogs were outside in St. George triple digit heat, and we worried they didn’t get the water they needed) it felt confirmed when our dogs guzzled almost a gallon of water upon return and one threw up 3 times from too much water. They did respond promptly and were ready at drop off and return. And our dogs are okay! Simple transaction.”

“Aubree was great. Good communication along with pictures throughout the stay. My pup is a little reserved in particular situations however Aubree did great. I will definitely use Aubree again to take care of my pup.”

“Scot and his children are the best! I totally trust him with Gidgette. He has a loving home and environment and is always so accommodating, even at the last minute. ❤️”

“Dexter was so comfortable, it was like he was staying at a resort! He loved being the only dog in the house and was so well cared for. We will definitely bring him back next time we leave town!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Ivins
This was the second time we had Krisanne and Gaston pet sit Brody. The first time was just an overnight stay to see how he would do and he did fine. This time he stayed a week and when we first dropped him off he seemed excited. Later when he realized that we weren’t there I think he started to get anxious and nervous. He had some accidents but Krisanne and Gaston handled it nicely. They keep me updated that Brody was doing better and sent pictures of him playing and taking daily walks with their dog Kylo. I felt comfortable leaving Brody with Krisanne and Gaston and would highly recommend them.

- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
