“She and her family were so good to send picture updates everyday and give the love and attention our puppy needed. Nice clean home with plenty of room for the dog to play. I felt at ease with him there for 5 days. Highly recommend!”

“It was my first time using rover and I was gone for a week. I did dog boarding at Conrad’s place and I would absolutely recommend him! He sent me pictures and updates throughout and the communication was quick. Thank you again!”

“Holly and her family took great care of my nervous mini labradoodle. She sent updates and pictures of my pup each day. I could tell she was well loved. I am so glad I found Holly and will definitely use her again!”

“I love Linda! She takes great care of my sweet senior boy Simon. This is the 2nd time Simon has been in her care for overnight boarding and he does so well. You know when you pick up your dog from a sitter and you can tell how their experience was by their vibe/body language etc? Well Simon always seems relaxed and chill when I pick him up. He is comfortable in the secure care of Linda’s home. Linda takes personalized care of Simon and graciously follows my instructions for my boy to be most comfortable. Simon gets meds and has limited vision and hearing and Linda handles this like a pro. Totally recommend!”
“Stacy was very friendly and wanted to make sure our pup was comfortable before we left him for the weekend. We got lots of photos and our pup got lots of love and attention from Stacy. He even went on a special outing/walk. I would for sure book again with Stacy again.”

“Great first time experience!. Fluid communication, we recieved pictures/videos/updates every day. It seems Pancho had a great time. Very likely we will be a returning customer. Thanks!.”

“Lindsay was so great! We felt good leaving our pup with her and her girls. It was obvious he was loved and cared for while we were away. Will definitely rebook in the future.”

“Teisha and Keevin and their kids were so great with our dog. I would highly recommend! We really appreciate how patient and caring they were, as our dog has a lot of anxiety.”

“Our Johanna was so well cared for at Kelly’s house. We received regular updates and she had great communication with us. Johanna loved her time there and played so well with Shelby.”

“Sheila did such a great job watching my sweet puppy. She responded to my questions and requests in a timely manner and was so sweet and gentle with my dog. She also sent pictures and gave updates while I was gone. I will definitely call on Shiela again!”

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was a kid. I’m a dog groomer who owns 3 dogs. I always take good care of friends/neighbors dogs! I’m a part-time dog groomer at home, and I would love to use my spare time as a pet sitter. I love working with animals I think about their safety and feeling first so I always examine their behavior and personalities so it helps me when I walk and play with them.
“Scot did a great job with helping our older dog feel comfortable while we were away. We appreciate the clear, easy communication with Scot. We would highly recommend him.”
“It was my first time leaving my pup with someone over night. I was very nervous but I honestly could not have picked a better sitter. Mishell was incredible and sent me photos and updates every day. I 100% plan on booking with her in the future.”

About: Our family of six has a houseful of love, and a golden doodle named Brody who’s always excited to meet a new friend. Dogs are a big part of our daily life, and our kids have grown up learning how to be gentle, patient, and responsible around animals. Your dog will have access to our fully fenced, grassy backyard for playtime and potty breaks, plus plenty of attention and cuddles from our family. Someone is home most of the day (I work from home), so your pup won’t be left alone for long stretches. I’ll send regular photo and video updates so you can see how much fun your dog is having. Meet-and-greets with our dog are always welcome before booking, to make sure it’s a great fit. I work from home as a software engineer. I'm always here and have a dog of my own. I don't have a dog door so I let the dogs out as needed during the day. I'm married with 4 kids that love animals and enjoy playing with them. When the children get home they take our dog, and yours out for a walk every day. I have 1 people and pet friendly golden doodle (50 ish lbs). We have fenced backyard with lots of area to roam and grass too. Your dog can chill with me or my dog all day and go out as needed. My dog tends to just sleep most the day while waiting for the kids to get home.

About: As a dog mama myself, I understand what it means to leave your pup in someone else's hands. I treat every dog like family — with the same patience, attention, and love I give my own. We go on lots of walks (there's a trail right next to my house) and have tons of play time and cuddle time. I work from home, so am able to give your pup the attention s/he needs and deserves. I go on frequent walks with my own pup and have a dog door so the pups can go in and out as they need. There is a trail right beside out house and we go on lots of walks throughout the day. They will get lots of love, snuggles, and exercise!
About: Hi there! For years I’ve cared for dogs and cats for friends and family while they’re away, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable in a calm environment. I have plenty of hands-on experience and truly enjoy giving pets attention, care, and consistency while their owners are gone! I do have 3 outdoor cats, but they are separate and will not interfere with your pet’s space, comfort, or routine. When I’m not caring for animals, you can find me at church, playing pickleball, reading my Bible, going to the gym, or grabbing an acai bowl! :) I play professional pickleball, so my day is structured around training in short blocks. I train in the morning and again in the afternoon, but I’m home throughout the day to care for pets and provide walks, attention, and consistency. I’m never gone for more than 2–3 hours at a time, so your pet won’t be left alone for long periods. I’m available most weekdays and weekends when I’m not traveling for tournaments. I will only accept bookings when I’m fully available to provide proper care and attention! I have a spacious one story home and a backyard where pets can safely spend time outside. One side of the yard is not fully fenced, so I always supervise outdoor time or keep them on their leash. Pets will also get regular walks around my safe, quiet neighborhood for exercise. My home is clean, calm, and set up to make pets feel comfortable and secure!
“You can tell she loves dogs and does her best to help them feel comfortable and loved. Our dog’s medical needs were no problem for Angie. We are happy with the great care she gave to our pup and loved the updates and photos we received.”

Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
96% of sitters in Gunlock can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Gunlock.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
