About: Besides taking care of my own precious miniature schnauzer growing up, I have looked over dogs for several families for the past 10+ years with services including boarding, walks, visits and doggy day care for all kinds of breeds. I had to be inactive on rover for a couple of years due to moving but happy to be back! I have also worked as a receptionist/assistant at a Veterinary clinic where I interacted and looked over many different breeds that passed through or stayed over night. During this time I also learned a lot about how to assist dogs with medical issues and important signs of needing urgent care. I have a deep love for all kinds of animals, dogs (& cats!) especially, and would be more than happy to take care of your furry friends just as I would my own! I am more than happy to answer any questions that you may have and will always make sure your dog is happy, comfortable, and well looked after :) I can adjust my schedule to their wake up/meal times as well. On the weekends, I can take them out to dog friendly spaces if that is something they enjoy 😊 Before any stay, I make sure everything is set up for your pup’s arrival and try to make them as comfortable as possible. I have a dog gate to prevent them from getting out or from going anywhere I can’t keep an eye on them. For stays or visits, I don’t take any dog out off leash for walks and I make sure to put on their leash securely before opening the door. If they will be left alone for any reason, I will generally place them in their crate for their safety unless you are comfortable with them being out.
