I’m currently out of work for the summer (elementary teacher), so I have plenty of time to spare to care for, play with, and give loads of pets to your furry family member! For my drop-in service, the first thing that you can expect me to do is get to know the pup that I will be taking care of for you (sniffs, gentleness, and patience). Once your pet is comfortable, I will stick to the routine you give me. Morning walks before breakfast? Bathroom break after dinner? I will do exactly that! Of course, I will spend some time playing with them and petting them, if they want me to, before leaving. I will never push your dog outside their comfort zone, and I will always respect their homes too.

Behind our home is a beautiful recreation area (Southport Community Park) which makes for a great relaxing environment for your pet. I work as a Medical Assistant from Monday to Friday until 5:00 PM, so I have full availability for evening walks and night visits during the week. Weekends are my days off and I have full availability for day care or long stays (boarding). My work in the health area makes me an extremely punctual and organized person with food and medicine schedules. As a health professional and owner of my cat Amy, safety and well-being come first for me. I am very meticulous following medical instructions or special diets. About: With over 4 years of professional dog handling/training experience, I aim to keep your furry friend safe and happy! Before we get to my experience, I just want to mention that I am wheelchair bound, so I prefer to stick to walking smaller dogs unless they are well-mannered on a leash! The size of animal is not a concern if a walk is not a requirement! For drop ins, it would require a mostly accessible entrance into the home. I can do a single small step, but otherwise zero-entry would be the most ideal! I have worked alongside a dog trainer who also offers boarding services for the past 4 years, I have volunteered for many animal shelters, including Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando for 2 years, I have been training my own dogs for the past 14 years, including training my current service dog, and I have previously shadowed veterinarians in a clinic environment. I absolutely love both dogs and cats, and I can assure you that they will be in great hands! I truly can’t wait to get in touch with you and meet your fur baby!! I currently work a part-time job, but often get scheduled full-time hours. I usually work between the hours of 8 and 6:30, so I can do night checks on my work days. My guaranteed days off are Monday and Tuesday, and I could complete as many drop ins as needed to keep your fur baby happy and healthy! I want to make sure that your baby stays comfortable, especially with a stranger coming into the home. I am very well versed on animal behaviour and body language, so I will never rush or force an interaction. I plan to follow the same schedule that you would as an owner, so that their schedule remains the same, even without a family member present. I will also make sure that the pet parents are staying updated with photos and messages throughout the day to maintain trust and communication!

About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life. I dedicate as much time as possible with my babies. We have so little time with them and we are all they have. I will always spoil and love my pets with everything I have. I work full time at a theme park but have organized my schedule to optimize my time home. I can also adapt and change schedule throughout the seasons. I have protected my home to keep dogs downstairs so there is a separation between the levels of the house. Their toys and spaces are sanitized especially when brining a new puppy home in summer 2025. I keep up with house care to combat the fur and love a cuddle puddle on our massive couch. All food is inaccessible and have options to let them play in areas around the house inside and out.

About: Besides taking care of my own precious miniature schnauzer growing up, I have looked over dogs for several families for the past 10+ years with services including boarding, walks, visits and doggy day care for all kinds of breeds. I had to be inactive on rover for a couple of years due to moving but happy to be back! I have also worked as a receptionist/assistant at a Veterinary clinic where I interacted and looked over many different breeds that passed through or stayed over night. During this time I also learned a lot about how to assist dogs with medical issues and important signs of needing urgent care. I have a deep love for all kinds of animals, dogs (& cats!) especially, and would be more than happy to take care of your furry friends just as I would my own! I am more than happy to answer any questions that you may have and will always make sure your dog is happy, comfortable, and well looked after :) I can adjust my schedule to their wake up/meal times as well. On the weekends, I can take them out to dog friendly spaces if that is something they enjoy 😊 Before any stay, I make sure everything is set up for your pup’s arrival and try to make them as comfortable as possible. I have a dog gate to prevent them from getting out or from going anywhere I can’t keep an eye on them. For stays or visits, I don’t take any dog out off leash for walks and I make sure to put on their leash securely before opening the door. If they will be left alone for any reason, I will generally place them in their crate for their safety unless you are comfortable with them being out. I currently work part time and am usually home all day on Mondays and Fridays, and most of the day on weekends. I'm able to adjust my schedule to accommodate your pets routine better and would also be able to take them with me sometimes! Before any stay, I make sure everything is set up for your pup’s arrival and try to make them as comfortable as possible.
