I live in a dog-friendly apartment community with access to a fenced dog park and plenty of areas for walks. I also have two other roommates who are comfortable around dogs and help create a welcoming environment. When caring for dogs in my home, I focus on providing a safe, calm, and loving space where they can stick to their normal routine as much as possible. I’ll make sure they get regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, fresh water, meals according to your instructions, and lots of attention and affection. My goal is to help every dog feel comfortable, happy, and at home during their stay.

About: I've been caring for my own pets since I was a child. Care for my own children's pets as needed. I truly believe that animals are like family and should be treated as such. Retired military but I do have a child at home as well as my own pet. However that does leave my schedule still very flexible allowing me to help all days of the week and most times of the day. I respect everyone's privacy and will take care with loving their pet in their own space. I will respect the owners wishes as for what they prefer their pet to eat, how often as well as any exercise or play time. Leashes will always be used when outside their space to ensure their safety. Any guidelines the pet owner has in regards to how their pet responds to strangers and other animals will be taken into consideration for the safety of their pets and those around if taken outside their own homes.

I’m currently out of work for the summer (elementary teacher), so I have plenty of time to spare to care for, play with, and give loads of pets to your furry family member! For my drop-in service, the first thing that you can expect me to do is get to know the pup that I will be taking care of for you (sniffs, gentleness, and patience). Once your pet is comfortable, I will stick to the routine you give me. Morning walks before breakfast? Bathroom break after dinner? I will do exactly that! Of course, I will spend some time playing with them and petting them, if they want me to, before leaving. I will never push your dog outside their comfort zone, and I will always respect their homes too.

About: While many sitters focus primarily on cats and dogs, I also have experience caring for exotic pets, including birds, reptiles, and ferrets. Over the past year, I’ve regularly helped care for my bestfriend’s ferrets, Boo and Zero, ensuring they receive proper supervision, enrichment, feeding, and attention. My experience with both traditional and exotic pets allows me to adapt to a variety of care requirements and environments! My schedule is currently very flexible! I’m generally available Monday through Friday, especially during daytime hours, but im happy to work with pet parents to find a schedule that works best for everyone.. just let me know in advance ^_^ I treat every pet as if they were my own. I make sure pets have fresh water, a clean environment, plenty of attention, and a consistent routine! About: Besides taking care of my own precious miniature schnauzer growing up, I have looked over dogs for several families for the past 10+ years with services including boarding, walks, visits and doggy day care for all kinds of breeds. I had to be inactive on rover for a couple of years due to moving but happy to be back! I have also worked as a receptionist/assistant at a Veterinary clinic where I interacted and looked over many different breeds that passed through or stayed over night. During this time I also learned a lot about how to assist dogs with medical issues and important signs of needing urgent care. I have a deep love for all kinds of animals, dogs (& cats!) especially, and would be more than happy to take care of your furry friends just as I would my own! I am more than happy to answer any questions that you may have and will always make sure your dog is happy, comfortable, and well looked after :) I can adjust my schedule to their wake up/meal times as well. On the weekends, I can take them out to dog friendly spaces if that is something they enjoy 😊 Before any stay, I make sure everything is set up for your pup’s arrival and try to make them as comfortable as possible. I have a dog gate to prevent them from getting out or from going anywhere I can’t keep an eye on them. For stays or visits, I don’t take any dog out off leash for walks and I make sure to put on their leash securely before opening the door. If they will be left alone for any reason, I will generally place them in their crate for their safety unless you are comfortable with them being out. We want your time to be as stress free as possible while your pets are with us. We have a double fenced back yard surrounded with trees and bird to create a secure, private with cameras and relaxed environment for your pets. The house is set up to create a family environment to train or get your pets acclimated with a home.
