“Esmerilda is an absolutely fantastic person and cares immensely for our dog. She has been our weekly dog walker for a little over 6 months--Our dog is a rescue and was quite difficult in the beginning, but Esmerilda has done a lot to help train and rehabilitate her. She also has done house sitting for us. I'd definitely recommend her to anyone who needs help with their dogs.”

“This was my first time ever using Rover or hiring a dog walker and Nora was AMAZING!! She was so wonderful with my senior lab and flexible with her needs. Thank you for taking such great care of her while I was away!”

About: I’ve taken care of dog for with more than 5 years. I personally have two dogs in the house which are 10 lbs and 30 lbs. I’ve successfully trained 3 puppies in the past 5 years and also fostered before for a rescue. I’ve also been providing boarding service for my friends with at least 6 dogs, pictures are included in my profile. All the dogs will be separated when I’m out, and basic training can be provided if owner requests. I’ve successfully taking care of 5 dogs at one time including two puppies. I’m a recent graduate at UC Davis, and currently WFH all day. I will walk dogs twice a day and give them bathroom break at least 4-5 times every day. I have a fenced yard in the house. All the dogs will be separated when I’m not at home. For safety reasons, dogs will stay in the crate when humans are not around but they can be on furniture once humans are presented.

I love making sure pets get consistent care and attention, no matter how busy your routine may be. I treat your home and your pets with total respect and care. During walks and drop-in visits, I always keep your pet’s safety and happiness first by using positive reinforcement, keeping a close eye on surroundings, and following your care instructions exactly. I’ll send updates, photos, and videos so you never have to wonder how your furry friend is doing. My approach is gentle, responsible, and tailored to each animal’s comfort level.

About: I grew up around dogs of all sizes and ages, but in 6th grade I finally got my own puppy! I was responsible for crate training, potty training, and all of her other needs. I will follow any guidelines you have for your dog! I am experienced with crate training, walking, playing, etc. I am also willing to follow/learn any medical or dietary needs your pet has to ensure their wellbeing is the top priority.

During my time in the military I also had training with military K-9’s! So if you have a slightly more aggressive dog that may worry you for scheduling a pet sitter, I’m your guy! M-W-F (Overnight or late Evening) T-Th (Late Evening) Sat-Sun (Anytime) Please do let me at least 1-Day in advance prior to cancellation for adjustments, Thanks! About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8 years old. I have experience owning and caring for dogs since the third grade. I have experience feeding, grooming, bathing, playing, walking, jogging, running, and basic training (sit, stay, down, leave it, paw, high-five, heel, leash training) with dogs and puppies of all ages. I also have experience training my own service dog when I was in undergrad. I also have a bachelor’s in animal science, and have hands on experience with handling dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, and hamsters. One thing I do care about is providing quality service to ensure that the pet feels at home meanwhile missing their owners. I’m currently looking for a new job so I have a lot of flexibility with my current schedule. I am available to board Fridays through Sundays. I am available to house sit/pet sit weekdays and weekends. Since I’m currently a student taking online classes and not working, I have flexible availability. I am open to make any accommodations in regards to rescheduling or extending a stay for clients that are able to provide me a 24-48 hour notice. I like to communicate with my clients about any specific needs or concerns that I would need to know as a caretaker. Knowing the personality, age, medical needs, tips and tricks, favorite snacks, and as many details about your pet is valuable information for me. I want to ensure that all needs for the client and the pet is met. I value safety and trust, which I find very important to build in a client-based environment.

About: I grew up with a bird and dog, and a cat was recently added to the family (I do not live with any pets currently). I backpack trained the cat, made toys and fortresses for the cat, took the dog on walks and hikes, whistled to the bird, and gave all the animals as many pets as I can! I've additionally done lots of pet sitting over the years for friends and family: cats, small dogs, medium dogs, rats, mice, aquariums, and insects. I don't mind reptiles either! I have a flexible schedule, spare for Thursdays when I have class (but still available for evenings after 6pm). I am willing to wake up early or stay up late for the job. I make sure to take things slow when needed in order to prevent stress for the animals. I keep a consistent schedule for feeding and cleaning. And I try to engage with the animals as much as possible when they are up for it. There is a tendency to be more easy going but I amp up the energy for playtime and walks. I like to walk in general, so I can go far for those higher energy dogs!

About: I have grown up around animals my entire life and I’ve always had a passion for helping them. I used to pet sit for neighbors often when I was younger. I have a particular love for cats, and I would do anything for them! It can be hard to find a person to watch your cat or even exotic pet, but that’s what I’m aiming to help people with! I have almost 6 years of clinical animal care technician and shelter experience so I am well trained with animals with medical issues. I have worked with pets of all kinds and all ages with different needs. I have done everything from bottle feeding to giving senior animals insulin or whatever else they may need. I am Fear Free certified as well. I recently moved to the area and am looking for work. Caring for pets is what I know and love. If I get a more steady job, my availability may lessen. I understand that pets can be confused by new people coming into their home to take care of them, but I am well versed in animal behavior and would never do anything to make your pet uncomfortable. I will take the time to get to know your pet and assist them with whatever they may need. I currently do not live in a situation where I can petsit other people’s pets in my own home unfortunately.

About: With over 20 years of dedicated pet experience, I have developed a deep understanding and profound love for animals of all kinds. My journey began with adopting my first dog, a lively mixed breed, which ignited my passion for animal welfare. Over the years, my home has been a sanctuary for a variety of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits and even reptiles (upon occasion). I work from home most of the week, so I have a flexible schedule to meet the needs of other working professionals that are looking for a reliable, passionate pet sitter to take their fur babies on walks (or runs) while keeping them within their familiar environment. Unfortunately, at this time, I am unable to welcome any pets in my house. I have fur babies of my own that I do not wish to upset their home life.

About: I have been around dogs since I was born! I currently have two dogs (1 medium & 1 large) and I love taking care of them. I have always been a huge animal lover and I would to share some of that love with your pet. I am currently home from college and am looking for some part-time work to bridge my gap between quarters. I do not currently have any other jobs lined up so I am very available for pet-sitting/walking. In a clients home, I would be able to spend a ton of time with your pet! Playing, feeding, and giving them some love. Depending on what a client needs, I can provide that for them.

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong love for animals and the years of hands-on experience I’ve had caring for them. I grew up in a pet-loving household where caring for dogs (and other animals!) was part of daily life—from energetic puppies to aging senior dogs who needed extra patience and care. I’m attentive, calm under pressure, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs of all temperaments. Whether your pup needs long walks, medication, or just some belly rubs and companionship, I bring both knowledge and heart to the job. I treat every dog as if they’re my own and take the time to understand their unique needs and personalities. Your dog’s comfort, safety, and happiness are my top priorities—and I’ll always keep you updated with photos, messages, and peace of mind while you’re away! I currently have a flexible, remote position, and am happy to work around the schedule of others! Let me know what your pets' needs are, and I am sure I can work it into my schedule :) My top priority is making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved—whether they’re in my home or I’m in theirs. I adapt my care based on each pet’s unique personality, routine, and needs. In a client’s home, I do my best to maintain the pet’s normal routine and environment. I follow all instructions closely—from feeding schedules and walk times to special care like medications or crate training. I know how important consistency is, and I aim to make your pet feel like I’m just part of the usual routine. I also make sure to keep the space clean and respectful—your home is treated with the same care I’d give my own. When caring for pets in my home, I create a calm, welcoming space that’s pet-friendly and safe. I ensure dogs have plenty of time for exercise, mental stimulation, and affection. I limit exposure to unfamiliar pets and follow any special requirements—whether that’s slow introductions, quiet spaces for anxious pups, or keeping to a strict medication schedule. Above all, I give pets the individual attention they deserve and keep you updated regularly with messages and photos so you feel confident they’re in good hands.

“Michelle is friendly and communicative, and my corgi appeared very happy in his photos with her from their walk! She always provides context on where she is and how the walk went :)”
