She was very attentive to both of their individual needs. Lily is an indoor/outdoor cat who likes to spend time outside during the day, and Latasha was very accommodating to her routine while making sure Lily was safely inside by nighttime. She also took great care of Pepper and made sure both of our pets were comfortable and well cared for. We also really appreciated how thoughtful she was with our home. She kept everything clean and tidy, brought in our mail, and even left a few little goodies for us when we returned, which was such a sweet surprise! Latasha was caring, responsible, communicative, and clearly went above and beyond. About: I'm comfortable with all dog sizes, though am physically limited for some walking (up to 30 minutes per walk), tugging, and lifting. I have plenty of experience giving injections and oral medications. I have a lot of experience training puppies and aided my senior pup who was blind, deaf, and had dementia at the end. I do not mind having to change doggie diapers, either. I also have some experience with hamsters, pigs, birds, snakes, chickens, goats, sheep, horses, etc. I am a stay at home mom to two independent teens and have several pets of my own. I am available most days and times, whether for checking in on your pets, or staying the night so they don't get too lonely. If you have a contained/caged animal (like rodents, snakes, etc) that needs to stay out of your house for a given time, that can be discussed. I am unable to keep loose animals in my home due to my own pets. I can feed the pets on or off of a schedule, give medications when necessary, clean up after them (outdoor and indoor), brush them, give lots of cuddles and play time. I don't mind kennel/crating them or helping to train the animals. I also have experience with Fluent Pet buttons/talking pets.

About: I am a work from home RN which allows me to be present with your babies and give them all the snuggles, treats, walks and play time they could want. My husband and I both have had dogs all of our lives and feel completely comfortable around all types of breeds. We have two dogs of our own and they are so incredibly loved and cared for. We will give you the peace of mind while you are away that your babies are cared for as you would. Since I am home all day, there's very little time your pup will be left alone. I can provide frequent potty breaks, play time and walks. ​We live on a peaceful 1.3-acre property and are one of only three houses on a long, quiet dead-end street with virtually no traffic. We have a massive backyard surrounded by nature with endless room for pups to run and play! ​A quick note on safety: While our large yard is unfenced, your dog's safety is our absolute top priority. If your pup is a wanderer or loves to roam, we are fully prepared to take extra measures—such as using long training lines, continuous supervision, or structured outdoor play—to ensure they get plenty of freedom and exercise without compromising their safety. ​As the proud owner of two dogs myself, I completely understand the anxiety of leaving your furry family members. I treat every guest like my own and promise to keep your babies safe, happy, and loved in your absence!

About: I have been taking care of sweet, precious pups since I was 7 years old when my mom surprised me and my brother with a basset hound puppy after school. Her name was Roxanne. A couple years later, we rescued a 6-year-old basset hound, Brandi, and a few years later, we rescued a 1-year-old beagle mix, Misty, and adopted a basset hound puppy, Willow, who had just been born on a farm near our house. We treasured our sweet babies, cooking for them every day - hard-boiled eggs for breakfast and meat and veggies for dinner. And they lived long, happy lives. Brandi, Misty, and Willow all made it to about 15 years old! I just moved from Colorado to start my PhD in Public Health at WashU, and I can't wait to pick back up with dog sitting again! In Colorado, I was the honorary dog sitter at my church. One couple even flew me out to California a few times to continue caring for their sweet pup after they moved! Between my own dogs and others' dogs, I've taken care of dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors who need lots of support. I am a PhD student at WashU Bursky School of Public Health. This semester, I have a class on the Danforth campus on Tuesdays from 9am to 12pm, Wednesdays from 12pm-1pm, and Thursdays from 1pm-4pm. My research is remote. So, I have lots of flexibility to make sure your pups get their potty breaks and play time and walk time, even on days that I have class. And house sitting would work super well :) I am offering house sitting, check-ins, and walks. If I am house sitting, I will always stay the night to make sure your pets are safe and well taken care of. I will keep the outer doors locked and make sure I am able to hear your pets if they need me. I am also happy to sleep in the same room with them if that is your preference. I will make sure to follow whatever schedule your pets need, e.g., eating, medicine, walking. As far as check-ins and walks, I will make sure to respect whatever rules you have for the house (e.g., shoes off, doors locked). I'm also happy to give your dogs a bath when they need it!

She got our dog to take her medicine so well and kept us updated as our dog was having a bit of an arthritis flare. About: I love dogs and cats and have some extra time so I couldn’t think of a better way to fill it. I have previous experience working as a dog walker. I’ve had dogs and cats as pets and feel comfortable with all sizes. I’m always the go to dog sitter for my friends and I really enjoy it. I think it’s really fun to get to know others dog personalities. I have my own transportation and am reliable. I really value good communication and will strive to be as available as I can. I’m super over protective of my pets and will definetly extend that with yours so you can feel comfortable when leaving your met with me. I’ve never met a dog I didn’t get along with! About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life, especially Boston Terriers, so being around them has always been second nature to me. While I was in college, I lived with an Aussiedoodle, which gave me experience caring for a high-energy, intelligent breed as well. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and can guarantee they'll get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection while they're in my care. My current dog has Crohn's disease and struggles with anxiety, so I'm very comfortable caring for dogs with special needs, administering extra attention, and following specific care routines. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I regularly dog sit and house sit for family and friends. I understand how important it is to know your pet is in good hands, and I always treat every dog as if they were my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I currently have a dog of my own, so I'm already used to feeding, walking, playing with, and caring for pets every day. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to stay at your home full-time if needed and let your dog out frequently for potty breaks, exercise, and playtime. I understand that every pet has a different routine, and I'm committed to following their schedule to help them feel comfortable and cared for while you're away. For overnight stays, I focus on keeping your pet's routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I stay in your home so your pet can remain in a familiar environment, which helps them feel comfortable while you're away. I follow all feeding schedules, provide fresh water, take them outside for potty breaks as often as needed, and make sure they get plenty of exercise, playtime, and affection. If your pet has any medications or special care instructions, I'm happy to follow those as well. I'll also keep your home clean and respect it as if it were my own, and I'm happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

“We had Mallory stay overnight at our house with our senior Persian. Before her stay, she came over for a meet and greet so everyone felt comfortable. It was apparent that she is a very kind and caring person. During her stay she kept us updated with how things were going and pictures. She cleaned up a couple of puking incidents and let us know that Marigold had in fact puked, had been sneezing and hadn’t had a bowel movement. These updates were truly appreciated and I was relieved she was paying attention to things that seemed out of the ordinary. Marigold routinely potties on potty pads and Mallory kept up with those changings which, in my opinion, is above and beyond kitty care. Additionally, Miss Marigold tends to yowl in the nights as she has aged and has reduced vision in one eye. Mallory was patient with those night time needs and brought her back to bed with her to comfort her. Overall, I appreciate the above and beyond care and I recommend her to anyone who has kitties!”

About: I’ve been dog walking and pet sitting since I was in high school. I’m well experienced in caring for cats and dogs of all kinds. I’m currently a PhD student looking for extra work as I complete my dissertation. My schedule is highly flexible both on weekends and weekdays and I am available on weekdays and weekends. I will not be able to care for pets in my own home, as I have a cat of my own. However, I am comfortable entering others homes and caring for animals in their place of living, including letting dogs in the backyard, crating animals, and cleaning up any potential messes made in my absence.

About: Cai has been providing in home pet care since she was a teenager and began boarding pets when she started grad school in 2020. Joe has been boarding cats since around 2019 and has began boarding dogs since 2024. My partner and I work from home and provide full time care, meaning that, unless discussed beforehand explicitly, your pet will not be left alone and you can rest easy knowing they have our full attention. We only accept more than one pet at a time if they live in the same house and we are pet free right now, so you dont have to worry about how they might get along with any other animals. We have a fenced in yard for your pup to run around in and we live minutes away from Tower Grove Park where I love to take walks.
