“Beccy was a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end. We were quite last minute bookers but she responded very quickly and straight away we had peace of mind that our little Missy would be well cared for. The home and surroundings Beccy has are perfect for fur babies. Her updates were regular and always put a smile on our faces when we received them. Our dog had such a great time that I got the impression she didnt want to come home with us! We will be using Beccy 100% for all our dog sitting needs. Thanks so much again. Love from the Salmons x”

“Sonata was amazing, she really took fantastic care of Shadow and put my mind at ease all the way along, as this was the first time we had left shadow with someone. Sonata was really caring and flexible and kept us up to date with photos and videos which were much appreciated. Nacho, Sonata's own dog was great company for Shadow and she had a ball. ”

“We had a great experience with Emmet. He took wonderful care of our cat Jinx, kept us updated throughout his stay, and even took him to his vet appointment for vaccination. Jinx came home relaxed and happy, which says it all. We highly recommend Emmet and would definitely book with him again!”

“Absolutely amazing woman! I didn’t want to leave Blackie in a kennel after only having him for a couple of months so it was wonderful to see him in a wonderful home with other dogs. Unfortunately due to my bad judgment of letting Blackie sleep in my bed poor Chimene has to sleep in a spare room with him and not once did I get a call on our holidays to complain. It was great piece of mind knowing Blackie was being treated as one of the family and was on the same routines as he would have been in our home. I think he didn’t want to leave! Would highly recommended Chimene and will defo be my frat option when going anywhere for any length of time.”

About: Hello! As a veterinary nurse i would love to mind your cats while you're away! It can be so stressful for a cat to be in a carrier, transported to an unfamiliar location and then be in an unfamiliar environment while you're away. The beauty of this service is they get to stay at home in the comfort of what they know with very little stress. I worked for Noel Fitzpatrick (The supervet) for 4 years in the UK and it was an amazing experience. I learnt so much and got to experience nursing at the highest level. And that care, love and attention is what I'll be bringing to this service! I'm happy to drive so please reach out to check if I can cat sit for you, even if the app shows I am outside your area :)

FAQs for Dog Boarding - Enniscorthy

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Dog Boarding in Enniscorthy on Rover is {{median_grand_total_num.as_currency}} per night (as of {{date}}). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Dog Boarding easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Dog Boarding.

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialise in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your Eircode to find a sitter within walking distance in your neighbourhood.

Finding the right boarding environment is all about peace of mind. Boarding with a sitter on Rover helps you find a cosy experience in a real home for your dog.

When searching for a host, look for a sitter who:

  • Offers a secure, home-like environment that is clean and welcoming
  • Adheres to your dog’s established routine for meals, activity, and rest
  • Possesses relevant experience with your pet’s specific breed, size, and personality
  • Maintains clear communication regarding the frequency of photo and message updates

Don’t skip the Meet & Greet! The free Meet & Greet is the best way to see where your dog will sleep and who they might play with.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up to date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in Wexford ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines such as Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Infectious Canine Hepatitis (Adenovirus), and Leptospirosis.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Some boarding sitters stay with the dogs in their care for most of the day, while others may step out for work, errands or other commitments. Each sitter’s schedule and the amount of time your dog may be left alone will vary, so it is important to agree expectations before the stay begins.

Before booking, tell the sitter how long your dog can comfortably be left alone and confirm their typical schedule during the stay. Adding the maximum number of hours your dog can be left alone to their profile can also help sitters decide whether they are the right match.

Boarding does not automatically include round-the-clock supervision. If your dog needs someone present at all times, ask whether the sitter offers constant care or 24/7 care. This may require a separate arrangement and may not be included in the sitter’s standard boarding rate.

Every sitter must complete an identity verification process before listing their services on Rover. This process checks that the sitter’s identity matches their provided documents.

Identity verification doesn't assess a sitter’s experience or suitability for your pet. To see if a sitter is the right fit, you can review each sitter's profile for ratings, verified reviews, repeat pet owner information and care style. We also recommend arranging a Meet & Greet to discuss your pet’s needs and make sure the sitter is the right fit before booking.

For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three- or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-in visits, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12.00 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our booking protection will kick in. This means you'll get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who've never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover, but you're welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you've previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you're booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you'll have a chance to go through your pet's routine, medical needs and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. A Meet & Greet is a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
