About: My love for animals all started when I was eight and took care of a family friend's cats. Since then, I have gained experience with animals of all types and sizes. In addition to our family dog, I adopted a rabbit of my own who was my pride and joy for six years before succumbing to a hereditary health issue. I also have taken horse lessons, and I currently volunteer with a nearby animal shelter as a dog walker and socializer. I am comfortable with pets of all sizes and breeds, and I look forward to offering your pet the best care it can get. I am currently working remotely, so pet care will be sprinkled throughout my daily routine. Because my schedule is spaced out and very flexible, I will be able to visit your pet as many times as needed throughout the day (or even stay at the house while working if asked) to ensure that they are getting the quality care and attention they need. I work with my clients to give both them and their pets the best possible experience. Prior to hire, I am happy (and in fact, prefer) to have a free 15-30 minute consultation to familiarize myself to the pet and discuss any care specifics that the client may have. Because my care is individualized and will conform to the owner's wishes, I love to send pictures and videos throughout the day of the pet's activities and any extra-cute moments. I make it a habit to send short write-ups of the day and the pet's activities that day so that my clients feel as connected as possible to their pets.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, I have a cat currently and family members have always had dogs and cats. I volunteered at the Humane Society throughout high school and have lots of experience pet sitting! 😻 I also used to foster kittens which I loved doing. I love being around animals and caring for them. I am a student working part time, so that gives me plenty of free time to check in on your furry friends throughout the day, take them on walks, and spend the night with them! I am a trustworthy person who will respect your space as I would my own and leave it better than I found it. I am an EMT-b and am working on my RBT certification, so I have been through several background checks and first aid trainings. Safety and trust are very important to me and if desired I can frequently send you pictures/videos of your pets throughout the day! 🫶

About: Animals are my passion! I have experience with giving medication to animals, dealing with anxious animals, and other maintenance concerns regarding your furry friend(s). I will treat your pets and animals as if they were my own, so there is no need to look any further! :) I am currently going to school, but I am able to commute on days other than Monday and Wednesday during the fall 2025 semester. I would appreciate listing any medications that you animals may need and when those ought to be given to them. While I cannot provide my own home for your animals getaway, I would love to make your animals feel like they are not far from home while you're away. If you leave explicit instructions regarding what you would like me to do while in your residence, you can trust that they will be followed and respected.

About: Quiet Country setting for your pet. My husband and I have taken care of dogs and cats since we were around 10 years old. We have helped with various breeds and sizes. From as small as chihuahua and pug, up to shepherds and Labrador retrievers. We currently have two dogs of our own that we adore! We treat all dogs like they are our children. My husband is currently full time at home 5 days a week so can provide attention and care like we do with our dog. After 4:30pm during the week they will get all the loving and cuddles they want. On the weekends both my husband and I are off so can provide care during the whole day. Our dogs can keep your pet company they love all dogs and cats. They will have the comfort of cuddling on pet pillows or even cuddling on the couch with us. I(Kristen) currently work full time but my husband(Samuel) is currently full time at home so he can provide all day care. Once I'm off at 4:30pm both can provide care. On weekends we are available all day. We can offer daily exercise like walks on a leash due we have a nice big yard but do not have a fenced in yard. Also could crate if needed. At client's home would provide exercise, play time, and crate if needed.

About: I’ve had pets of all sizes, shapes, and needs. I’d love to take your dog for a walk, feed your bearded dragon, or snuggle with your cat. Working from home allows me the flexibility to give special attention or break for a walk any time of day! Your pet will love laying at my feet, exploring my fenced in back yard, or getting some exercise on a walk around town. I have a fenced in yard and an old, friendly dog and 3 cautious cats to keep your pet company. Your pet will have run of the house like they’re at home. I am happy to crate your pet if that is your preference.

About: As someone who was raised on a fully functioning farm, animal husbandry has been a part of my daily routine since I could walk! I have experience with almost every domestic animal under the sun, but dogs and cats have always been very personal to me. I would love to extend my love for pets to you and your fur family by caring for them as I would my own. Caring for pets is my full time job! I am highly flexible and usually able to accommodate whatever you and your furbabies need. When house sitting, I will need to leave at least once a day to check in at my house, but otherwise your pets have my full attention. I want your pets to be safe and happy. I am willing to take on whatever routine you have established to make your time away as easy on your pets as possible. Safety and fun are my top priorities!

We spoke prior to her visit and she asked questions to make sure that she was giving them the expected care. She was prompt with the times that we discussed to drop in on the dogs. She walked each one of them individually on a double leash (so no one escaped) and sent pictures so that I would know they were okay. She even brought and left behind extra dog treats!”

About: I have always had a love for animals. I worked in the veterinary field for about 10 years. I have owned animals of my own since I was a small child. I aspire one day to become a certified dog trainer. I have pet sit everything from cats and dogs to goats and sheep. I do work full time but my father lets the dogs out at lunch time. I’m home by 5:30 so if it’s at my house it will be able to play from when I get home until the next morning. If the pet is not staying with me I will go before and after work and stay over if need be. My pets are extremely well cared for. Up to date on all vaccinations and flea medications. They all get plenty of exercise and have free range of the house when someone is home. They sleep in bed with me at night. I have a large fenced in yard for them to play. They are crated when someone is not home for their safety and to keep them out of trouble.

About: As the daughter of a groomer, I have been around dogs since I was a child. I have seen a variety of different sizes and breeds over the years, and have experienced many different temperaments as well. I am a dog lover in all aspects, I have 5 dogs of my own, big and small, and they are my children. My goal is to provide you with relief and peace of mind that your dogs are in good hands as I have taken care of dogs since I was around 9 years old. I have experience administering medications, topical creams, and proper grooming (thanks Mom!) to many different dogs and understand that all are different and special in their own way! Additionally, I have worked on a farm on and off during my youth, so I have experience working with large animals and small animals and birds too! I am a college student studying at Virginia Tech, so pet care has always been my full time job during the summers! I do have a part time job right now, but my boss is knowledgeable of my passion for animals and allows me to create my work schedule around my animal schedule! I provide excellent care by providing what’s truly important in the pet care world: peace of mind. Leaving your dogs or cats with me would mean leaving them with someone who would love them, take them on hearty walks, wants to spend time with them, and give them all the pets and attention they could ask for during a stressful time when their owners were away. I want to take that stress away!

About: I was raised around animals of all kinds. I have experience with puppies, kittens, adult cats and dogs, as well as, senior pets. I have spent time working in a professional dog boarding/daycare facility, and I have gained experiences in dog behaviors, interactions, and care. I can administer medication and follow any special meal requirements including special diets or any special feeding routines or habits. I am comfortable with cats of all sociability and dogs of all kinds. No one is too big or too small! I am at home full time caring for my nieces and nephew ages 2, 10, and 14. I do prefer that any guests are friendly with children, cats, and dogs, but I do have space to separate if needed. I have a flexible schedule and am willing to work around yours! I am also available early mornings and late nights to help you provide your pet the best care. Ensuring the safety of your pet is my top priority. I will follow any instructions exactly. I will take extra care with reactive dogs and make sure that I am aware of all triggers and rules that you may have for your pet.
