About: As someone who was raised on a fully functioning farm, animal husbandry has been a part of my daily routine since I could walk! I have experience with almost every domestic animal under the sun, but dogs and cats have always been very personal to me. I worked at doggie daycares/boarding facilities for 3 years, and am an assistant at a competitive showing kennel. I attended CATCH canine trainers academy as well. I would love to extend my love for pets to you and your fur family by caring for them as I would my own. I work part time at a private kennel, but have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. Caring for dogs has been my full time job for 4 years! Working with dogs as much as I have, I feel like I have seen it all! I care deeply about the health, safety, and mental well-being of your dog, and will do my best to give them an amazing time while you are away.

About: Animals have always been a central part of my life. As a pet owner myself, I understand that our pets are family members, not just animals. My personal dogs receive the same love, attention, and care that I would want for any pet entrusted to me. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have more than 15 years of hands-on experience with dogs and cats, including owning and operating a nonprofit animal rescue for five years. Through my rescue work, I cared for hundreds of dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, and temperaments, including puppies, seniors, special-needs pets, and dogs recovering from illness or surgery. I am experienced with administering medications, monitoring health concerns, and recognizing when a pet may need extra attention or veterinary care. I know that every pet has a unique personality and routine, and I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having a calm companion nearby, I will care for them as if they were my own. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide attentive care and accommodate a variety of pet care needs. Because I spend a significant amount of time at home, your pet will receive plenty of attention, companionship, exercise, and potty breaks throughout the day. I understand the importance of maintaining routines and will work with you to ensure your pet’s schedule, feeding times, medications, and preferences are followed closely. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a quieter environment, I can provide the level of care and attention they need. Safety is always my top priority. My experience running an animal rescue taught me how to properly introduce dogs, recognize signs of stress, manage different personalities, and provide a safe environment for pets with varying needs. I have a securely fenced yard and closely supervise outdoor time. I can also accommodate medications, special feeding instructions, crate training, and senior pet care.

About: I have taken care of pets (cats, dogs and birds) all my life. I have ample experience with dogs, including puppies…we had 10 rescue puppies at one point in time! I’m super patient and accommodating with our 4 legged friends as I have 3 full sized dogs and 2 cats myself. I have a full time job but am able to provide care in the evenings and weekends. I have a fenced dog lot and 1.5 acres to walk your fur baby (leashed) as well as access to a private country road. I have three full sized dogs and two cats in my own home. My home is large enough to separate pets as needed and to allow for ample play room if everyone gets along. I can let your pets out or take them for walks at your home as well.

About: I have a lifelong passion for caring for cats and dogs. I've had cats all my life and currently have a 15-year-old dog and 2 indoor/outdoor cats. I've also volunteered in dog boarding at a local business, where I was responsible for taking all the dogs out to potty at night. Your pets will be in loving and experienced hands! I am currently a stay at home Mom. So your pets will have cuddles and plenty of play time throughout the day! I typically start my morning at 6:30. So early morning risers are no problem for me! I live in a 2 story house and have plenty of space for your fur baby. I can make any accommodations to make your baby comfortable in your home or mine. Whether it be crating or separating animals I will make sure they are happy and safe!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was four years old. In the last five years I have traveled the country and dog/house sat in 8 states for neighbors, friends, family, and friends of. I have had experience in puppy training and working with dogs of all ages and size. I will treat your dog as if it were my own best friend! I am responsible and reliable and if I am free I will help as soon as possible! I like to provide fun updates to owners about the adventures their dogs and I have. Warning: You may come home to your dog wanting to go home with me. I work remote so my schedule is wide open as far as availability is concerned.. If that changes I will communicate it. If I am with your dogs they are my first priority. I am laid back and very flexible. I take the care of your best friend very serious. I try to keep your dog on the same schedule that you keep them on, although they may get longer walks and more belly and shoulder rubs with me.

About: I grew up in a home that had many different kinds of pets- from pups to kitties, to rabbits & guineas! I love being able to give them the love that I would give my own. I have a golden girl of my own now that is my best friend, and I hope to share that love to your fur babies. I am currently working part-time only, so I have the ability to care for your babies around that schedule and what works best for you! My golden girl can be kept in her own space at home, so that I am able to provide a safe space for yours, if needed. She is free to roam when I am home, and is also very comfortable around other animals.

I currently do work full time but I do create my own schedule and am pretty flexible so we can work around the hours needed for you and your pet! I do currently have two male dogs who are 8 and 9 years old. They both are very friendly and very playful. They play with puppies and older dogs very well and they’re very diverse with sizes of dogs who they are around. If your dog is aggressive to other male dogs, this won’t be a good fit for you. However, i’m happy to have an introduction to make sure everyone is comfortable. We tend to take a lot of walks and play ball in the yard throughout the day. During the summer we swim in the pop up pool we have for the boys and get the zooms out!

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was in preschool. My family has always had lots of pets throughout the house all through my childhood! I have lots of experience in giving baths, medicine, lots of cuddles and care! I will be sending plenty of pictures so you can see what your pet is up to at all times! I am currently working for myself while also working from home. This gives me all the time in the world to be just as attentive as you would be to your fur baby! I currently live in a nice neighborhood with plenty of grassy areas for potty breaks and open space for walks/jogs. My house is large enough to keep small dogs and larger dogs separated to ensure there are no accidents.

About: I am an experienced pet caregiver based near the Smith Mountain Lake area. I have hands-on experience caring for a variety of dogs, including large breeds, and am comfortable administering oral medications, providing bathing and basic grooming care, and handling dogs with different temperaments and needs. My experience comes from both personal and professional care. I have cared for my own dogs, as well as my parents’ and sister’s dogs, giving me regular, real-world experience with daily routines, exercise, feeding schedules, and overall pet wellbeing. Professionally, I have worked at a dog kennel where I was responsible for feeding, bathing, and supervising dogs in group play settings while ensuring safety and appropriate behavior. I also worked as a bather at a pet store, where I gained experience handling dogs during grooming-related services and maintaining their comfort throughout the process. I take pride in providing reliable, attentive care and treating every pet as if they were my own. I'm currently an aspiring Graphic Designer who just graduated from JMU. I am back home in the area for a while and looking to gain some clients while I’m there. I am willing to travel to your home to dog sit and give your dog the best care that I can while your gone. About: I’ve had pets of all sizes, shapes, and needs. I’d love to take your dog for a walk, feed your bearded dragon, or snuggle with your cat. Working from home allows me the flexibility to give special attention or break for a walk any time of day! Your pet will love laying at my feet, exploring my fenced in back yard, or getting some exercise on a walk around town. I have a fenced in yard and an old, friendly dog and 3 cautious cats to keep your pet company. Your pet will have run of the house like they’re at home. I am happy to crate your pet if that is your preference.

About: I have had the pleasure to take care of animals my whole life. After going to boot camp I realized how much animals actually give you peace of mind on a daily basis and I have taken care of neighbors animals and family ever since. I have plenty of space for animals of all sizes and a fenced in yard for dogs who need to run. I love to go on walks as I am very active and have to keep my 2 mile up always. I am also very patient for kitties who just want to lay around and sleep. If given the opportunity I would love to spend my time with the animals you love. I am in the national guard so I work 1 weekend a month and the rest is free! I am currently trying to make animal sitting an everyday thing so I can work out any times needed. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space inside as well. I have a doggy door for smaller dogs but I can let the bigger ones out just as easily. I do have a cat that is very friendly but she can go in my room if needed. There is room in my house to play and room for an animal to be alone if they wanted or needed

About: I have two small dogs who are my world. I love all types of pets, and I can make room in my schedule and heart to care for your dogs and cats. I will board your dogs or cats, or I can make daily check-ins at your home. I am currently retired and only work some part-time jobs. I am pretty flexible and will work with families to take care of your precious pets. I have a large farm and home and will crate your dogs as needed. They will love the open space for walks and play. I will keep all pets separated for a more stress-free experience.
