About: I have been in the pet industry for 15+ years including veterinary, retail and boarding. I also did house and pet sitting for a good friend of mine many times. I have worked in the petcare industry for more that 15 years. Most of it as a retail manager. I've done veterinary and boarding jobs also. I'm ready to basically become my own boss and do what I really love. I am a full-time homemaker but would love to include your pets in my everyday activities! ***Please be aware that sometimes I will accept multiple jobs at once*** I have fur babies and scale babies of my own. This includes 1 dog, 3 cats, 2 tree frogs, 2 leopard geckos, 1 hamster and multiple fish. They are not only my hobby but part of my family. My dog and cats are allowed on furniture so they can cuddle with us.

About: I'm an active volunteer with a local animal shelter, where I work hands-on with dogs of many ages, sizes, temperaments, I have experience caring for shy, anxious, high-energy, and sensitive dogs, and I'm comfortable with reading canine body language, building trust, and providing calm, reliable care tailored to each dog's needs. Pet care is part of my regular routine through weekend availability when I'm off work. I plan my schedule around providing attentive, consistent care, including walks, feeding, enrichment and companionship, so each dog receives focused, unhurried attention. I care for pets by following their established routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and preferred activities. I take time to build trust, especially with shy or anxious pets, by moving at their pace and reading their body language. I prioritize safety, cleanliness, and calm, attentive interaction, whether that means exercise and playtime or quiet companionship. In a client's home, I respect their space and ensure pets feel comfortable and secure in their familiar environment.

About: I have been a pet owner my entire life. I now own 2 cats and hermit crab (thanks to my son!). I have - tabby and a Persian. I have experience with a variety of felines. I also have experience with pets who may need medication. I have previously cared for a diabetic cat. I have a pretty flexible and accommodating schedule. I am available for potty walks throughout the day and multiple feedings/check ins as they are needed. Due to rental restrictions I am unable to keep pets in my home, but am happy to visit your pet in their comfortable safe space.

About: Homemade treats and lots of love and fun! We enjoy playing at home, going for long walks, playing at the dog park, riding with the windows down, belly rubs, kisses and cuddles. I don’t mind taking to the vet or pet stores to be of more help to you. Enjoy light grooming and brushing with your approval. No matter the size, they are all puppies or kitties to me lol. I even have jumps and hoops for the active pups who like to jump and have a good time. I can give meds and special diets when needed. I have many referrals.i have two daughters who both work for rover as well. We would love to spend time with your babies and give them love and attention I am a stay at home mom that works one day a week i am free to love and care for your babies while you are away. I am willing to crate when you ask me to but prefer time out of crate to spend with your babies. Nothing like playing ball or cuddling. Whatever your pet need, I’m available.

About: I have always been an animal lover, and my job has shown me how to specially care for each and every special baby. Two years in veterinary medicine gave me the experience to confidently handle medications, diabetic care, and reactive pets. I adore even your misunderstood animals and would love to send lots of photos, videos, and updates on your pets if allowed! I currently work at a Pet Wellness Center, but my schedule is very flexible. My shifts are arranged to give me plenty of time to care for both my own pets and yours. In most cases, I can take time off if needed. I also finish work by 7 pm at the latest, so evenings are completely free if that’s what works best for you. When boarding pets in my home, I provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where each animal feels at ease. I give plenty of attention, playtime, and cuddles, and follow any specific routines or instructions from their owners. I also make sure they get proper meals, medication if needed, and regular bathroom breaks. I live in a very rural, quiet part of Bedford in the middle of the woods, so along with a large yard, we have many trails, with plenty of space to run or go on leashed walks! I love sending updates with photos or videos so you can see your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.

About: Hello! I am a farm girl who grew up with dogs , cats , horses, cows and sheep. Over the past twenty five years I have adopted four rescue dogs taking dogs who were older and harder to adopt. If I could I would give every rescue animal a home. I have had success working with animals who others find daunting. I am skilled in basic obedience training and click training. I love puppies and elderly dogs equally. I am currently taking classes to start a new career and my schedule is very flexible. I can pet sit 7 days a week and will do my best to accommodate your scheduling needs I can come to your home and feed, walk, play or sit with your pet. I will be very conscientious about security and cleanliness and will update you with msgs via text or email. I like to send pics of pets so you can see your best friend while you are away and have peace of mind that all is good on the home front

About: I’ve had a pet all my life. I’ve worked professionally with dogs for the past 3 years. I have a cat of my own as well. I’ve worked at a dog boarding facility as well as a doggy daycare. Currently, I have an internship Thursday-Sunday, 5 hours each day. I’m available every evening/afternoon after my internship. I’m also available Monday-Wednesday at any time. :) I love spending time with furry friends, so I’m happy to fulfill whatever needs your pets may have! I love high energy walks and playing an intense game of fetch or tug of war, but I also love spending time with fur babies that may not be as energetic and may just want to relax or go on a slow paced stroll!

About: CPR certified, advanced first aid. Multiple years involved with training both basic obedience and herding. Capable of working on mobility or fitness programs for your furry friend. I am looking to assist you by taking your pup or pups for a dog walk late am to early afternoon. Usually available Tuesdays thru Thursdays. I will usually double leash on dog walks. I am very aware of my surroundings when walking dogs and have many years experience in caring for animals.

About: I have a lifelong passion for caring for cats and dogs. I've had cats all my life and currently have a 15-year-old dog and 2 indoor/outdoor cats. I've also volunteered in dog boarding at a local business, where I was responsible for taking all the dogs out to potty at night. Your pets will be in loving and experienced hands! About: I have taken care of pets (cats, dogs and birds) all my life. I have ample experience with dogs, including puppies…we had 10 rescue puppies at one point in time! I’m super patient and accommodating with our 4 legged friends as I have 3 full sized dogs and 2 cats myself. I have a full time job but am able to provide care in the evenings and weekends. I have a fenced dog lot and 1.5 acres to walk your fur baby (leashed) as well as access to a private country road. I have three full sized dogs and two cats in my own home. My home is large enough to separate pets as needed and to allow for ample play room if everyone gets along. I can let your pets out or take them for walks at your home as well.

About: The benefits of dogs swimming are tremendous! Whether it's releasing energy in younger pups or offering joint pain relief in seniors, I am excited to offer dog swimming as a service in my outdoor pool. This service includes pickup/drop-off, a half an hour swim with life jacket, one on one swim coaching, picture and/or video of your pup and a post swim shower. This service is listed under Doggy Day Care for $100. Feel free to message me with any questions or set up a meet and greet at your house. I have completed training as a dog groom technician and work part time at a local grooming salon. I have experience in handling dogs of any age, especially seniors. I understand the extra care and attention senior pups should have. I also love the energy in younger pups and embrace the opportunity to provide them with effective, yet enjoyable exercise. In addition to walking dogs, I am also a trained dog groomer technician. This allows me flexibility to accommodate various scheduling needs. Feel free to message me with any questions regarding scheduling or availability. The safety of your pet is my first priority. I will only take on one client per visit and will only handle two or more dogs if they live in the same home.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs/cats almost my entire life. I have 4 children, each dog I’ve ever had or have is my family and heart. About: I am a 26 year member of this local community (Bedford/Moneta/Vinton/Roanoke), homeschooling mother of 5 (3 have now graduated), grandma to 1 grandson, and most importantly, follower of Jesus Christ. I have have well over 20 years of experience in Pet Care. Love dogs, love animals! In fact, we raise chickens, sheep, and for the last 9 years, we have raised Great Pyrenees as livestock guardians and companion dogs. We care for, train and transport our sweet puppies and dogs multiple times per year nationwide. I have also worked for a groomer, assisting in the basics of grooming and bathing/drying, etc, as well as basic pet boarding operations. I can help with Pet Transportation, Pet Walking, Pet Sitting, Medication Administration of all types, Light Grooming and Nail Trimming. About: We have had animals all of my life in my adult life we have had dogs cats, turtles, horses, goats chickens, pretty much you name it I’ve had it currently I have a dog with some special needs so I am familiar and able to work around dogs that have special care restrictions So I am home every day but Tuesdays and Thursdays, which means I am able to walk your furry friends. Take care of them play with them. We also have plenty acreage to run. I am insured and will pass a background check. I have been a housekeeper for years and am extremely trustworthy. I will provide references if you would like them.
