“Michelle was very communicative and responded quickly. She provided updates and photos throughout the stay. She sent photos of the adventures and fun things my dog was doing with the family. Michelle was flexible with drop off and pick up. She even sent home some homemade treats. My anxious dog seemed very comfortable with her stay and I will definitely use Michelle again in the future!”

“If you want to leave your furry friend(s) with folks that will treat him/her/them like one of the family reach out to Ann & Jaren! This was our first time ever boarding our dog, Opal. The experience could not have gone better. The initial meeting with Jaren, drop off, communication during the week, and pick up was AMAZING! We received pictures and videos of her playing and being cuddled. We could tell Opal was having a blast with her new friends, which allowed us to relax with no worries. We will definitely be using them again in the future.”

“Debbie was marvelous! We were a little nervous as our Abbey is a 13 year-old 3-pound chihuahua who is almost blind and Ghirardelli is a 6-pound bouncy poodle. Debbie has four dogs of her own. Two are huge boyzois! No worries-all four of her fur babies were very, very sweet! Debbie cuddled Abbey and our babies slept with her grandson which they absolutely loved!!! We got pics and updates every day. Debbie even waited up for our late flight so that we could get our babies as soon as we got back home. Best puppy B&B ever!!! We will be back, Debbie.”

“Kharen was a wonderful dog sitter for Molly. She sent messages and photos several times every day, so I could see that Molly was doing fine. I would recommend her to others looking for boarding for their dogs, and I will use her again.”

“Boomer had the best time while staying with KaLynn. She sent lots of pictures showing all of Boomer's buddies during his stay, and KaLynn even had a birthday party for one of dogs. This is Boomer's second time of being with KaLynn, and I plan on sticking with her in the future!”

“Jennifer is an amazing sitter! She was so attentive to our dogs needs and we felt so comfortable leaving him for the weekend. She updated us with pictures and messages letting us know what was happening. We will definitely be asking her to watch Ash again. I cannot recommend anyone more!”

“I was a little anxious about leaving my 7-year-old dog with a non-family member for the first time in his life - and for six days at that - but Diane is great and made me feel at ease with it all. She's a retired school teacher and administrator with a big fenced yard in a very quiet neighborhood, and she kept me posted with regular communications over the six days. My dog had a great time with Diane and June (her dog), and I will DEFINITELY book Diane for future out-of-town trips whenever she's available. I could not imagine a better dog-sitter.”

“They took great care and attention to my Shiloh during her stay with them. A couple of walks a day. Lots of pics updates! Easy communicating with them. Shiloh thoroughly enjoyed her stay and will definitely be back...💜”

“Great experience. Lisa kept us up-to-date and informed daily. Really enjoyed the easy process and she asked lots of relevant questions about our pup prior to drop off. Highly recommended.”

“I hesitate to leave a review for Laura lest she become so popular that she’s unable to care for my dog. Laura was born to work with animals. She was fully beamed in to Rigatoni’s needs and moods and he came home happy and relaxed. Laura kept me updated on how Rigs spent his days and sent many photos. I’ve been using Rover for years and Laura is far and away the best pet sitter I’ve ever found.”

“Our dog Stevie tends to be an anxious baby, but Ryan has a great home filled with distractions and fun so she doesn’t get too anxious! It’s a relief knowing she can stay somewhere she is comfortable while we are gone. Thanks Ryan!”

“Sunny Boy had a wonderful experience staying with Laura and Bill. He had so much fun running land with doggie pals, long walks to the park and getting lots of attention from both of them. They were eager to get started, met us both in advance and asked great questions. They are truly dog lovers!”

“Alison was great. Yoshi very much enjoyed his stay and I don't think he missed us very much. I loved the pictures of Yoshi having a fun time. It made my trip even more relaxed and not having to worry if Yoshi was getting along with everyone. But he's a love bug and nosy. Thank you so much for taking care of my fur baby!”

“Jessie was well cared for and the updates and pictures showed a happy girl. Charlene has a great set up and perfect for my girl. Highly recommend her amd look forward to using her again”

“It was so nice to have Buttercup stay with Marie this past week! She kept my mind at ease with lots of pictures of my dog playing with Doug the Pug all week. I love that she only has one client in her house at a time. She is very reliable and took great care of my Butters!”

“Lindsey was fantastic and I'm so glad I found her. She was conveniently located just off of Long Shoals and 26. Once we met I felt like I could breathe with ease - I trusted her from the outset. She's sweet, smart and responsible, and has the cutest dog herself and Gracie took to him without even the slightest hesitation, which is unique for her. During the time Lindsey was great with communication and sent photos that made me smile. So yes, I'll be asking Lindsey again, especially whenever I take trips south from Asheville -- for sure.”

“Richard was watching my puppy when hurricane Helene hit. Despite the chaos and crisis he stayed in communication as best he could and kept her safe the entire time I was gone. Words can’t express my gratitude. Aside from that, he was very accommodating of her puppy needs and took great care of her.”

Horse Shoe dog parents share their Rover experiences
We had a short notice travel need and needed care for our 10 week old puppy. Gabe with Rover gave our puppy excellent care during our 3 days away. His house is very dog friendly and he was with our pup almost 24/7! And reinforced the puppy training we had started. Would definitely recommend him for any of your pet care needs. Trish and Tom

Maria was so good with my senior (16 year old) husky. He was fast asleep when we got home, so I know he had a great time. He requires meds, cbd and a little more in-depth food routine and she had zero complaints about any of it. Really grateful for the love both her and her daughter gave him.
