About: My name is Brooke and I’m looking for Dog walking/Pet sitting clients close to the Malta area! I moved into the Grandeville apartments about a month ago, so preference to anyone that lives in these apartments or anywhere within a 10-15 minute drive! I’m a transplant from Philly so I’m currently working a few at-home jobs, which makes my availability completely open for your pet-sitting needs. I’ve lived with dogs my entire life and I’ve had experience with dogs from puppies, to elders, small 5 lb breeds to Great Danes, couch potatoes to super active. I’ve also watched dogs who needed special training or who had special needs (like seizures.) I have no breed or size restrictions. I do walks, drop in visits, boarding, and staying within your home. I do prefer repeat clients over one-off sessions but contact me if you have any questions! I am currently working from home running a small business! So I have open availability for your pet. I do not have my own dog at the moment, so all of my pet-loving energy is going towards yours! With dog walking, I prefer times between 9am and 10pm. I have an apartment in a complex that is incredibly pet friendly, with a fenced in dog park and dog washing station. I try my hardest to make sure that pets are comfortable in my home. In your home, I try to make sure that I communicate with you as much as possible, to make sure that you feel safe with me in your home and taking care of your pet!

About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.

About: Growing up with dogs and taking care of the neighborhood dogs I'm no stranger to the amount of attention a fur baby needs. With a BA in Zoology and over 3 years of professional care with dogs I can't wait to meet your family! “Abby is terrific: Smart, reliable, professional, and knowledgeable about many types of animals. Ours were special needs in that they were BUNNIES, and it was so great to learn that Abby is studying to become a vet specializing in exotic animals (like rabbits). When we did the initial meet and greet, the buns were sooo relaxed with her. They're typically a bit skittish around strangers, but they couldn't stop yawning in her presence, lol. She was very loving and attentive, too, and we really appreciated the peace of mind she gave us on our recent trip.”

About: Hello folks, I am an experienced animal caretaker with a background in fostering pets. I have cared for dogs, cats, other domestic pets, and farm animals. About: I’ve always took a liking to animals and always had postive bonds with them. Over the years of growing up my grandfather owned several big dogs and cats. While others would shy away, not me I always helped out and didn’t mind watching them. I currently run an online business which has allowed me to have so much time for my daily clients. Due to my freedom I’m able to provide walks as often as every two hours or less for my puppies. I also get to spend my days cuddled up with my temporary babies. Caring for any pet at my home or others will be very similar I will need to know any notes and any restrictions for me and the dog. As I would give them my complete attention so that it’s a little vacation for them as well as subtracting feeling neglected.

Also have a runner that spans the length of the yard that allows her freedoms when it’s time to do something other than potty. Prefer a harness + leash combination over your standard leash to collar connection but will use whichever method you ask of me for your pet

About: Growing up i've always been surrounded by animals which really sparked my love for all animals. And since i was 12 i've pet sat for neighbors and family members, then at 16 i started working at a doggie daycare/boarding facility until i was 18 and then went on to work at an animal shelter for a little less than 2 years!
