“So grateful for Lucas and the excellent care he took of Thunder while housesitting for us! He sent lots of photos and we were reassured he was taking great care of Thunder & holding down the fort. I don’t think Thunder missed us at all because of all the attention he got. Will definitely hire Lucas again!! Thanks again!”

She looks out for their well-being just as she does to her daughter. She is a very responsible individual who takes her job seriously and works hard to be the best she can at whatever she does. About: I have had a genuine love for animals since I was a kid. Pets are family and I want to provide care for them when their parents can't. I am focused on pet walking, feeding, and afternoon play time through the week. I get off at 3pm and can do house calls until 5pm. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday I am pretty open. I will come to you and keep your pets safe in the environment they are most comfortable and the walking routes they know and love.
10. Samantha & Jesse B.
About: My husband, Jesse, and I love our dogs like family and we will love yours like family as well. We are the trusted home of many family members pets. We know it’s can be difficult to find good care for your dogs while you are away and want to be a home away from home for them. We have a dog who current experience seizures so we have some experience in special care and we know the importance of providing the extra care and attention to ensure a safe and healthy dog. We also have a wonderful fenced in backyard with plenty of room for your pet to stretch their legs and can provide a 30 min on leash neighborhood walk as well. We do crate at nighttime for the safety of the dogs. Currently work full time but have weekends available. Due to distance from home to work, only dog accustomed to long periods (8 hours) can be hosted on a week day. Don’t want to add any additional stress to your pet while you are away by adding unrealistic time in a crate. Due to work schedule, responsibilities at home (children and pets), multiple Rover requests with same times, I do have a 30-60 min window on drop in times but we will attempt to stick as closely to the requested time as possible. We have a large fenced in backyard and 3 dogs who can keep your puppy company. We do have small children who love pets so we would like to host dogs who do well with kiddos.

About: Growing up, I was a part of a program called Human Animal Bonding in Colorado, where I was taught how to connect top dogs emotionally, socially and verbally and use those skills to apply to real life situations, breaking me out of my social, insecure, neurodivergent shell. I've grown up with six big terriers, so I know my way around big, cuddly, dogs. My best friend is a German Shepherd named Ziva. I currently work part-time shifts that can go from 8-2, or 11-3, or 11-2. I am trying to start some extra hours, but outside of work, I wish to pursue my dog-loving passions and possibly turn it into a career, and I hope starting Rover will do that. I take care of big dogs, numerous cats, and six other types of animals at home, so I can't have other animals at home due to the unfamiliarity. I am looking for extra activities, ones that consists outside of work and home because that's all where I am ever at these days. I just moved to Missouri, and I hope to find show the love I have for animals to places beyond my home. I have all kinds of necessary dog accommodations. I have crates if needed, toys, extra food, leashes, etc. In my home, I have two big dogs who are trained to stay on 30 acres of property, they co-exist with barn cats and other various animals. Because of the other critters on the land, I do have to let them outside every time I leave the house. I had a dog that received special medical treatment every day and had to be watched regularly as he grew mean and tiredsome due to his deteriorating health. Fortunately, he is in a better place, but it shows that I can manage and care for dogs all of different behaviors and necessities and if I can use some of that stuff for other dogs, I've love to.
18. Matthew W.
“Matthew was very helpful and accommodating during a longer term care for our pets. We really appreciated his flexibility and leaving our house straightened up.”
19. Megan W.
“Megan has dog sat for my two dogs multiple times and she takes really good care of them. They are spoiled, loved and get along with her dogs so easily. She also has many treats, toys and a fenced in back yard which is great for my dogs to be able to have fun and run around. She also is really flexible with pickups and my dogs adore her. They always get so excited when we pull up to her house. I would choose her over anyone else to watch my dogs every-time.”
20. Madison F.
“Madison was great ! Madison treated them like they were her own. The house was spotless! We are already booking her again.”
