“Isabella did amazing with all my babies! Willow my Great Dane absolutely loves her. Gizmo my anxious little Yorkie is so calm with her and doesn't care that I'm gone when she's there. She also took care of my bouncy kitty Jazzy and kept her busy and out of trouble. I would absolutely hire her again in a heartbeat!”

“Elizabeth took good care of our senior dogs, one of which needs medication. She housesat so the dogs could stay home while we were away which was beneficial to them rather than having to be boarded or left alone for long periods. I highly recommend her.”

“Liane was very accommodating on short notice and great with my pets. She made sure my pets felt comfortable in their own home and took time to give me updates. I will recommend and book with her again in the future. :)”

“Janae saved us by last minute being available for a long trip when our original plans cancelled on us. She house sat and watched our dog and two cats while also helping out with trash and mail. Janae helped us have peace of mind while we were abroad and we felt comfortable knowing she was at home watching our fur babies. Would definitely book Janae again in the future!”

“Michelle was wonderful. She took wonderful care of our two cats. She sent pictures and updates. I feel confident that when we go on future trips for longer periods of time that Michelle will always be our first choice!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and currently care for my own pets, including a Great Dane, so I’m very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I understand that every pet has different needs, whether that’s high energy playtime, slow walks for senior dogs, sticking to feeding and medication schedules, or simply giving them extra attention and comfort while their owners are away. I pride myself on being reliable, patient, and attentive to details so pet parents can feel confident their pets are safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m also comfortable with basic puppy routines, reinforcing good habits, and providing calm, gentle care for anxious or older pets. My goal is always to make pets feel as comfortable and at home as possible. I currently work full-time Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, but I do have an hour lunch break each day. For pets local to the Jefferson City area, I’m often available during lunch for potty breaks, walks, feeding, medication, check-ins, or just some extra love and attention during the day. Outside of work hours, I’m available mornings, evenings, and weekends for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care depending on availability. I always do my best to keep pets on their normal routine and make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I do my best to make both pets and owners feel comfortable, informed, and at ease. I’m happy to provide updates, photos, and communication throughout each stay or visit. 🏡 Boarding your pet: I do have two friendly and playful dogs of my own — a Great Dane and a Goldendoodle — along with 3 cats that mostly keep to themselves. Because of this, I always like to make sure personalities and temperaments are a good fit for everyone’s safety and comfort. I also completely understand that not every pet is comfortable around other animals, and that’s okay! I have a partially finished basement that allows pets to be safely separated if needed while still being comfortable and cared for. My goal is always to create a safe, low-stress environment where your pet feels at home. 🐾 Pet sitting and drop-in visits in your home: I know many pets feel most comfortable in their own environment, so I do my best to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. Whether it’s feeding, potty breaks, playtime, medications, or simply providing companionship, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and loved while you’re away. 🚶♀️ Dog walks: Safety is always my biggest priority during walks. I pay close attention to leash security, surroundings, weather conditions, and your dog’s comfort level to make sure they have a safe, enjoyable, and enriching walk every tim

About: I've had pets my entire life, and I love getting to interact with animals of all kinds. I've helped take care of a few family cats and dogs over the years, with the most recent being my mom's dog Athena. I've spent many nights over to watch her while my mom has to be away. I work a full time job at a nursing home, with a slightly strange schedule. I'm off every other weekend and each week switches between me being off on Tuesday or Thursday. It depends on the pet. I've had to deal with a very stubborn dog, and escape artist, and a few other interesting personalities. Each one has to be cared for in slightly different ways. It also depends on the rules set by the owners. I don't want to do something that would go against what an owner has taught their pet unless it was abusive.
About: I’ve had dogs and cats ever since I was a kid, and have always loved looking after them! I have also had experience in pet sitting for several people over the years! My experience includes cats and dogs, both big and small! I also have experience in administering medication to animals including injections and pills. I work a typically “8-5” job, allowing me time in the morning as well as plenty of time in the evening so I will have plenty of time to care for your fur babies. I currently have two dogs and two cats in my home. We do have a large yard, which my dogs love playing fetch in! However, it is not fenced in.
About: • 3 years as veterinary assistant • 1.5 years as a kennel tech for boarding • 3 years as an equine handler for youth pony rides • 6 months shadowing professional dog trainers • Enrolled in Animal Sciences at MU with pre-admission to MU College of Veterinary Medicine Despite the many years I have dedicated to animal care, my passion only grows. My experience in veterinary medicine has provided me the knowledge and confidence to recognize and handle emergencies effectively. Through the years I have collected helpful advice on pet behavior, pet health, and handling that I am always happy to share. I am comfortable handling and providing care to dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, and some exotics. I have always been recognized for my strong work ethic, and consider your pet’s health a top priority! I am currently working part-time in addition to being a full-time student. Weekends are perfect for me to care for your pet, however I can make some weekdays work as needed. In my client’s homes I am comfortable conducting any routine no matter how specific as I understand the complex needs of every pet. I am very thorough with directions, and have extensive experience medicating animals and handling emergencies.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life, always thought about being a vet but it never happened. I am in the medical field, I just help humans instead. I believe dogs are the most loyal animal you could have I your home. The love they give is unmatched, no judgment on us humans, they love us unconditionally. I’m currently not working due to the pandemic, I’m home all day taking care of my dog. I have time for your fur baby all day. I have a house with a fenced yard. I live in a great area as well. I have a fenced yard that’s a decent size. I let my dog out several times a day, sometimes we take car rides. I rarely use a kennel but if your pet is not house trained or can get destructive, I would recommend you bring a crate in the event I have to run to the store or something.
About: As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family member. I’ve always been hesitant to leave my own pets at a boarding facility, so I understand the peace of mind that comes from knowing they’re receiving plenty of love, attention, and personalized care in a home environment. Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I have experience caring for dogs, cats, ferrets, and other small pets. Whether your pet loves playtime, cuddles, long walks, or simply having a companion nearby, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I am a full time Ultrasound Tech. My work hours are 7-5:30 and off on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. My husband gets home at 5PM and is able to help with care as well! Weekend trips are perfect for me but if you need care through the week, it still works! I have a corgi and 2 kids ages 3 and 6! I also have two cats but they can be separated from the dogs easily if your dog hates cats! (the cats have the whole finished basement) I have a large yard for your babies to run around if they are trained to come when called. If not, I have no issues bringing them outside on a leash!
About: My husband, Jesse, and I love our dogs like family and we will love yours like family as well. We are the trusted home of many family members’ pets. We know it can be difficult to find good care for your dogs while you are away, and would love to be their home away from home. We have 2 dogs who currently experience seizures so we have some experience in special care, and know the importance of providing the extra care and attention to ensure a safe and healthy dog. We also have a wonderful fenced in backyard with plenty of room for your pet to stretch their legs and can provide a 30 min on leash neighborhood walk as well. We do crate at nighttime for the safety of the dogs. Due to work schedule, responsibilities at home (children and pets), multiple Rover requests with same times, I do have a 30-60 min window on drop in times but we will attempt to stick as closely to the requested time as possible. We do offer 15 min drop ins for a reduced price- just ask us about it! We have a large fenced in backyard and 3 dogs who can keep your puppy company. We do have small children who love pets so we would like to host dogs who do well with kiddos.

“Lucas was attentive and communicative. He kept us informed the entire weekend of what was goin on. I really appreciate his energy and would love to have him housesit again for our 4 pets. Thanks!!”

“Tracey did a great job with our two fur babies. She was on time for arrival time and very communicative throughout the stay with updates. If she left she’d let me know but would also be sure to take care of the dogs right before she left and was never gone for too long or excessive. We have an elder dog and a younger dog full of energy. She connected well with both of them. She played fetch with them and did a great job sticking to their schedule even if it meant getting up at 4am when our older dog needed to potty. She paid attention to all the little details we talked about with their care instructions during the meet and greet. She was flexible with the stay as our travels home ended up taking us less time to travel back home. The house was the way we left it when we got home. The dog seemed comfortable and happy and not stressed from us being away. She is a true gem and we plan to book her for multiple other planned trips in our future.”
