About: Pets have been a part of my life ever since I can remember, and their welfare is of utmost importance to me. From farm animals to domestic animals, I treat your best friends as I would treat my own. Experienced in senior care and puppy care as well as cats and feral cats. Have volunteered at a shelter with bathing, walking, and cleaning kennels as well as boarding dogs for friends. My availability is open depending on your needs and logistics for dog walking and drop ins. Prefer if walking the dog in the community earlier morning hours or later afternoon hours to avoid the heat. For dropping by, anytime of the day can work. I service the Eldon, Missouri, area to the eastside of Jefferson City, Missouri. Trips to the Taos, Missouri, dog park can be arranged. About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a house full of family dogs and cats as well as some guinea pigs. Throughout my childhood I spent years volunteering at my Father's veterinary clinic, where I learned how to safely handle animals, recognize behavior cues, support stressed and sick pets, and assist with daily animal care routines. That experience gave me a strong understanding of animal health, patience, and the importance of building trust with each pet individually. In college I had the privilege to work as an Animal Ambassador Educator at the Sunset Zoo, where I cared for and handled a variety of animals while also teaching others about animal behavior, enrichment, and welfare through our ambassador animals. I also spent time working in a doggie daycare facility. This gave me experience supervising multiple dogs at once, understanding play styles and social behaviors, providing enriching activities, all while maintaining safe and structured care. What sets me apart is my combination of professional experience, education, and genuine love for all animals. I’m comfortable and confident with pets of different ages, sizes, temperaments, and energy levels, including senior pets, shy animals, energetic pets, and those who need extra patience or routine consistency. I pay close attention to body language and behavior cues so pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. As a teacher, I’m attentive, organized, and communicative. I understand how important it is for pet owners to trust those caring for their furry family members. I treat every pet with the same care and love I would want for my own fur babies. As a high school teacher, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time and attention to each pet throughout the week and on weekends, especially during the summer months. During the school year, I’m available most mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends for visits, walks, feedings, playtime, and more. My schedule allows me to be dependable, communicative, and consistent so pets can maintain their normal routines and feel taken care for. I believe pets are happiest and most comfortable when they can stay in their familiar environment and routine. Because of that, I focus on providing attentive care in my clients’ homes through drop in visits, walks, playtime, enrichment, feeding, medication support if needed, and quality time. Safety and trust are extremely important to me. With my background in veterinary, zoo, and daycare settings, I’m experienced in reading animal behavior, recognizing stress signals, and adapting care to each pet’s individual needs and personality. I always prioritize secure handling, clean environments, routine consistency, and clear communication with owners. I also love keeping pets mentally and physically active. If desired, I’m happy to provide enrichment activities, outdoor adventures, walks, park visits, or extra exercise tailored to your pet’s energy level and comfort. My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and currently care for my own pets, including a Great Dane, so I’m very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I understand that every pet has different needs, whether that’s high energy playtime, slow walks for senior dogs, sticking to feeding and medication schedules, or simply giving them extra attention and comfort while their owners are away. I pride myself on being reliable, patient, and attentive to details so pet parents can feel confident their pets are safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m also comfortable with basic puppy routines, reinforcing good habits, and providing calm, gentle care for anxious or older pets. My goal is always to make pets feel as comfortable and at home as possible. I currently work full-time Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, but I do have an hour lunch break each day. For pets local to the Jefferson City area, I’m often available during lunch for potty breaks, walks, feeding, medication, check-ins, or just some extra love and attention during the day. Outside of work hours, I’m available mornings, evenings, and weekends for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care depending on availability. I always do my best to keep pets on their normal routine and make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I do my best to make both pets and owners feel comfortable, informed, and at ease. I’m happy to provide updates, photos, and communication throughout each stay or visit. 🏡 Boarding your pet: I do have two friendly and playful dogs of my own — a Great Dane and a Goldendoodle — along with 3 cats that mostly keep to themselves. Because of this, I always like to make sure personalities and temperaments are a good fit for everyone’s safety and comfort. I also completely understand that not every pet is comfortable around other animals, and that’s okay! I have a partially finished basement that allows pets to be safely separated if needed while still being comfortable and cared for. My goal is always to create a safe, low-stress environment where your pet feels at home. 🐾 Pet sitting and drop-in visits in your home: I know many pets feel most comfortable in their own environment, so I do my best to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. About: I've had pets my entire life, and I love getting to interact with animals of all kinds. I've helped take care of a few family cats and dogs over the years, with the most recent being my mom's dog Athena. I've spent many nights over to watch her while my mom has to be away. I work a full time job at a nursing home, with a slightly strange schedule. I'm off every other weekend and each week switches between me being off on Tuesday or Thursday. It depends on the pet. I've had to deal with a very stubborn dog, and escape artist, and a few other interesting personalities. Each one has to be cared for in slightly different ways. It also depends on the rules set by the owners. I don't want to do something that would go against what an owner has taught their pet unless it was abusive.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life, always thought about being a vet but it never happened. I am in the medical field, I just help humans instead. I believe dogs are the most loyal animal you could have I your home. The love they give is unmatched, no judgment on us humans, they love us unconditionally. I’m currently not working due to the pandemic, I’m home all day taking care of my dog. I have time for your fur baby all day. I have a house with a fenced yard. I live in a great area as well. I have a fenced yard that’s a decent size. I let my dog out several times a day, sometimes we take car rides. I rarely use a kennel but if your pet is not house trained or can get destructive, I would recommend you bring a crate in the event I have to run to the store or something.

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a child. I am currently in college to become a certified veterinary technician. I have veterinary medicine training and can spot health problems right away. I have administered medicine and given medication orally. I have open availability through out the week when I work so your furry friends will always have someone at home to take care of there needs. I have a small fenced in part of my yard. No animal is left unattended and is always safe in my care. I always go out of my way to make my home feel like there own.

About: I grew up with numerous pets; cats, dogs, hamsters, and even a sugar glider. I love animals and the playful energy they bring! I am used to caring for multiple animals at once and have no issues doing so! I’m currently a full-time college student. I am available on the weekends and in the early morning/late evenings during the week. I enjoy running and being active so I’d love to have a furry friend to accompany me! I currently live in a townhome with a large unfenced yard that faces the woods. I can easily crate if needed and I am very active so active dogs are welcome!
