About: I've had pets my entire life, and I love getting to interact with animals of all kinds. I've helped take care of a few family cats and dogs over the years, with the most recent being my mom's dog Athena. I've spent many nights over to watch her while my mom has to be away. I work a full time job at a nursing home, with a slightly strange schedule. I'm off every other weekend and each week switches between me being off on Tuesday or Thursday. It depends on the pet. I've had to deal with a very stubborn dog, and escape artist, and a few other interesting personalities. Each one has to be cared for in slightly different ways. It also depends on the rules set by the owners. I don't want to do something that would go against what an owner has taught their pet unless it was abusive.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and currently care for my own pets, including a Great Dane, so I’m very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I understand that every pet has different needs, whether that’s high energy playtime, slow walks for senior dogs, sticking to feeding and medication schedules, or simply giving them extra attention and comfort while their owners are away. I pride myself on being reliable, patient, and attentive to details so pet parents can feel confident their pets are safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m also comfortable with basic puppy routines, reinforcing good habits, and providing calm, gentle care for anxious or older pets. My goal is always to make pets feel as comfortable and at home as possible. I currently work full-time Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, but I do have an hour lunch break each day. For pets local to the Jefferson City area, I’m often available during lunch for potty breaks, walks, feeding, medication, check-ins, or just some extra love and attention during the day. Outside of work hours, I’m available mornings, evenings, and weekends for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care depending on availability. I always do my best to keep pets on their normal routine and make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I do my best to make both pets and owners feel comfortable, informed, and at ease. I’m happy to provide updates, photos, and communication throughout each stay or visit. 🏡 Boarding your pet: I do have two friendly and playful dogs of my own — a Great Dane and a Goldendoodle — along with 3 cats that mostly keep to themselves. Because of this, I always like to make sure personalities and temperaments are a good fit for everyone’s safety and comfort. I also completely understand that not every pet is comfortable around other animals, and that’s okay! I have a partially finished basement that allows pets to be safely separated if needed while still being comfortable and cared for. About: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life, always thought about being a vet but it never happened. I am in the medical field, I just help humans instead. I believe dogs are the most loyal animal you could have I your home. The love they give is unmatched, no judgment on us humans, they love us unconditionally. I’m currently not working due to the pandemic, I’m home all day taking care of my dog. I have time for your fur baby all day. I have a house with a fenced yard. I live in a great area as well. I have a fenced yard that’s a decent size. I let my dog out several times a day, sometimes we take car rides. I rarely use a kennel but if your pet is not house trained or can get destructive, I would recommend you bring a crate in the event I have to run to the store or something.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats ever since I was a kid, and have always loved looking after them! I have also had experience in pet sitting for several people over the years! My experience includes cats and dogs, both big and small! I also have experience in administering medication to animals including injections and pills. I work a typically “8-5” job, allowing me time in the morning as well as plenty of time in the evening so I will have plenty of time to care for your fur babies. I currently have two dogs and two cats in my home. We do have a large yard, which my dogs love playing fetch in! However, it is not fenced in.

My husband and I are helicopter parents about our babies who have very specific and different needs including our boy cat who needs to be medicated and is a very picky eater. Lucas sent us very frequent updates on the state of our cat's appetite and how things were going. In the past, we have come home to find our cat has either lost weight or has liquid medication smeared on his fur from medication difficulties. When we came home our boy cat looked the best he's ever looked after such a long stay with a house sitter. We can tell our cats felt very at home and comfortable with Lucas. The house looks great, very clean and exactly how we left it. All and all, among the best rover experiences we've had! About: My husband, Jesse, and I love our dogs like family and we will love yours like family as well. We are the trusted home of many family members’ pets. We know it can be difficult to find good care for your dogs while you are away, and would love to be their home away from home. We have 2 dogs who currently experience seizures so we have some experience in special care, and know the importance of providing the extra care and attention to ensure a safe and healthy dog. We also have a wonderful fenced in backyard with plenty of room for your pet to stretch their legs and can provide a 30 min on leash neighborhood walk as well. We do crate at nighttime for the safety of the dogs. Due to work schedule, responsibilities at home (children and pets), multiple Rover requests with same times, I do have a 30-60 min window on drop in times but we will attempt to stick as closely to the requested time as possible. We do offer 15 min drop ins for a reduced price- just ask us about it! We have a large fenced in backyard and 3 dogs who can keep your puppy company. We do have small children who love pets so we would like to host dogs who do well with kiddos.

I am a full time Ultrasound Tech. My work hours are 7-5:30 and off on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. My husband gets home at 5PM and is able to help with care as well! Weekend trips are perfect for me but if you need care through the week, it still works! I have a corgi and 2 kids ages 3 and 6! I also have two cats but they can be separated from the dogs easily if your dog hates cats! (the cats have the whole finished basement) I have a large yard for your babies to run around if they are trained to come when called. If not, I have no issues bringing them outside on a leash!
