“I hate to be honest here. For fear that Kate and Ken will not be available when we need them in the future. They were so attentive to Tripp. Their dogs and our dog played so much. I received pictures and videos daily showing the smile on his face. We don’t have a yard as big as theirs. Or other dogs for him to play with. So this was a real treat for him. They understand our dog’s communication style. Let him be a dog. Play like a puppy. But also balanced it with the guidance and directions he is used to. Both Ken and Kelly were exactly what we hoped for when we signed up for care. We drove 40 minutes to drop him off and pick him up. Both my husband and I believe it is worth it. Previously Tripp had been boarded at a kennel. I started using Rover in hopes that he would get more interaction with dogs and humans while we were gone. Boy! Did Ken and Kelly do that! About: I ran a prison dog rescue and training program. We rehabilitated dogs from puppy mills, rescue groups and shelters. We also did grooming services for the dogs. I'm retired. My schedule is wide open. I have time to devote to taking care of customers pets. I have always had a affinity for taking care of animals. About: Cats have always been my favorite pet to own. Having one ever since I can remember. Cleaning litter boxes and any cat mess is part of my system. Owning two cats of my own. I can provide a couple of toys to bring, or play using your toys. Feeding and watering the cat. Any special requirement is never too big to keep the cat happy as can be. Even if the cat can be grumpy, I’m patient and won’t make the cat uncomfortable or more upset.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life, always thought about being a vet but it never happened. I am in the medical field, I just help humans instead. I believe dogs are the most loyal animal you could have I your home. The love they give is unmatched, no judgment on us humans, they love us unconditionally. I’m currently not working due to the pandemic, I’m home all day taking care of my dog. I have time for your fur baby all day. I have a house with a fenced yard. I live in a great area as well. I have a fenced yard that’s a decent size. I let my dog out several times a day, sometimes we take car rides. I rarely use a kennel but if your pet is not house trained or can get destructive, I would recommend you bring a crate in the event I have to run to the store or something.
About: I think that life is about being happy and animals of all shapes and sizes make me happy! I have had multiple pets all of my life, from bearded dragons and snails to cats and dogs but now I have settled with my older toy rat terrier pup and my fat orange cat! I was able to achieve my pet first aid certification through the American Red Cross but it since expired (they are valid for one year) but I thought it was worth mentioning that I have been trained. I work in Columbia M-F but live in Holts Summit, MO. I am willing to work in Columbia, Jefferson City or Holts Summit. I’m working full time but can do check-ins/walks during my lunch break, before 8am or after 5pm on weekdays. Weekends are much more flexible as I don’t work on Saturdays or Sundays. I am comfortable with crate training and of course fenced in yards are great! I have no issues with walking pups on a leash. I live in Holts Summit where we have a leash law so leash and a decent harness would be required for stays with me. I have a huge yard to walk them around in!

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a child. I am currently in college to become a certified veterinary technician. I have veterinary medicine training and can spot health problems right away. I have administered medicine and given medication orally. “Christine, and her dog Daisy, make Fawn's day each Tuesday. Fawn loves going there and absolutely goes bonkers when we pull up to their house. But today, Christine went above and beyond for me. My car told me I had a low tire. And it was really low. I told her my husband would be there to air it up. She jumped in and got an air compressor from her garage and aired my tire. I was able to get home safely and my husband did not have to drive in to do that for me. I highly recommend Christine if you are looking for play dates for your pup. And Daisy loves having friends over.”
About: I have worked been around and worked with cats and dogs for my entire life. About: Moe’s Place is a small in home dog boarding facility. I provide one on one care as well as exit baths. Moe’s Place has commercial kennels indoors and outdoors so they can stay outside when the days are nice. There is a large fenced in play area, but only dogs who come together play together. I make sure every dog is given some additional time to be treated like family. We turn our pups out in the morning before feeding, around noon and early afternoon. We also ensure your pup has time to go out before bed. We live here so it makes it very convenient to ensure your family member is getting the best care. We have lots of open time and play time. If your pup decides they would rather play indoors, we have an indoor play area also.

Our wedding venue allowed for our doggie to be present at the ceremony (she walked the aisle in a flower collar and pearl leash :)!) but not reception, and so we needed not only a dog sitter but one who would be willing to pick up our girl from the wedding venue! About: I have been a Farm Caretaker for over 5 years. I have extensive experience caring for dogs, cats, bunnies, goats & chickens, and limited experience caring for horses. I am comfortable administering various medicines and trimming goat hooves. I have a 9yr old Aussy Shepherd Service Animal, who is my best friend and who I also trained myself. Another morning in the life:) Daily, I play fetch with my dog son in our spacious back yard. We also take walks in the neighborhood & the park nearby. Kitty gets outdoor time at her request each day. Bunny enjoys free-roaming the house each day. All of our animals co-exist in peace, & even playfulness:) I respect & adhere to systems you may have in place to keep peace & balance:)

About: I have grown up with Dogs and Cats my whole life. I have also pet/house sat for family and friends through middle school, high school and now college. I have/had many dogs and cats who have been/are massive parts of our family. 4 German Shepherds, Apache, Zoom, Ranger and Camo. 1 Husky Cherokee and 2 Australian Shepherds Banjo and Max. I have taken pride in self training my dogs to be good K-9 citizens. Ex: “Sit”, “Waite”, “Down”, “Leave it” and not jumping. Some of my favorite activities with dogs are walking/running, brushing/baths, playing with toys/wrestling, snuggles, driving around and a snack never hurt anyone! :) As for cats I’ve had/have 4 (Dizzy, Yoyo, Bast and now Tiffany!) My favorite activities with kitties are playing with the string toy, brushing, giving treats and snuggling while reading/watching Tv/doing Homework. Of course I love watching them get the zooms! :) I am a full time college student with MIZZOU Army ROTC. During the summers I’m available most days/nights and weekends. As for the school year I’m pretty open as well. We will have to communicate and see what works best for everyone at that time. I was raised to hold myself to high standards and values some of these values are summed up best by the Army values, Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selflessness Service, Honor, Integrity and Personal Courage. I believe you need all of these to not only be the best version of yourself but pull the best out of others, person or paw. I care for my pets by making them an important part of my life! I love to be active and take my dog on runs/walks and play. As for my cat when I’m doing Homework or relaxing after a long day she likes to snuggle me or play with her toys. My pets are my family, team and life. I keep them safe by keeping them in active parts of my life, researching the food they eat and have a great relationship with there vet!
About: Pets have been a part of my life ever since I can remember, and their welfare is of utmost importance to me. From farm animals to domestic animals, I treat your best friends as I would treat my own. Experienced in senior care and puppy care as well as cats and feral cats. Have volunteered at a shelter with bathing, walking, and cleaning kennels as well as boarding dogs for friends. My availability is open depending on your needs and logistics for dog walking and drop ins. Prefer if walking the dog in the community earlier morning hours or later afternoon hours to avoid the heat. For dropping by, anytime of the day can work. “I hate to be honest here. For fear that Kate and Ken will not be available when we need them in the future. They were so attentive to Tripp. Their dogs and our dog played so much. I received pictures and videos daily showing the smile on his face. We don’t have a yard as big as theirs. Or other dogs for him to play with. So this was a real treat for him. They understand our dog’s communication style. Let him be a dog. Play like a puppy. But also balanced it with the guidance and directions he is used to. Both Ken and Kelly were exactly what we hoped for when we signed up for care. We drove 40 minutes to drop him off and pick him up. Both my husband and I believe it is worth it. Previously Tripp had been boarded at a kennel. I started using Rover in hopes that he would get more interaction with dogs and humans while we were gone. Boy! Did Ken and Kelly do that! About: I have grown up around and loved pets since I was 7 years old! Many parts of my childhood I grew up with 5 dogs, but we just recently got our first cat. My partner is also an animal lover and grew up with multiple pets his entire life (his mom is a veterinarian!). We now have a 6 month old dachshund, Clover, and a cat, Stella Dallas! We are students so we have really relaxed schedules, and spend a lot of our time working from home. We live in a house that has a large privacy fence with a perfect sized backyard. We joined Rover to share our love with your animals! 🥰🐾 My partner and I are both students and I work a remote job. We spend a lot of our time not in class at home with our animals! I have a fenced in yard with a privacy fence. My dog Clover will keep your dog company as she loves to play with all of her cousins! Clover is crate trained so I have experience with that, but I don’t mind if your dog is not! I spend a lot of my time at home so your pup or cat will always be getting attention and the love they deserve while you’re away! :)
