“Kelly and her husband are a treasure! They were so gracious about accepting a boarding request that was very last minute and they were even more gracious about my activity running late. Both the dogs were very well taken care of, even the senior one who is a bit spoiled at home! They were relaxed and content when they got picked up. I would absolutely make use of Kelly’s services again and would enthusiastically recommend her to anyone I know. It’s can be nerve racking to leave your dogs with someone you don’t know, but Kelly instantly had me completely at ease. About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and currently care for my own pets, including a Great Dane, so I’m very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I understand that every pet has different needs, whether that’s high energy playtime, slow walks for senior dogs, sticking to feeding and medication schedules, or simply giving them extra attention and comfort while their owners are away. I pride myself on being reliable, patient, and attentive to details so pet parents can feel confident their pets are safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m also comfortable with basic puppy routines, reinforcing good habits, and providing calm, gentle care for anxious or older pets. My goal is always to make pets feel as comfortable and at home as possible. I currently work full-time Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, but I do have an hour lunch break each day. For pets local to the Jefferson City area, I’m often available during lunch for potty breaks, walks, feeding, medication, check-ins, or just some extra love and attention during the day. Outside of work hours, I’m available mornings, evenings, and weekends for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care depending on availability. I always do my best to keep pets on their normal routine and make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I do my best to make both pets and owners feel comfortable, informed, and at ease. I’m happy to provide updates, photos, and communication throughout each stay or visit. 🏡 Boarding your pet: I do have two friendly and playful dogs of my own — a Great Dane and a Goldendoodle — along with 3 cats that mostly keep to themselves. Because of this, I always like to make sure personalities and temperaments are a good fit for everyone’s safety and comfort. I also completely understand that not every pet is comfortable around other animals, and that’s okay! I have a partially finished basement that allows pets to be safely separated if needed while still being comfortable and cared for. My goal is always to create a safe, low-stress environment where your pet feels at home. 🐾 Pet sitting and drop-in visits in your home: I know many pets feel most comfortable in their own environment, so I do my best to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. Whether it’s feeding, potty breaks, playtime, medications, or simply providing companionship, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and loved while you’re away. 🚶‍♀️ Dog walks: Safety is always my biggest priority during walks. I have veterinary medicine training and can spot health problems right away. I have administered medicine and given medication orally. I have open availability through out the week when I work so your furry friends will always have someone at home to take care of there needs. I have a small fenced in part of my yard. No animal is left unattended and is always safe in my care. I always go out of my way to make my home feel like there own.
