“Where do I begin with this 5-star review of Kelly C??? This was Champ's 3rd visit with Kelly and her husband and we already knew our pup was in the best of hands! We felt very secure in leaving him with Kelly and her pack for a longer stay as we were traveling overseas. Well, thankfully he was in such trusted hands, because a few days into our trip, Champ, a German shepherd, developed bloat (GDV) which is life threatening and requiring emergency surgery. Sadly, this is all too common in larger breeds like Shepherds. Thanks to Kelly's and her husband's quick action (and with constant communication with us in a different time zone), Champ arrived at the emergency clinic in time, was immediately rushed into surgery, and the amazing specialists at University of Missouri Veterinary Health Center in Columbia treated him successfully. Post surgery, Kelly and her husband took wonderful care of him in his recovery until we could return from our trip to a happy and healthy dog. Needless to say, we are incredibly thankful to have found Kelly and her family and can't say enough about how grateful we are to them! If we could give more than 5 stars, they would be difficult to count!”

“Lisa is the best..I was nervous at first leaving my four legged child behind while I took a business trip but Lisa alleviated all my concerns and extremely communicative..Fozzie absolutely loved playing with her fur babies Eva and Ozzie..highly recommend her.”

“Samantha was great at communicating and taking pictures while we were gone. She spent extra time comforting Pilgrim during the 4th of July celebrations. Would definitely use again!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and currently care for my own pets, including a Great Dane, so I’m very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I understand that every pet has different needs, whether that’s high energy playtime, slow walks for senior dogs, sticking to feeding and medication schedules, or simply giving them extra attention and comfort while their owners are away. I pride myself on being reliable, patient, and attentive to details so pet parents can feel confident their pets are safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m also comfortable with basic puppy routines, reinforcing good habits, and providing calm, gentle care for anxious or older pets. My goal is always to make pets feel as comfortable and at home as possible. I currently work full-time Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, but I do have an hour lunch break each day. For pets local to the Jefferson City area, I’m often available during lunch for potty breaks, walks, feeding, medication, check-ins, or just some extra love and attention during the day. Outside of work hours, I’m available mornings, evenings, and weekends for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care depending on availability. I always do my best to keep pets on their normal routine and make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I do my best to make both pets and owners feel comfortable, informed, and at ease. I’m happy to provide updates, photos, and communication throughout each stay or visit. 🏡 Boarding your pet: I do have two friendly and playful dogs of my own — a Great Dane and a Goldendoodle — along with 3 cats that mostly keep to themselves. Because of this, I always like to make sure personalities and temperaments are a good fit for everyone’s safety and comfort. I also completely understand that not every pet is comfortable around other animals, and that’s okay! I have a partially finished basement that allows pets to be safely separated if needed while still being comfortable and cared for. My goal is always to create a safe, low-stress environment where your pet feels at home. 🐾 Pet sitting and drop-in visits in your home: I know many pets feel most comfortable in their own environment, so I do my best to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. Whether it’s feeding, potty breaks, playtime, medications, or simply providing companionship, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and loved while you’re away. 🚶♀️ Dog walks: Safety is always my biggest priority during walks. I pay close attention to leash security, surroundings, weather conditions, and your dog’s comfort level to make sure they have a safe, enjoyable, and enriching walk every tim

“My pups are typically pretty nervous around new people, but they made themselves right at home with Victoria. They had so much fun and I received daily updates which helped settle my nerves more than imaginable while we were away. Victoria was always available to assist with any questions and extremely accommodating to my boys needs. We will definitely try to book with Victoria again before considering any other options! 😊”

“Sydney was great. She had plenty of yard space for Luna to run. She kept us updated with how Luna was doing overall Sydney I think it’s probably the best that we’ve ever been to. I highly recommend her.”

“Nicole is the BEST! Sent tons of pictures and gave multiple updates throughout our babies’ stay with her. Nicole was communicative & accommodating and we will be booking with her again!!”

“Brock and Rashelle provided exceptional care for my beloved fur baby. Their kindness and affection truly shone through, making my pet feel right at home. He had a wonderful time playing with their pup, and I appreciated the daily walks and outdoor playtime they ensured he had. I also loved receiving regular updates and photos, which brought me peace of mind while I was away. Highly recommend their services!”

“Sierra was amazing ! She took good care of Cody and he was happy when I picked him up. I could tell that he felt very comfortable with her and her family. I would definitely use her again in the future and would recommend her for any service.❤️❤️🐾🐾”

“Mooncake loves spending time with Stephanie and her dogs! From running around her beautiful yard or collecting cuddles on her couch, I always know that he's in wonderful hands with her.”

“Amanda did great with our 3 year old Terrier Mix. She was easy to communicate with and sent pictures to us regularly while we were away. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a good sitter. ”

“Thank you, Alicen! She was fantastic - she responded quickly to messages and was very organized, and, most importantly, she was comfortable and fully equipped to handle our reactive dog for a last-minute weekend trip. Her understanding of dog behavior is impressive and just what we needed to feel comfortable leaving our dog with someone we just met for a weekend. We will definitely hire her again!”

“Highly recommended, Naee went above and beyond for our fur-baby Star. We will definitely be coming back to her again when we need the help ? Thanks so much for taking great care of our ⭐️”

“Dani and Skye were wonderful dog sitters for our beagle, Jenny. We left Jenny with them for a week and they took great care of her. Dani texted us pictures and kept us updated on how Jenny was doing while staying with them. Dani and Skye both love animals and Jenny enjoyed being around their own dog and cat. We would highly recommend these two for anyone looking for a nurturing environment for a pet. Thanks so much!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Holts Summit
This is the second time Tripp has stayed at Kelly’s! We are fortunate to know that he is in really good hands. They love on him like their own. It is so nice to know that they can handle it all and we don’t have to worry! He enjoys his time there and we can tell how at home he feels from the photos and videos!

Appreciated Sam watching Bella and Jake. She took them as we went out of town even though she woke up very sick that morning. Thanks for pics and updates. Only suggestion would be to add more details to the updates. Thanks so much for watching them for an extended time!
