About: I have been pet sitting for a long time! Outside of owning my own pup - a dane dalmatian pitty named Ekko - I am a long time volunteer of both CMHS and Second Chance! I have both short term and long term fostered both cats and dogs through both organizations. I pet sit on the regular for a few folks but otherwise excited to meet your furry friend! I am currently working full time but am happy to check in with your furry friend in the morning, my lunch break and after work! I will care for your pup in whatever way is best for your friend! About: I took a very active role in caring for my family dog until he tragically passed from cancer in 2019. I have also dog-sat for neighbors’ pets with particular dietary needs. Currently, I’ve been told by roommates that I have a very calming presence with our house dog. I work part time primarily in the evenings and when not working, I often have community theater rehearsals on weeknights. During the Mizzou school year I will have some classes during the day, though for no more than a few hours at a time. My current house is not available for pet boarding unless specifically negotiated. The property has a non-fenced yard and one resident dog, who does behave well with other animals. Neighborhood is safe, well-paved, and walkable.
About: My husband, Jesse, and I love our dogs like family and we will love yours like family as well. We are the trusted home of many family members’ pets. We know it can be difficult to find good care for your dogs while you are away, and would love to be their home away from home. We have 2 dogs who currently experience seizures so we have some experience in special care, and know the importance of providing the extra care and attention to ensure a safe and healthy dog. We also have a wonderful fenced in backyard with plenty of room for your pet to stretch their legs and can provide a 30 min on leash neighborhood walk as well. We do crate at nighttime for the safety of the dogs. Due to work schedule, responsibilities at home (children and pets), multiple Rover requests with same times, I do have a 30-60 min window on drop in times but we will attempt to stick as closely to the requested time as possible. We do offer 15 min drop ins for a reduced price- just ask us about it! We have a large fenced in backyard and 3 dogs who can keep your puppy company. We do have small children who love pets so we would like to host dogs who do well with kiddos.
About: I have grown up with Dogs and Cats my whole life. I have also pet/house sat for family and friends through middle school, high school and now college. I have/had many dogs and cats who have been/are massive parts of our family. 4 German Shepherds, Apache, Zoom, Ranger and Camo. 1 Husky Cherokee and 2 Australian Shepherds Banjo and Max. I have taken pride in self training my dogs to be good K-9 citizens. Ex: “Sit”, “Waite”, “Down”, “Leave it” and not jumping. Some of my favorite activities with dogs are walking/running, brushing/baths, playing with toys/wrestling, snuggles, driving around and a snack never hurt anyone! :) As for cats I’ve had/have 4 (Dizzy, Yoyo, Bast and now Tiffany!) My favorite activities with kitties are playing with the string toy, brushing, giving treats and snuggling while reading/watching Tv/doing Homework. Of course I love watching them get the zooms! :) I am a full time college student with MIZZOU Army ROTC. During the summers I’m available most days/nights and weekends. As for the school year I’m pretty open as well. We will have to communicate and see what works best for everyone at that time. I was raised to hold myself to high standards and values some of these values are summed up best by the Army values, Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selflessness Service, Honor, Integrity and Personal Courage. I believe you need all of these to not only be the best version of yourself but pull the best out of others, person or paw. I care for my pets by making them an important part of my life! I love to be active and take my dog on runs/walks and play. As for my cat when I’m doing Homework or relaxing after a long day she likes to snuggle me or play with her toys. My pets are my family, team and life. I keep them safe by keeping them in active parts of my life, researching the food they eat and have a great relationship with there vet!
About: Tons of animal experience, have been pet sitting since around the age of 13 for family and friends! Happy to provide references to make you know your pet is getting the best care!
