My dog Lupo usually takes a bit to warm up to strangers and can be reactive when afraid; someone who is overly gushy and touchy-feely immediately upon meeting would be Lupo's idea of a nightmare. Christina listened to my suggestions and respected Lupo's space as I let her out of the car. But Lupo decided immediately that Christina was not just a friend, but a BEST friend. Lupo literally ran up and hugged Christina within minutes of meeting her. This is not typical Lupo behavior so I knew Lupo was in good hands.
