Growing up, I cared for my white Lab, who had several medical issues. I took full responsibility for his care in high school — giving medication, monitoring his health, and making sure he felt loved and safe every day until he sadly passed. More recently, I adopted my golden retriever almost two years ago and trained him myself. He has a reliable recall, a strong sit and stay, and knows all the basic tricks. About: Hey I’m Sarah. I love animals and what their presence brings. In the past I worked at a dog daycare with several breeds of dogs, all shapes and sizes. I’m also on Wag with 360 pet care services to date. I have a 2 cats at home, Pepper and Cookie Monster so for owners who have cats, no need to worry! I am a fulltime traveling music professional, but I also enjoy spending time with animals to help me be more physically active, and I believe that the way animals view the world can be beneficial and healing. I'm hoping I can apply their perspective to my writing. I'm looking forward to meeting your fur baby! I like to go on walks with dogs throughout various hours of the day from early morning to early evening when I’m not touring. I also can do drop ins and check on them for potty breaks and play! Overnights and sittings are also an option for those who are out of town. My schedule tends to be more free during the week, but sometimes I also do sittings. Open to holidays in normal days of fun with the fur babies! I try to approach new fur friends with a low calm tone of voice, a friendly demeanor, with mutual respect as I would treat any human. I see them as any other living thing on the planet that deserves equal kind treatment.

About: I have almost always had animals in my life and home. I recently lost my deaf boxer who was my best friend for the last 11 years. Along with her I had another dog and 2 cats so I am used to a full house of animals. I also worked at a humane society for almost 3 years, leading the cleaning, feeding, dog training, as well as overseeing the matching and adoption process and am comfortable with giving medications. I work full time, three days in the office, and two days at home so am primarily available Fridays through Sundays. Depending on the animal's needs if they are fine being alone for 8 hours a day I am open to other days. I have always and will continue to always only take dogs out on a leash as my yard is not fenced. I am always very aware of my surroundings to make sure myself and animals are safe.

About: Having an 8 year old reactive dog has enabled me to learn all about dog emotions, learn how to soothe anxieties and build doggie confidence! I’m confident with training and can keep your dog on track. I love all breeds and am experienced in dog’s behaviors and feelings. I'll make sure your dog gets a fulfilling, stimulating walk or shower them with love and affection and playtime during a drop in. Sniff walks are 10x more stimulating than just physical exertion alone, so I’m looking forward to bringing you home a tired pup! I'm excited to hear from you and meet your pup! I work mostly from home so am available the entire day for drop ins and walks. I usually take my own dogs for walks in the mornings and evening before it’s too hot, would love to get double the walking in! I am super comfortable with pet cams and happy to send pic and video updates during drop in visits. If you’d like a report card I’m happy to oblige!
