About: Caring for others has been a meaningful part of my life for as long as I can remember—both people and animals. I’ve cared for my own pets, dog-sat for family and friends, rescued lost pets and helped reunite them with their owners, and have always been drawn to animals who need a little extra care and patience. I currently have a nine-year-old Beagle/Toy Poodle mix named Millie and a cat named Josie, who is about six years old. I rescued Josie as a stray when she was sick and in need of care. I took her in, helped her get healthy, patiently earned her trust, and ultimately decided to make her part of my family. Her journey has given me firsthand experience with cats who may be fearful, shy, anxious, temperamental, or slow to trust, and taught me how important patience, understanding, and respecting an animal’s boundaries can be. I’m comfortable with animals of different sizes, personalities, energy levels, and temperaments. I pay close attention to animal body language and behavior and can recognize the signs that a dog or cat is comfortable, fearful, overstimulated, anxious, playful, or welcoming. I believe understanding those signals is one of the most important parts of caring for an animal because every pet communicates differently. My caregiving experience also extends to people. I’ve cared for infants, toddlers, and children, helped my mother with babysitting while growing up, and have provided care and companionship to elderly individuals. My professional caregiving background also includes working as an obstetric technician, caring for newborns, young children, and mothers following delivery, as well as caring for elderly patients, including those who needed comfort, companionship, and attentive support. These experiences have taught me to be patient, observant, dependable, gentle, and attentive to the needs of those in my care. Whether I’m caring for a person or an animal, I understand that they may not always be able to tell me exactly what they need. I’ve learned to pay attention, recognize changes in behavior, and respond with compassion. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else can be difficult. I take that trust seriously. I’m comfortable following your pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and giving them the patience and space they need to feel comfortable. I also believe in keeping owners informed and communicating if I notice anything unusual about their pet. Most importantly, I don’t see pet sitting as simply “watching an animal.” I see it as caring for a member of someone’s family. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and genuinely cared for while you’re away—and for you to have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs big and small since i was 16! Whether it be going on walks, bathing them or just watching them! I’ve always had a love for animals, caring for them brings me joy! I’m working a full time! This is something I like to do any time I can on the side! I’m willing to work with anyone if they will work with me with my crazy work schedule. I’ll make room for taking care of anyone’s furry babies! I have a fenced in yard with a puppy, I make sure there isn’t anything harmful on the floor or in reach, there’s plenty of space and toys!

“Rebecca was wonderful - responsive, responsible - a delight to work with. Meticulously on time, a picture of food bowls every day, willingness to carry in all the packages that arrived while we were gone - so helpful! Our scaredy cat never came out from hiding while she was there, but she went to the trouble to take a picture of him hiding under the bed! Proof of life!! Nothing but the highest rating for her - we will def engage her again the next time we travel.”

“Savana was a great sitter for my cat and was very accommodating when I had to add some last minute care instructions for health reasons (giving medicine every day and transitioning to a new type of food). I really appreciated when she spent extra time petting my cat and letting her onto the porch (one of her favorite places). Would definitely book again!”

“Ashley was wonderful checking in on my two kitties! The reports were very informative and I loved the pictures she sent. She did everything I needed her to, even watering a few plants while I was away. I came home to happy kitties that had been well cared for! I knew they were in good hands so I could relax while on vacation.”

“Jen showed up just on time and stayed the entire hour. She sent the cutest photo and I know took great care of my kitten! Highly recommend her care.”

“Christa did a great job with my kitty while we were gone. Regular updates, lots of pictures and even got some pets! Wasn’t sure my kitty was even going to make an appearance. I had never used Rover before and she was also very helpful in that process. Highly recommend!”

“We couldn’t have been happier with Elizabeth! She was dependable, kind, and patient with our cat. It gave us great comfort as we traveled and we loved getting her pictures. She was very adept at giving our cat medication which is not easy! We would not hesitate to recommend her and would definitely use her services again.”

About: I've been pet sitting for as many as 3 animals at a time since I was 12, I specialize in making pets feel cared for and following even complex instructions to the letter! I love cats and dogs of all sizes and energies. I really value putting in that extra effort to make a pet feel cared for and keeping a house tidy and safe. I can send updates every visit and value clear communication above all else. I work part-time as a stagehand with very flexible hours, often late nights, so my days are largely open for looking after whatever creatures come my way! I try to foster an environment of calm in any home I visit and am happy to work with a rowdier pup! I'm vigilant about potential hazards and have no problem keeping track of things like medicines, allergies or any other extras to consider.

“Allison has been a wonderful pet sitter for several months. Always on time and communicative. Follows instructions meticulously. She understood that it would take time for my cat to warm up, and I know Allison genuinely enjoyed spending time with her. 10/10 recommend Allison for your fur babies!”

About: I’m an ABSOLUTE cat lover, I have two at home. I’ve always been the first to offer help with pet sitting. I worked at Nashville Pet Products where i was given the chance to give medication to the senior cats that lived there, so i feel comfortable giving medication when needed. I also have watched family and co workers cats when needed, while also being attentive to behavior. I will make sure your babies are in good and happy hands with me as I love cuddling kitties.

“Amber went above & beyond while we were away for two nights! She stayed at our place & watched our 3 cats. She was very responsive & left our home spotless! I definitely recommend her!”

About: I am an animal lover and have over 33 years of experience! I grew up having dogs and cats. I have had 3 of my own dogs and 2 cats, 4 of which were strays. I have trained all of my furry friends and even helped my Boston Terrier Mix have puppies. I have also cared for elderly pets and so I understand what it takes to give them the love and treatment they need in their more frail years. I currently have very flexible hours and can take care of your furry friend whenever you need me. I had a career in Nursing, but I am currently not practicing so I am free to help you out with your needs. I am very reliable and trustworthy. I have always had pets in my home, but take great pride in my home being well cared for and clean. I would ensure your home would be taken care of in the same way while looking after your pets. Whether it is my home or yours, or taking your pets for a walk, I will be respectful and ensure your pet and your home is well looked after.
“Our cats thrive under Kaitlyn's care. They're happy to see us, of course, but we know they've been well cared for while we were away. We enjoy the photos and Rover cards.”

“Troy really helped us with some much needed reprieve and help with our pups! He was very responsive, easy going and understanding. We thank him from the bottom of our hearts for taking such good care of our special pups for the day 💞”

About: I will love your pets as if they were my own! I’d love to help you feed, walk, bathe, and play with your pets whenever needed. Lover of both dogs and cats (I currently have both myself). Will provide all the love and cuddles to keep your little friend happy until you come home, and you stress-free from worrying about your kiddos. I am a freelancer and work from home so my schedule is very flexible! Happy to help with any early morning or later evening requests too. I live on a quiet cul de sac with plenty of walkable area around. Comfortable with crating dogs if needed. Whatever rules you keep for furniture or sleeping arrangements, I am happy to oblige by to keep your furry friend feeling as at home as possible while you’re away! For drop-ins at your home/apartment, if there is a dog park in the vicinity, I’d be happy to play with them there! For cats, I can feed, play, and change/scoop their litter if it applies.
“Landy and Tim are great! Chewie’s first daycare with them went so well! He got two walks, lap sitting, and enjoyed being a part of their pack. Thanks guys! We’d love to book again!”

“This was our first time using Rover. Mariah quickly eased my anxiety of leaving Duke with someone I didn’t know. We received a picture mid visit. Mariah is very personable and communicates well. I would highly recommend using her. We certainly will use her again when we are back in the area. Thank you Mariah for taking care of our boy.”

“Kali had 3 great day at Doggy Day Care with Hayley. We were visiting the area and Hayley was flexible to watch Kali while we explored. Communication was very easy. Kali's excitement at arrival on the second and third day made us know she was having a good time and made us feel very comfortable. We would highly recommend her.”

About: As a dedicated dog owner to three wonderful pups, I understand that pets are family. I treat every dog with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. My dogs are fed healthy, high-quality food, enjoy nutritious treats, receive plenty of exercise and affection, and are groomed by me with care. When your dog is with me, you can have peace of mind knowing they’ll be loved, well cared for, and treated like one of the family. I work full-time remotely as a tax auditor, which gives me the flexibility to provide consistent care and attention throughout the day. Because I work from home, your pet won’t be left alone for long periods and will receive plenty of companionship, potty breaks, playtime, and love. Caring for animals is already part of my daily routine with my own three dogs, so welcoming your pet into my home feels natural. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a securely fenced backyard for supervised play and exercise, as well as several dog gates throughout my home to safely separate pets when needed for feeding, rest, or introductions. My three friendly, well-socialized dogs love having visitors, but I always take the time to ensure every pet feels comfortable at their own pace. I’ll treat your dog like one of my own—with plenty of love, attention, playtime, and a safe, caring environment.

“Great communication and extremely accommodating. Our pup got sick before day care and she was more than willing to do drop ins instead to prevent other dogs from getting sick. He also clearly had a great time with Bethany!”

About: I genuinely enjoy caring for dogs and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I’m patient, attentive, dependable, and comfortable following each pet’s normal feeding, walking, playtime, and care routine. I understand that every dog has a different personality, so I take time to help them feel comfortable with me and provide plenty of attention and affection. Pet care fits easily into my schedule, and I’m able to dedicate focused time to each pet I care for. I can accommodate walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and other scheduled care based on your pet’s normal routine. I’ll always communicate clearly about availability before accepting a booking. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my priority. I carefully follow all feeding, walking, medication, crate, and household instructions provided by each owner. I keep pets supervised, secure doors and gates, watch for changes in behavior, and respect your home and your pet’s established routine. I’ll also provide updates so you can feel comfortable while you’re away.
About: Hello we have a wonderful 1 year old puppy named Tommy. He gets along with every dog big or small. I do get help from my boyfriend so we work together to watch your pet☺️ Make your pet feel comfortable by bringing their own food, treats, toys, cage and whatever other supplies they will need for their stay with us please🙂 We take our dog to the dog park every day to get a good exercise in and some energy and normally our pup is alone at our dog park. available whenever at least one of us will be home We go outside everyday to get all of the energy out. We have lot of toys for dogs to play with. Also with my very energized puppy its very necessary.
“Both dogs came home tired and content after a full day of play! Brook was amazing and very responsive, quick to solidify our booking and sending photos and videos throughout the day of our dogs. Jules can be a wildcard because of her anxious GSD energy, but even she relaxed and appeared to have a good time.”

“Carolyn was a fantastic dog sitter for us. Our dog Fillmore enjoyed spending the day with her. She was very responsive and provided great updates. I would recommend her to anyone and plan to use her again in the future.”

“Reyhan was communicative throughout the booking and day care stay. I had to find a sitter last minute and her updates helped make me feel comfortable that my dog was safe and relaxed.”

“Emily took wonderful care of my fur baby, Sugar, while we were visiting Nashville. She has a large fenced yard where the dogs can play, and I appreciated the extra safety measures she took. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. I felt completely comfortable leaving my girl in her care, and it was obvious Sugar was well loved and well cared for while we were away. I would happily trust Emily with Sugar again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and conscientious pet sitter.”

“The absolute best! I would recommend Erid and Cheryl to anyone 😊 Not only were they amazing about our last-minute pet-sitting need, but they were kind and responsive the entire time our dog was in their care. Our dog immediately felt comfortable at their house and with them (which is especially awesome because he’s an anxious-type dog). He was completely taken care of and happy as a clam when we picked him up!”

“Jonathan and Saori are wonderful caregivers for dogs! Our puppy was extremely well looked after, and calm and content when I picked her up. I trust them completely and look forward to using their services again.”

“We are very selective about leaving our little boy with anyone. But, we immediately felt comfortable with Megan and Kerry. They were great and Mokee had a good time. After we're away from him, he normally goes wild to see us again. This time he was "ho hum, you're back." Oddly, that makes me happy! 😂”

“Loved all the photos. Cyndie was super responsive. My pup had a great time. It was my first time using Rover and was a little nervous but Cyndie and her family were terrific. I would definitely rebook with her.”

“Thank you Ashley!! You were always there and Emmett was excited to go for his walk. I appreciate you for doing this while I was unable to do so because of surgery. I’m sure we will be seeing you again in the future!”

“Excellent service. My dog was well taken care of, happy, fully exercised, and in great hands. Rebecca is quick to respond and an effective communicator. It is a relief to know that I never have to worry about my dog getting excellent treatment and care. Rebecca is great to work with and will use again.”

“I had a fantastic experience with Brooke through Rover. She was incredibly responsive and even accommodated a same-day booking, which was a huge help. She bonded quickly with my dogs and made us feel completely at ease. Her professionalism and clear communication stood out from start to finish. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy care for their pet.”

I have experience with dogs and cats of different sizes, personalities, and temperaments, including shy, anxious, fearful, energetic, and more independent animals. I pay close attention to body language and behavior so I can recognize when a pet is comfortable, overwhelmed, nervous, or needs space. Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or visiting a client’s home, I will respect their routines, boundaries, environment, and individual needs. My goal is to provide calm, attentive, compassionate care while giving owners peace of mind that their pets are safe and well cared for.
“Stephanie did a great job taking care of Carl. She even took him out in the pouring rain. I would definitely recommend her to any pet owner. She was very attentive and communicated well. Thanks Stephanie!”
About: I've cared for cats and dogs with all kinds of personalities, so I’m very attuned to what each individual pet needs to feel safe and relaxed. I take time to learn your pet’s routines, quirks, and preferences, and I follow your instructions closely so their day feels as “normal” as possible while you’re away. I’m patient with shy or anxious pets and gentle with seniors who need a slower pace, extra potty breaks, or help with stairs. In the past, I have fostered a pup who needed purposeful walks and extra mental stimulation and also a sweet 17-year-old cat that needed capsule medication twice a day. You can also expect clear communication from me every visit, with updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing and can travel with peace of mind. I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule. I ensure that all visits and walks are planned in my calendar well in advance so that your pet gets consistent attention and isn’t squeezed in “when I can.” Unless mentioned, I’m available for morning, midday, and evening walks or drop-ins on most weekdays. I keep weekends open for extra visits or travelers who are out of town. When caring for pets in your home, my goal is to keep everything as close to 'normal' as possible for them and for you. I follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, playtime, and any medications or special routines. I take time to give your pet the attention and reassurance they need and stick to the schedule they’re used to so they feel safe and comfortable. I also treat your home with respect. I wipe paws if needed, keep food and water areas tidy, lock up carefully, and double-check doors, crates, and gates before I leave. After each visit, I send a quick update and photos so you know how your pet is doing and how the visit went.

I am available on the afternoons of weekdays, weekends, and holidays to provide loving care. I allow a sense of freedom and opportunity to roam around the area of the home or play while continuously making sure your pet is safe.
About: I’ve helped family members take care of dogs by walking and bathing when needed. I’ve always loved being around dogs all my life as I grew up around them and worked in pet stores since 2022. I am currently working full time but the earliest i can stop by is 8 am and the latest being 9:30 at night if needed. I am comfortable with working with any restrictions required by owner, even if it means crating the animal, or any dieting the animal may have. I am also CPR certified through the American Red Cross, i can also provide proof of certification.
“Emory was on time and took my dog out for an efficient amount of time. She provided lots of fun photos and was trustworthy! will definitely let her walk my dog again!!!”

About: I'll love your dog as much as my own! We can all be friends together, maybe have a treat and play with our favorite toys! I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to cater to your loved further baby. I've loved animals since birth pretty much. All shapes, breeds, and sizes are welcome! I have a big warm house with a friendly small pup. I have an open yard, but I also have a small fenced in porch. I love to share treats and play fetch!
About: I have cared for just about every animal type - dogs, cats, rodents, fish, and a few exotic reptiles and amphibians. In that scope, I’ve managed surprise litters, caring for young and senior pets with all their needs. I’m currently working from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I will have my elementary age kids and our senior dog with me every other week, and we’re unfortunately allergic to cats. I have a large fenced in yard, plus my own dog every other week. She is a bit picky about other dogs depending on their size, age, and personality.

About: I’ve owned dogs growing up and cats most of adulthood. I have both fostered & boarded dogs and cats on and off for 15 years. Both my cats have been raised around dogs & cats coming over to visit, so as long as the animals coming to stay are cat friendly, mine will be fine with the company. I’ve been entrusted to pet sit sick animals in need of regular medication without any problems. I’ve bathed both cats and dogs, so if needed, I can give your fur baby a bath too! I just started back to school, so I’m unavailable Monday-Thursday 6am-3:30pm. Outside of these hours, I am happy to take care of your fur babies as needed, whenever needed!😊 I have a nice home with a fenced in yard to allow pups to run and play. I do my best to give tons of love and play with all in my care. If you’re working on some training, I would be happy to help continue with this.

“Ali was wonderful. She asked whether I wanted to do a meet and greet with the pups ahead of time, since I was going to be away for most of the time she was walking them. She also kindly helped clean one of my pups up when he had some digestive issues. She was kind, reliable and my pups were better off with her caring for them while I was away.”

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was little, but have offered services to other folks and their pets since I’ve been able to drive. I’m the owner of two dogs myself and I’m very familiar with breeds like chihuahuas, pit bulls, and coonhounds. I have cared for dogs of all ages and degrees of care (medicine, specific diets). I work for myself at a salon, so I have complete freedom of my schedule. This allows me to have more flexibility with clients during the day and on weekends/holidays. I think all animals thrive more in their own environments, which is why I don’t offer services in my own home. My dogs have their own boundaries that I want to respect.. I will take the time to get to know your animal and gain their trust in order to provide the best care for them while you’re away.
About: I have lived/taken care of animals my whole life. Have taken care of dogs, cats, bunnies, lizards. I have two dogs at home that I care for and have trained.

“Had a great experience. My dog came home happy and well cared for, and it was obvious he got plenty of attention while I was away. Communication was easy, and I appreciated the updates and photos. It made the whole process stress-free, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Troy again.”

“Amazing, I’m a new cat owner and she gave me so many tips made me less stressed about this new journey, I can tell my girl Kali enjoyed her time with her, very sweet and caring!”

“Olivia was excellent! Myles truly loved the love and attention he received 😊 which makes mama’s heart happy too. Would definitely rebook against. Thank you Olivia.”

“Jodi was so good with my little poodle Mia. It was my first time leaving her with someone. She went the extra mile to help Mia settle in and kept me updated with lots of pictures and videos. Mia seemed to have a great time playing and napping with Jodi’s two dogs. I’m afraid she isn’t going to like being back home with me. ☺️”

“Jen was amazing. She watched our dog Josie over the thanksgiving holiday weekend and Josie enjoyed ever bit of it. She sent photos throughout the stay which was great. Would def re-book with Jen. ?”

“Cyndie was the PERFECT match for my Farrah Grace. She sent pictures and updates at the most prefect times. We will ALWAYS be using Cyndie for future pet sitting.”

“Leah took excellent care of my dog daughter, Mira! Mira was not ready to leave her new friends when we returned, but came back healthy and happy as ever. Leah sent regular updates with photos and videos of Mira’s adventures while we were out of town for peace of mind. I highly recommend her!”

“Brandon made everything super easy and was very accommodating. He did well communicating while we were on vacation. My dogs came home happy and well taken care of.”

“Lexi stayed with Tish for 4 days and when I came to pick her up she didn’t seem to be willing to go back home? Tish was kind and caring and looked after our dog well. She constantly updated me on how they were doing while we were away.”
“What a great family! Took extra good care of my Frenchie and super communicative. A+ dog photographers 🤣 Loved the pictures I got! Thank you guys so much for loving my girl right!”

“Bobbie loves going to Liz’s house so much, we’re very lucky to have found such a great sitter for her! We’ve booked with her close to 10 times and she’s extremely responsive and flexible. Highly recommend!”

“Jamie was flexible, accommodating, and communicative. Her chill vibe and our dog Amos’s chill vibe were a great fit. We especially appreciated her availability at short notice. Amos had a great time lounging on soft furniture all weekend!”

“This was my first time using Rover and using anyone outside of family or friends to watch Roscoe. I will admit that I was a little nervous. Kayahja was the best choice for me and Roscoe. She understood how I felt as a dog mom and she kept me updated with pictures and videos throughout Roscoe’s stay. She was super helpful with figuring out a convenient drop off for both of us. Her dogs are super sweet! Roscoe had the time of his life. He seemed so comfortable and at peace with her and her dogs. He’s made two new friends. I was wondering if he’d want to come home lol. If you’re looking for a caring, dedicated dog sitter that is also a dog mom, Kayahja is it! Roscoe and I will definitely use her again.”
