“Samantha was the greatest. She gave my cat space while also making sure that she can leave her sent with him. She gave great ideas to help me because this is my first time having a cat sitter. She is so receptive and she gives great advice. She connected with my cat wonderfully, and I truly appreciate what she had done with feeding him and connecting with him. I will use her again. She is definitely my go to and I would highly recommend her.”

About: Hello, I'm Rebecca. I'm 28 years old. I've always been an animal lover. I live with my parents who have had multiple dogs over the course of my lifetime. Being the only child still living with them, I've become their dog sitter anytime they leave for a trip, etc. I began experiencing disabling health issues right out of high school and resorted to dog sitting as a way to make money as I was not able to hold a "real" job. I grew to love it. I'm healthier now and looking to find more opportunities outside of friends, family, and neighbors. I would love to broaden my horizons and care for fur babies full time. I'm currently unemployed and have a very open schedule. I have experience caring for puppies, elderly dogs, and anything in between. I know how to administer medication and clean up accidents due to my past elderly dogs having health complications. I also have experience caring for rabbits and cats. After the passing of my 9 year old rabbit in June 2025, I felt like a piece of me was missing. Only a couple months later, I started dog walking for a woman in my neighborhood daily and it helped me through the grief of losing my bunny. That's what caused my desire to dog sit/walk to grow even more. It is said that "time heals all wounds" but the unconditional love from a furry friend really helps pass the time. I'm also a house plant lover. If needed I can water and care for any houseplants during overnight sittings. No more worrying about your beloved pets or plants while you're away! With me you can have peace of mind that they're all in good hands. I'm currently unemployed. I have a very open schedule except for weekdays from Noon-1pm (when I dog walk in my neighborhood). I have 2 separate church events scheduled on the 4th Saturday of every month. Scheduling walks or drop in visits can be tricky that day because the events don't always have a set time. I can dog sit at your home on those 4th Saturdays as long as I am able to leave for a couple hours for the events. During drop-in visits/walks I rinse and refill water bowls, replace empty treat toys, clean up any accidents that may have occurred, play with your fur baby to release any pent up energy they might have, and complete any other duties you may have for me. I pay close attention during potty breaks and notify the owners if anything is out of the ordinary. When dog sitting I can stay at your home overnight if needed. If not I can check in as often as you'd like. I can provide updates through out the day and pictures so cute you'll want to frame them.
About: **Are you located outside of the service area, but I seem like a good match? Please reach out anyway, I'd love to speak with you and could be open to traveling a little further in some circumstances! Hi! My name is Amanda. Thank you for your attention to my Rover profile. I've had pets most of my life! Our family includes a 140lb special needs mastiff (Perro de Presa Canario aka, Canary mastiff), a 12lb Cairn terrier, a 50lb Staffy/boxer mix, and last but not least: a 7lb Dutchie/New Zealand house bunny aka, "The Queen". I am comfortable getting my hands dirty. I have a hard time resisting getting down on the ground everytime I meet someone's dog. It might be my toxic trait. I'm comfortable with bathing and light grooming including: brushing, nail care, and dental care. My availability revolves around my own pets and their needs, of which there are many—medication, walks, grooming, enrichment, etc.. Essentially, my life revolves around ensuring that theirs is one that is as fulfilling, and a far cry from the situations from which they were rescued, as possible. We have a fenced yard on an acre plot. Our bunny is litterbox trained and lives along side us as the beautiful queen that she is. Some people may call us obsessive, but we just love our pets and want to be the best custodians possible.

About: Hi! I’m a dogaholic. I have experience taking care of labs, great danes, staffordshire terriers, and my personal favorite: GOLDEN RETRIEVERS! My walks give dogs the structure and clarity they need to live better lives and lead to a better relationship between dog and owner. Let’s talk! I work at Chipotle in Portage but typically that doesn’t interfere with dog walking and visits. Contact me today for specifics and we can get you booked asap! Safety is my #1 priority. I am pet CPR certified, which I think all pet owners should consider getting (it’s a $25 course y’all!). Especially those with larger breeds, which are more susceptible to heart attacks. Know the signs of heart attacks, dehydration, and heat exhaustion. Finally, I ask all my new dog-owners if there is any medical history, allergies, disabilities, or medication I need to be aware of before caring for that animal.
“Daryl has been an amazing daily dog sitter for our pup during the week! Our 6 month old puppy is a handful at times and full of energy and Daryl handled him wonderfully. She did exactly what we asked and sent lots of updates throughout her visits. It was such a good feeling to come home to a happy pup at the end of the day. I would highly recommend her to care for your fur babies .”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
