“Amos has done both daycare and boarding at Liz’s and he has the best time. She is very thoughtful and makes sure to ask what treats he can have as well as whatever other care he needs. “Very easy to work with. Very flexible and responsive. Great location for downtown Nashville activities. My dog seemed to enjoy her doggy daycare! Would recommend and use again if I were in the area.”

About: I’ve had dogs of my own ranging from bulldogs to a golden retriever and I am well equipped to care for many dogs! I also volunteer at a nonprofit that works to donate toys to animal shelters. Currently I work from home and am available to give the dogs attention and care during the work days! I also have a golden retriever myself who loves other dogs and will be a good source of energy for furry friends! In my home I have lots of toys that can be used, and if I am in a clients home I will make sure to be respectful and watch the dog at all times.

“Daria is literally the BEST when it comes to someone watching your pup. I have a brand new puppy (now 3 months old) and work 12 hours shifts. Daria was always willing to be up early to let me drop off Mack on the way into work and grab her on my way back from work. I genuinely felt like Daria loved Mack as her own and always felt as ease when Mack was with her. She sent me plenty of pictures throughout the day and now Mack has a new best friend, Boone. Thank you Daria :)”

About: I’m now a proud cat dad but I’ve owned dogs since childhood and love them! I’ve also assisted in training German Shepherds during my teenage years. If I could be of any assistance to you, know that your pet is in good hands and a loving environment until your return! HR professional with a 9-5. During weekends or evenings, your pet baby will have my undivided attention. I only host one pet at a time, so your pup will be safe and relaxed during their time with me. Whatever their schedule is, I’m flexible in providing consistency in their routine for a more comfortable stay. I tailor the care of each pet to their routine. Since they are away from their normal space and owner, I make sure to give them the same level of care in a new space.

“Margaret provided a safe and very quiet space for our anxious pup, Rio, while we explored Nashville on our cross country trip. We travel a lot, and Rio has been in a lot of Rover homes. Margaret’s setup was one of the better ones we’ve visited, and she had a good rapport with Rio. He slept for much of the day, which he doesn’t always do at Rover. That means he felt safe, secure, and at peace. We will book again the next time we’re in Nashville!”

About: I'm a work-from-home, self-employed pet caretaker with professional experience with puppies to senior dogs. I offer personalized boarding and drop-in care from my cozy, dog-friendly home. We have a fully fenced yard and go on 2–4 walks daily, based on your pup’s needs and the weather. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and in the bed if that’s where they’re happiest! Your dog will also meet my sweet beagle mix, Earl. She’s gentle, social, and great at helping other dogs feel at ease. Whether your pup loves playtime or prefers quiet snuggles, I’ll tailor their stay to suit their personality. Happy to do meet-and-greets or FaceTime calls to ensure a perfect fit. I also offer drop-ins and walks, including recurring services. Each visit includes customized care, just let me know what your pet needs to feel safe and happy. My husband and I work mostly from home, so we provide almost 24hr care for the dogs we board! We already have a set walking routine, but happy to adjust if your pet needs a different schedule. We have a fenced in backyard. We go for walks in the morning and evening and additional if requested or we notice they need it. We are happy to provide baths if requested. We just love watching any and all dogs. It’s the best!

“We had a great first Rover experience with Caroline and her sweet family! Our dog was happy and tired when we picked him up. Communication was great - I appreciated the picture update. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. My dogs have always been my best friends, my cats were just good for my soul. I’ve almost always lived in cities, NYC, Boston, and now Nashville. Cities are crowded, people are unpredictable, dropped food, broken glass, and various other gross things that dogs go crazy for (The more repulsive to the human, the more the dog wants to eat it!) are everywhere. When walking dogs or going to play, you have to be extra alert, good with people, and able to evaluate other dogs quickly, and able to anticipate and avoid situations that can potentially cause injuries or illness to pets. Having raised, trained and cared for dogs and cats in this environment for most of my life, I feel ok saying I’m pretty good at it. For the past 7 years I’ve lived one block from lower Broadway, so I’ve pretty much seen it all and know where to go and what to avoid based on the temperament, fitness, and socialization of the pets I look after. I know how special and important your pet is to you and do everything I can to give them the best experience possible while they’re away from their homes and families. I care for cats and dogs at least a few days a week now. I work from home so if a pet is staying with me I’m always with them. As a “city boy”, with a lot of energy and passion for the outdoors, and a car I haven’t seen in weeks, I love having a dog or cat to play with, care for, or just hang out with. If you live in, or are visiting the downtown area, I’m usually available on short notice and happy to be there off-hours or on weekends if you have something urgent to do or just want to stay out a little late and enjoy yourself. My home is basically built for pets. It’s very clean, and there’s very little that can be knocked over or grabbed off the counter for an unplanned treat. Pets are welcome on my furniture, but only if you allow it at home. When boarding or house/pet sitting, I'll always make sure they stick to your house rules. I feed, walk, administer medication (even injections) on your schedule, and make sure their food and water, and your home are clean and safe. My goal is to make it safe, comfortable, and fun so we create a bond that makes being away from their parents easy.

“Paris was AMAZING. We were in the area from NJ, we planned some things in Nashville where doggies weren’t allowed so we looked around for a sitter. His reviews were impressive so of course I reached out. He was very quick about answering my initial request and answered all my questions. Paris sent me pictures and videos throughout her day care stay. He has a spacious backyard and Canela even had a friend to play with while we went out to sightsee in Nashville. If we are ever in town again , you’re our guy, Paris! Thank you”

“Tera came back home with all smiles and had a great time with Gary and the couple other dogs that were there! Gary has a large backyard which I know Tera loves to run & play around in, he was great with communication, and sent photos of Tera throughout her stay. Gary was also available to watch Tera at a short notice. I definitely recommend him for your pet sitting needs!”
