About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. About: I’ve had animals all my life! Mostly dogs but I’ve added a cat to my family and my sister has some bunnies. I’m the girl at the party who immediately finds the animal in the house and bonds with it!! I can’t add another pet to my clan but I’d love to spend some time with your sweet pet!! I work from home all week and get off work at noon on Fridays. I cannot take animals to my house but I have no problem traveling. Before taking care of an animal, I like to go to the house and meet the animal with the owners present. Then I can see how they behave at the house and get a run down of the do’s and don’ts

Drop-in visits and dog walks are usually 30 minutes, but I have flexibility to increase the length to 60 minutes (see extended care) Your trust and your pet’s safety are very important to me. While caring for your pets in your home I will respect your space, follow your instructions & always make sure that doors, crates and gates are closed. On walks I’ll make sure to keep an eye on your dog’s body language, needs and have water & treats available to ensure that it is fun, safe and filled with some good sniffing time too!

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life and couldn’t imagine a life without them. I spent 2 years working at a doggy daycare and then decided to go to school to become a dog trainer! If you would like any information on training, that can definitely be discussed! I am also Pet First Aid and CPR certified. While I do take dog training clients throughout the week, I have a pretty open and flexible schedule so I’ll have plenty of time for your furry friends! I do not have a fenced in yard, but I do have a run and a great neighborhood for walks! Whether your home or mine, I will always abide by your wishes. For example, if your pet is staying at my house and you do not what them on furniture, I will definitely make sure I stick to that for you!
About: My family has had dogs on and off since I was little. I've always loved dogs of all ages, breeds, and abilities. I have my own Mini Goldendoodle sister named Harley! We got her when she was just 6 weeks old and she's now 5 years old living her best life :) I especially love taking Harley for walks as it helps me to get my own exercise. I am a young professional working a full-time remote job in Higher Education. I typically work 8:30-5pm Monday through Thursday and 11:30-8pm on Fridays. Weekday nights and weekends I'm usually available! I keep Harley on a leash when she's in the backyard and on a leash during walks. We mostly only feed her dog food with the occasional fruit, vegetable, or treat after research. She sleeps in her crate at night and she stays in her crate when no one is home. Depending on the care you need, I would treat your furry friends the same as my own with the same safety cautions and care.
About: I have been taking care of dogs most of my life. I am 57. I have done dog training and agility with 2 of our dogs. I have had a puppy and dealt with Senior dogs too. I love to give our dog lots of attention with play time, walking and outdoor activities. I love to take walks and go to other parks too. With the owner's permission, I love to go to the dog park-Bow Wow dog park and the Akron Dog Park. I give your furry one lots of attention with play time-throwing toys-playing fetch with a ball or toy. Letting them have backyard time. We have a fenced in back yard for the dogs to be free. I also will brush your dog and pet them and give them attention, while you are away. I will treat your dog like he/she is my own dog. Another place I will take dogs is Petsmart or Pet Supplies Plus for social interaction and exercise. I am at home and available most days. We have a 20 year-old Son, who also loves dogs! My Husband helps out too, with walks and letting the dogs out in our backyard and is a dog person. Currently, I am not working. I have a knee problem and some medical issues that prevent me from working full time. I have plenty of time to take care of your dog. We love to take walks and go to the dog parks. However, if you prefer your dog not to go to the dog park, that is fine. We could go on walks and let your dog go outside in our backyard. We have lots of dog toys, bones, balls, etc... I do have a walk thru pet gate that I set up to block off the kitchen and dining room area. We will feed our dog and your dog separately in separate rooms. I love to brush and pet dogs. If needed, we could bath your dog too. We are a "dog" type family, that is our preference. We have had fish, hamsters and also a guinea pig in the past. I grew up with a cat in our home, as a child. We will throw ball and toys for the dogs and play with your dog. We have a small crate that is in our garage, however we don't usually use the crate. If we leave the home, depending on the situation, if your dog is destructive or chewing on furniture or other items, then we will crate your dog when we leave for church or a short errand. If you have a calm dog and the dog is not destructive and well mannered, then your dog could stay in the family room area, unless you prefer that your dog is in his crate. We will use 2 dog gates near our steps to go upstairs. We prefer that our dog and other dogs do not go upstairs. As a House Sitter, I would do any needed cleaning up of any messes I make. I would be bringing my own food, as I am gluten free and dairy free. The only thing I would need is some freezer and frigerated space for my food. I would follow your normal routine for your dog or dogs. I do have occasional Dr and therapy appointments, fyi. We have a home in Akron, with a fence in our backyard. We live near a forest, it is a quiet area. We have a small neighborhood, where the street dead ends to a forest. We don't get drive thru traffic, that use our area as a "short cut".
