About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. Trained my dogs throughout the years and lived with all different sizes of dogs. I typically have done in home pet care or drop by pet care previously. I have very flexible hours and can stop in daily as needed. I am usually only gone for a few hours at a time but home much of the day. I have a house with a yard that dogs can play in, however, it is not fenced in but still a good yard. At my house we have a bernedoodle who loves other dogs

“Cristina was absolutely wonderful with my dog during her visits! She truly went out of her way to take care of him, making sure he felt comfortable, loved, and entertained the entire time. She played with him, gave him lots of attention, and treated him like her own. I could tell he had an amazing time. It honestly felt like he was on vacation while I was away! I’ll definitely be reaching out to Cristina again for future visits. Highly recommend!”

About: I've grown up with animals since I was two years old - one rottweiler mastiff mix who I got as a puppy and five cats total. I am interested in going into wildlife law. I am available mornings and evenings. I am flexible with timing, as my job allows some flexibility with start and end times. I have a car. I am very cautious with animals, as I have experience with dogs who like to run. I do not have a crate in my own home, but can make a gate.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. My very first pet was a cat, her name was Smoky when I was seven years old. At 11, I got my first puppy, a poodle, and by age 12, I had two more cats, Simba and Tigger. When I was 15, I got my second dog, a border collie named Darcy, who stayed by my side until she passed at 15 years old, she grew up with me and my kids. Even as a child, my parents made sure I was fully responsible for my pets, which taught me how to care for them properly, from grooming to training to making sure they were healthy, exercised, and loved. In 2016, I started offering pet care professionally. Since then, I’ve done part-time dog walking, in-home pet sitting, and boarding dogs in my home while their families are on vacation. I’ve worked with dogs and cats of all kinds and love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’ll treat your pets like my own, with care, respect, and lots of love. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which makes it easy for me to care for pets throughout the day. I follow a consistent routine every morning, and I truly believe pets thrive on structure and stability, too. I’m flexible when needed, but I love having a daily rhythm, and that helps pets feel safe, calm, and cared for. In My Home Dogs: Your dog will enjoy a safe, welcoming environment with a fenced yard and one friendly resident dogs for company. I take dogs on morning and evening walks and also bring them to dog parks using my Forest Preserve dog park license when appropriate. I follow consistent feeding schedules and provide plenty of playtime, affection, and structure. Cats: While cats may be more independent, I make sure they have their own space, access to fresh water, food, and a clean litter box. I respect their need for quiet and let them come to me on their own terms, but when they want cuddles or play, I’m always ready. In Your Home Dogs: I make sure your dog feels secure in their familiar space by keeping their routine consistent. I’ll follow your feeding schedule, take them for walks, provide any grooming needs you request, and spend time giving them affection and attention, whether that’s playtime or just relaxing nearby. Cats: I understand that cats often do best in their own environment. I’ll make sure litter boxes are kept clean, food and water are refreshed, and any medications or care instructions are followed closely. I’ll also spend time with them so they don’t feel lonely, whether that means playing with their favorite toy or simply sitting nearby to provide quiet companionship.

About: I'm a teacher who is on summer break and I will have a lot of time to care for your pet! I have had dogs my entire life. I have experience training puppies and caring for senior dogs. I adopted my first dog when I was 15 years old and she my my companion for 15 years. I eventually adopted a senior dog named Angus and he was my companion for 5 1/2 years. They were both amazing dogs who helped me learn a lot about animal care. I hope to spend my time this summer hanging out with and caring for your pet! I will be available after June 3 every day of the week. I do not work during the summer regularly, so I have a lot of time to spend with your pet! I will be unavailable from 9:00am-11:00am Monday-Thursday during the month of June while I teach virtually. I will also be unavailable from July 27-August 5. Also, there is a nearby forest preserve that your dog would love to visit.
