About: I’ve taken care of dogs for about 10 years, mostly my own (now senior) dogs. I also had a dog who was special needs (partially blind and deaf), and unfortunately passed 3 years ago. I am always open to taking care of your pets! I’m normally the most free every day but Wednesday and do not mind spending the night with your pets! I cannot currently house pets in my own home, but I’m always free to stay at your home! I drive, so only staying for a few hours at a time is also okay. Since I have senior dogs, they often “forget” they went outside, so frequent potty breaks (including in the night) is a must. I also give my dogs medication, so if your pup needs oral medication, I am 100% okay with that.
About: I have always loved animals and have experience dog sitting and cat sitting. I also love walking dogs since I love the extra exercise :) I’m great with scheduling and making sure to always be available when possible! One thing I promise to not be, is a flake! About: I have had dogs throughout my life, but over the past 7 years I have taken care of several dogs for up to a week at a time, staying at their homes. This has included a couple of senior dogs requiring extra care. I now have my own dog and can’t stay overnight, but would love to check in or walk dogs of any kind! I’m in medical school, and my current schedule is quite flexible. Right now, I can do mornings sometimes, and my evenings and weekends are often open/flexible. I will be completely respectful of your home and ensure that I’m spending quality time with your dog. I’m happy to play with them, let them out, and/or take them for walks. About: I’ve lived and loved cats and dogs of all ages all my life! I currently have three cats and a snake at home, and I know how hard it is to leave them behind when traveling. I have 10+ years of experience watching pets for family and neighbors who have peace of mind knowing their pets are loved while they’re away! My schedule would work best for pets that can be alone for 8 hours during the week while I’m at work. I can be very flexible with a pets individual needs. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
