We knew after the initial meet and greet we had picked a winner since she has a large dog of her own and a bubbly personality. The visit went great. Sarah was prompt on the visiting times and asked many questions during the first visit to make sure we were happy with the job she was providing. From the pictures we got they had a fun time playing ball in the yard together ! Glad we have someone close and flexible that can help as a surrogate. About: I always had animals growing up and they were treated as part of the family. I’ve been a nanny for 15+ years now, and I found a love for pet sitting along the way. I don’t have any kiddos of my own, but I do have my sweet boy Leo who is a rescue mix that turned 6 in April. I have a special place for dogs in my heart, but I love all animals! I work a nanny position Tuesday-Friday from 9-4:30pm. I’m available in the evenings those days and my weekends are completely open as well. I care for one dog and one cat at my current nanny position. I feed all of them breakfast and ensure that the dog gets enough potty breaks and exercise throughout the day. I also make sure that the cat gets some playtime and that all animals stay hydrated. I have also cared for horses!

About: I have always loved animals and have experience dog sitting and cat sitting. I also love walking dogs since I love the extra exercise :) I’m great with scheduling and making sure to always be available when possible! One thing I promise to not be, is a flake! I love animals and have a dachshund of my own who I’ve raised since a puppy. Safety of your fur baby to me is always the first most important thing I value! About: I have a little over 3 years of experience caring for my friends and family’s dogs. They have entrusted me in walking their furbabies when they are unable to, feed and bathe them while they are away, and watch them for extended periods of time. I am currently available Monday-Friday after 4 pm to walk your dogs, or check in on them and feed them if you are away. Weekends I have an open Availability. And for extended stays I am available whenever. I do have a full time job however, I work 10 mins up the road and can check in on the dogs while on break. I live in a gated community and we have plenty of outdoor space to walk your dogs or let them out for some freedom. I do have a 7 yr old son who loves to play and entertain dogs.& I have a cage available if need be however they are free to roam the house.

Laura really helped me out in a difficult situation and I'm so pleased. She picked up my elderly father's cat from his assisted living apartment and had her vetted and returned home. I live out of state and had no way to do this. She was in time and did all I asked of her.
Eric went above and beyond for my two kitties! He is great and takes phenomenal pictures!! He took excellent care of my babies and even offered help outside of caring for my animals when my home unexpectedly flooded from a severe rain storm. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
