About: I have taken care of dogs of all different breeds and ages for several years. Most recently, I provided long term care for an elderly dog with high anxiety. She required extra patience and special care— two things that I would be able to provide your animal as well! I am available before or after work on weekdays for drop-in visits or walks. I am available full-time on weekends for the same two services. I offer updates to pet owners after every drop-in visit or walk. About: While i had a beagle for 8 years growing up and learned a lot from that, my extended family would frequently rely on me for taking care of the many dogs through the years whenever they had a trip planned. i essentially grew up alongside all of them. i also helped a friend while they were going through training a puppy for service work so understanding how to teach commands is a little easier nowadays and i might begin puppy care in the future. i am free in the afternoon through nights everyday my calendar shows. my full week advance notice time allows me to plan around my responsibilities at home. i have learned to convince rather than force our furry friends into doing things they'd rather not do, like crate naps for going out and teaching how not to jump and so on. i have a lot of practice watching my surroundings to watch and avoid potential dangers, so i will make sure that walks are safe, for us and others.

About: I have been a lifelong dog and cat owner. My last dog, Sage, was with me for 15 years and she was the best girl. For many years I worked as a companion and a caregiver for the elderly. I have watched my grand dog and cat when their humans go out of town. This is my first time using Rover, but my experiences have positioned me well to provide quality pet care! I am retired and home most of the time. Sometimes I run out for appointments or errands, but prioritizing time spent with your pet will be easy. I am happy to provide whatever care your pet needs, whether it’s walking, outdoor time in the yard, medications, or simply companionship. I prefer to follow the instructions the pet owners provide for me.
