About: I have over 7 years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities—from small breed seniors to high-energy breeds. Jinger (My own pup) is a 6-year-old Female Malinois-Lab mix, so I’m especially familiar with energetic dogs who need structure, attention, and enrichment to thrive. Over the years, I’ve cared for puppies, seniors, rescues, and dogs with unique needs—including leash reactivity, anxiety, and medical routines. The wonderful folks at Southside pet shop had taught me Animal Husbandry by the book (literally). During my time there I had taken care of a wide variety of pets in a professional setting. I comfortable caring cats, and exotic pets too- I am more than at home in a multi-pet household. I ALWAYS approach every pet with patience and empathy. I understand that every animal is different, so I change my care-style (never quality!) to match their needs—whether that’s a long walk, playtime, cuddles or medical needs. If you need drop-in visits, house sitting, or just someone to give your dog an afternoon potty break, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, understood, and loved. You can expect daily updates and plenty of photos, Rest assured! Pet sitting is my full-time profession and passion, alongside my work as a freelance artist. I have professional experience in animal husbandry; I’m able to provide attentive, reliable care. I enjoy doing both traditional and digital art; my favorite are pet portraits! If there is downtime while I am petsitting, I’m usually doing art! In both my own home and when caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow the owners instructions, because I understand this routine is in place to keep them comfortable, and healthy. This includes using toys, treats and games to make their day rewarding and fun. Maintaining a clean environment is a top priority; food and water bowls are washed regularly and I always make sure each pet is fed according to their specified guidelines.

About: I’ve loved dogs (and cats) since I can remember! I’ve taken care of dogs for about 3 years now, whether that be family, friends, and/or neighbors pets. I am a full time student at the University of Louisville but will have plenty of time to play with your pups! I am available during the week and some weekends. I keep my eyes on your fur baby at all times to ensure they’re not getting into any trouble and are safe. Will follow all instructions regarding your fur baby.

“Thank you so much for everything again! Emilia was a great sitter, and was able to accommodate to our high energy, large breed dog. Would recommend using Emilia! :)”

“Mattison was amazing! This was the first person we tried without a personal referral, and we couldn’t have been happier. She came before the requested dates to meet our dogs and understand their needs. With her being a Vet tech made us even more excited about using her. She will definitely be our first option for as long as she wants to sit for us.”

“Brandon was great with our dog, Lola. He played with her and sent us pictures. Will definitely use him again!”

“Reyna was wonderful to work with. She let us know her schedule prior to booking to make sure it would work with our dogs needs. She communicated on a regular basis on how our dog was doing. Our dog can be very anxious and difficult and Reyna handled her very well. We got lots of pictures while we were gone, which were great. Definitely will use Reyna again.”

About: I have had two dogs in my life and trained them both when they were puppies! I have also taken care of one post-surgery, and have experience with old/injured dogs. I love walks, playing, and snuggle time. Happy to help wherever needed! I’m currently working part time from home and can be available and flexible. I am free weekends and late nights as well! Open to any routine! I can easily crate dogs or house them here in my home. Near a big park for walks and playtime. Also a short walk from dog friendly ice cream shop:)

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats, and over the years I’ve cared for pets of all ages—from playful puppies and kittens to sweet senior companions. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve helped family and friends with their furry loved ones, whether it was pet-sitting, walking, or giving them some extra love and attention while their humans were away. Right now, I help my roommate with her rescue pup whenever she needs an extra hand. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, and I’m committed to making them feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Lots of cuddles, belly rubs, and silly voices included—unless they’re too cool for that. As a student with just one in-person class, Monday through Thursday from 12:30–2:10 PM, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to pet care throughout the week. I’m mostly available before and after class, as well as on weekends depending on the timing. I also like to stay active and make it a point to go on a 30-minute walk daily—having a furry companion to join me makes it even better! Whether it’s a walk, some playtime, or just keeping a pet company while you’re away, I love building that into my daily routine. When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they have a safe, cozy, and calm environment. I live in an apartment with a spacious layout, and I can comfortably host your dog either in my room or the shared living room—whatever works best for their comfort and routine. The neighborhood around my apartment is great for walks, with lots of green space and quiet streets. I also frequent a park just a 5-minute drive away for longer walks, playtime, or a change of scenery if your dog enjoys adventure. Whether we’re hanging out inside or getting those daily steps in, your pet will get lots of attention, love, and exercise.

About: Some Senior Care Magic hands with dogs Feeding and Nutrition I have some experience with giving medications, but please tell me what works best for your pet. I currently am working part time for the summer so I will be able to check with your pets late at night and early morning. The most they'll be alone will probably be 5 hours. Most of time they won't be alone for Sundays. In your home, I'll make sure to walk them outside and if you have a backyard we'll play outside. We'll also play in any surrounded parks.
