“Kirsten & Bear & co. have been great pals for Alora! She barely knows I'm dropping her off ? she's always a happy girl when she comes home, and we're looking forward to more stays in the near future.”

“We dropped Eddie with Tamar for a few hours on Saturday and again on Sunday, while my daughter played in a soccer tournament at Starfire. It was so convenient! I knew that Eddie was having fun, while I could focus on watching her games without having to wrangle him or leave him at home alone. As always, Tamar (& Amy) were caring, gracious and communicative. Eddie was happy and calm when we picked him up! Win-Win!”

“Zoey spent 4 days with Maria, Kalyan and Nikko and had the best time. She is not always excited to leave her human pack but every day was excited to play with Nikko.M and K went above and beyond sending photos and videos. Zoey came home a tired puppy every night!”

“Amazing sitter and environment! So so happy and grateful I found Eric! I wanted to make sure that my dog has a yard he can enjoy (since we moved from a house to an apartment) and gets great socializing in. There are always just enough dogs around for him to have fun and plenty of space for him to relax if he wanted to. Eric was always great with communication and accommodating when things at work came up. Would highly recommend this little oasis he created for the dogs in Seattle!!!”

About: Thank you for viewing my profile. Please read it in its entirety before sending a boarding request, as a lot of your questions can be answered in the text. The two questions i get the most are am I home all day with the dogs and how many dogs do you watch at one time? I am retired so except for running errands, etc, your dog(s) will be supervised at all times.I DO watch dogs from different households at the same time, having had as many as 8 Rover dogs at once If this is a concern I invite you to come down and meet us, to see how mellow and manageable it is, and how happy the dogs are to be in the company of other dogs. I never watch a dog without meeting it first so this ensures that everyone gets along and it's a good fit. My mom runs a no-kill animal shelter in Florida so I guess you could say it's in my blood. I currently have 2 dogs (the last dog i adopted was from an elderly Rover client who could no longer take care of him) but i've had as many as 4 at one time. Always small dogs, which is what I'm most comfortable with. I've adopted, loved and cared for dogs through all their stages of life, in "sickness and in health", so I'm quite aware of the quirkiness that comes with a dog that has a history. At the moment I’m not boarding puppies because my older dogs can’t handle all the high energy of the youngsters. Nothing brings me more joy than watching these little dogs come out of their shell during the stay. Their tail going from tucked, unsure, "what am I doing here", to full wag! Many owners have told me that when they get to the top of my hill their dog starts getting excited, they know they're coming to my house and they are happy about it. They march right up my steps with zero hesitation. They might not sleep with us on day one, but they almost always find their way into the bed by the time they leave. My goal is to have them feel like one of the pack, loved and secure, safe and happy. I recently retired after 40+ years in the hospitality industry so I will be home with your dog(s) day and night. There's nothing i love more than being in the company of dogs, so watching them is my passion. I will treat your dog(s) like my own. I live in the Arroyo's, a private beach neighborhood in Arbor Heights, West Seattle. I have a gate on the front door so the dogs can't run out if the door opens, though there's hardly any traffic where I live. I have a fully fenced in backyard, perfect for potty breaks and sunbathing. Your dog will never be left unattended in the yard .Inside I have dog beds throughout the house that move with the sunspot. I have cameras to watch the dogs when i'm not home (spoiler alert, they sleep), and WE HAVE AC!

“Julia and Yoda are the BEST! I was really worried about Buster on his first day without me. And he had a blast with his new friends. Julia is so flexible with time and as long as you tell her what's going on she is happy to go with the flow!”

“Uno had such a fun time with Antonio and his family. He took good care of my pup. Uno absolutely adores their dog Yoshi so it’s a bonus that he gets to have another dog to play with. If Uno could talk, he’d definitely tell me to rebook.”

“We could not be more grateful for Gregg! He's taken such excellent care of our puppy. He is super responsive, flexible, and caring. Pickles gets so excited once he realizes we are headed to Gregg's house for puppy daycare! Thank you, Gregg, for being a monumental part of his early development.”

“Couldn't have been happier with our dog staying with Elle. She provided updates and pictures throughout the day and her space is perfect for a puppy to run around. I would recommend Elle to anyone looking for a place to take their pup.”

“My dogs love going to Sean's for doggy daycare! They always come home happy and tired. I appreciate Sean's quick communication, fun photos, and responsible care of my precious boys.”

“Thais treated Dublin like a family member. He came home happy and tired after his day with her. She provides great updates and asked questions helpful to adapt to his routine which is so appreciated with a puppy. Definitely recommend.”

“Jerry was thoughtful, communicative and did a great job caring for my dog! My dog is an escape artist and I felt comfortable leaving her in his care because he has a secure backyard, a double gate system by the front door, and was diligent about keeping her safe.”

“I really appreciate the care Pinar provided Murphy. She took him for a great hike and showed him a fantastic day. She was caring, knowledgeable and in tune with his needs. I totally trust her with Murphy and it’s great to know he’s in good hands.”

About: I grew up with dogs, I have been a dog parent to two sweet puppies in my adult life, and I have fostered many sweet puppies over the years. To me, they're all sweet puppies, regardless of their ages. My 5-year old dog Edgar loves to hang with other dogs - he's never met a person or dog he didn't like. When your dog visits us, they become one of the pack, enjoying all the things that make this house a home. I work from home in a very flexible job, so I have the time to look after your dog's unique needs. My goal is for your dogs to be as comfortable here as they are in your own home. They are welcome on furniture and have easy access to come in and out as they please. There is a big fenced in back yard to play in. If your dog needs a home away from home, we've got you covered! You are the expert on your dog's unique needs, and I will follow your lead to provide your dogs with the care they need. I have a spacious, fully fenced-in back yard, and the dogs have free reign to visit the yard as much as they like each day. Dogs will also have free reign inside the house. If your dog's safe place is a crate, I'm happy to work with that. I have a crate I can set up for them, or you can bring your own. There are lots of cozy dog beds, sofas, blankets, and toys.

“I had my cat Luna stay with Alejandra and her husband for 3 weeks, and it was a huge reassurance to know she was being taken good care of. They provided constant updates and clearly put in the effort to make her feel at home. It's worth noting that Luna is extremely shy, so at first she wasn't exactly thrilled to stay at a new place. But by the time I was back, she was acting like she owned the place! They also have a catio/covered outdoor space, and a fenced backyard. So their home is a very accommodating place for any type of pet. 11/10”

Highland Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Absolutely loved our experience! Matt took such great care of my dog and kept me updated with tons of sweet photos throughout the day. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. Highly recommend!

Eric’s the best- I really appreciate how flexible he has been with my work schedule. Daffy always has the best time!!

Pickles had a great time with Maria! He was excited to see her and enjoyed his walks in the puppy stroller. Maria is very attentive and communicative. We loved the cute pictures throughout each day and always knew he was in good hands. Thank you, Maria!

We are so grateful for Kirsten and her family taking amazing care of our dog! We always have peace of mind when she’s with them. Thank you!

We could not be more grateful for Gregg! He's taken such excellent care of our puppy. He is super responsive, flexible, and caring. Pickles gets so excited once he realizes we are headed to Gregg's house for puppy daycare! Thank you, Gregg, for being a monumental part of his early development.

HIGhLY recommend!! 5🌟 Angel was exceptional with my dog, Mango. Angel asked great questions prior to caring for her and also let me know the generalized plan for their time. Nacho was a great companion to Mango. They were immediate friends and got along far better than Mango does with other dogs. The communication and updates were far better than I could have asked for. I am so grateful to have such a supportive Rover; thank you Angel!

Mati took great care of our pup! She gave updates and was very kind and caring and interactive with him.

Thank you Vicky! You and Gugu were amazing hosts, thanks for keeping us posted on Boone’s activities. He had the best time and is zonked out from a full day of play 😊

Bryan & Morris took excellent care of Birdie on her very first experience with doggy daycare this afternoon! They shared lots of pictures & updates which I greatly appreciated because I'm a bit of a nervous puppy Mama and this was her first time staying with someone else since I adopted her. Bryan & Morris kept Birdie entertained with plenty of activity and lots of sniffing and exploring to do, plus lots of cuddles and lap time which is maybe her favorite activity.🥰 Birdie can be a little shy at first since she is so young and tiny (not even 5 pounds yet!), but she was quickly ready to give them kisses and snuggles and they did a great job of helping her feel comfortable and safe in a new place. We look forward to our next visit, thank you so much for taking such great care of Birdie today!

Pearl was amazing with my pup! She made me and my dog feel comfortable each step of the way. She’s a great communicator, took the time to meet anxious dog prior to the stay, and gave me updates throughout the stay. And most importantly my dog loved her! Will definitely book Pearl again!

Mariel was great! Sent updates and pictures - great communication. My crazy energetic dog is tired and I'm impressed. Thank you! Highly recommend

Heather was great taking care of my two huskies! They seemed tired like they had a blast! Very communicative and flexible! She took really good care of them!

We're so glad we found Anna! She asked great questions, and sent updates and photos regularly. We'll definitely be going back to Anna the next time we need a dog sitter.

Maria and Kalyan are true doggy care experts. They took great care of Chaplin, helping to acclimate his puppy brain to the stress of visiting other people’s homes. They are incredibly professional and put me at ease immediately. Chaplin had an amazing time with them!

Beau takes great care of my pup and is very intentional about attuning quality care to the differing and evolving needs of my and others’ in his care!

We send our dog to play at Crystals when we want to do something really special for her— our dog loves Crystals house as much (or maybe more!) than her own/our house. She comes back happy and tired every time :)

Our 10 month old big puppy LOVES her time with Martha and the other dogs. She even got to play dress up today, greeting me at the door proudly wearing a lovely Easter outfit. Thank you!

Erica was great with my anxious dog! She did a wonderful job communicating and went above and beyond to make sure my pup was as comfortable as could be!
