About: I come from a family who has always had multiple pets at a time, with anywhere from 3 to 10 foster dogs under our care at any given time! I’ve cared for a wide range of dogs from smaller poodles and Shih tzus to much larger retrievers, border collies, and German shepherds. I have experience with cats as well, but much more lengthy experience taking care of dogs of different sizes and temperaments :) I am taking a break from work before starting grad school so I am pretty available this spring/summer outside of traveling every now and then to walk pets and house sit! I love taking long walks around Cambridge after work and would love to bring someone along with me :) I live on a residential campus so am unable to have a full time pet, I though I am eager and willing to board them short term and/or house sit to take care of your pets!

I had a Rover cancel last minute and Lauren saved the day by being very flexible and communicative. I usually like to do a meet and greet beforehand but the timing wouldn’t allow it given our calendars and the short timeline. Lauren made herself available to text and I felt comfortable leaving my home and pets in her care. She sent pictures everyday and I came home to a very kind note. Hope to book her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter!
It was such a relief having Hannah sit with our dog while in Rochester for an event which required our absence for long stretches of time. She was flexible with our schedule and sent us a video of how he settled in after we left. Joey has that “Pack Leader Aura” that dogs gravitate to. I have a BIG Bully dog that is very particular about who he allows to handle him. The big guy LOVED Joey immediately upon introduction. Joey has genuine affection for dogs and is a natural caregiver. I highly recommend him and will use him frequently.
Our pet sitter that we had for many years moved away and we needed to find someone. I had heard of Rover but did not know much about it. I decided to try it. When I read Komal’s information, I just had a good feeling about her. We had a meet and greet and I knew right away this was a good fit for my fur babies. My male golden retriever is a bit emotional, and she just knew what to do to calm him down. She sent us pictures daily and that was so important to me. She went above and beyond doing extra things around my house! She was so sweet to deal with. I threw her a lot of information, and she was very patient with me. I can’t recommend Izzy highly enough! She took exceptional care of my dog and cat while I was away. My dog can be a bit reactive, but Izzy handled her with calm confidence—walking her two to three times a day and playing enriching games to keep her engaged. She also made sure my cat was well entertained (even using a tablet!) and administered her medication with no trouble. When my flight home was unexpectedly canceled, Izzy rearranged her schedule and stayed an extra night without hesitation. It was such a relief to know my animals were safe, happy, and not alone during what turned out to be a stressful trip home. Izzy is reliable, caring, and clearly has a deep understanding of animals. I’m so grateful for her and wouldn’t hesitate to book her again.
