“Lauren did an excellent job at taking care of my 2 dachshunds while I was at work. My female is very shy and apprehensive. Some dog walkers in the have not been able to get her to go outside. Lauren had no problem. My male was born blind and deaf. He also has many health problems. She had no issues taking care of an elderly sick dog. I would recommend trusting your fur babies with her and I’ll certainly be using her again!”

“Theresa did an excellent job with our house visit (which involved two 35lb puppies!) She had no trouble following my directions and everything looks to have gone perfectly. I will definitely book again for future pet needs!”

“Kristine did a great job with Bo. She is very caring, detailed and thorough. He is a hound and of course found a piece of dead squirrel and would not let go. Kristine reacted perfectly and has a lot of knowledge and way with animals. She is very conscientious and handled the situation well. We are thankful that she is so caring and will definitely be using her again!”

About: I’ve always been a dog lover, so it was especially hard to move away from home the first time. Dog sitting lets me hangout with furry friends sure, but more importantly lets you feel secure knowing a fellow canine lover is looking out for your dog or dogs. I have experience with dogs large & small, know how to handle a leash puller, and don’t mind doggy kisses at all. I am currently job hunting, but have open availability throughout the week. Weekends work best, but I am flexible especially if you schedule ahead of time. Once I get a consistent job my hours will likely change. I have taken care of young energetic dogs and older ones too. I understand how dogs typically behave, but I also like to get more information about them from clients. This way I can fully know what special needs your furry friend may need. Additionally I am always happy to send updates as needed!

About: Hi, I’m Bridget—a lifelong animal lover with a heart for providing the same care and attention to your pets that I’d want for my own. Whether it’s a quick walk or an overnight stay, I’ll make sure your furry friend feels safe, loved, and entertained. I have experience with dogs and cats of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels- I have had animals all my life—from playful pups to mellow seniors. I’m patient, dependable, and always attentive to the unique needs of each pet. You can count on me to follow your instructions closely, send regular updates, and treat your pet like family. If you're looking for someone who will go the extra mile—whether it’s a longer walk, belly rubs, or just sitting quietly with a shy pet—I’m your person. I’m here to give you peace of mind while you’re away and make your pet’s day brighter. Let’s set up a meet and greet—I’d love to connect with you and your four-legged best friend! I live and work at the same place, which gives me the flexibility to provide dependable and attentive care for your pet throughout the day. I travel too often to have one of my own, and I truly miss the love and companionship animals bring. Caring for pets through Rover fills that gap in my life while allowing me to be a reliable, scheduled support for you. Whether it’s morning walks, evening check-ins, or weekend stays, I’m here to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and right at home. In my home, your pet will enjoy peace, safety, and plenty of love on 88 beautiful acres with no other animals or children around. My house is clean, calm, and organized—ideal for pets who need a quiet, stress-free environment. I tailor care to each pet’s unique needs, whether that means long walks, playtime, medication, or just cuddles and companionship. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I aim to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel secure and comfortable while you're away.

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them comes as naturally to me as breathing. I’ve grown up with dogs since I was a kid and currently have two of my own—both well-behaved and trained beyond just basic obedience, including fun tricks to keep them engaged. My full-time job keeps me surrounded by dogs who come in and out of the office. I also have a deep understanding of senior dog care, puppy care and canine nutrition, ensuring every pup in my care gets the best possible attention. When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me hiking with my dogs or planning our next dog-friendly adventure. I don’t have human kids, but my dogs are my world, and I’ll treat yours like family too! I currently have a full time job that I work 4 days a week so I’m available 3 days a week - Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. I will abide by the owners preference on letting their dog out as I understand everyone has their own way of handling this. If their yard is fenced and a simple open the door and go - that’s a plus but more than happy to put the leash on and go around!

About: Hi. I am a retired public school teacher. Tutoring fishing and traveling takes up a large chunk of my time now but I still have time to hang with the hounds. I absolutely love dogs and have been a multiple dog owner since I was a kid (I'm now in my 50's). I am also the “go to dog watcher/walker” when family and friends are away and hopefully can be for your dog at some time as well. Once I retire I plan on having even greater flexibility and more scheduling for my dog friends and their owners. Currently I have the summer off and have availability Mon through Sunday, mornings, afternoons and evenngs.Once the school year begins again at the end of August I will still be available late afternoons and evenings with boarding options Fri and Sat nights only. I am available for walking, watching and for those interested, boarding at our home. We presently have two dogs, both rescues ( a chihuahua and a whippet hybrid) and a fully fenced in backyard (70’ x 100’) that is very dog friendly and dog secure for those who need an overnight or a doggy day care option. Your dogs will be treated like our own. With love and respect. Our dogs have always been a part of our family and that level of love and care will be extended to any dog I am trusted to care for.

“Samantha was an absolute lifesaver! When we needed a last-minute dog sitter for our golden Pauly, she stepped up without hesitation. She managed to fit multiple check-ins into her schedule on short notice. Will be keeping her bookmarked for future occasions!”

“Once again, Michele was wonderful with Biscuit. She is very caring and communicative. It’s wonderful to be able to travel with a peace of mind, knowing that our pet is well cared for. We definitely recommend Michele as a pet care specialist.”

About: I have been taking pet sitting since high school. I have experience with lots of animals and was a vet tech for many summers during college. I have a degree in animal science and currently two dogs and a horse of my own! I love working on basic training and playing outside with pets. I also live next to a river where my dog loves to walk (or take a dip)! I also have experience with older dogs and medical needs. I work from home, so there is almost always someone here. My husband works outside the home, but we spend most nights at home. I go to the barn after work, but he arrives home shortly after I leave! I have one friendly dog that lives here full time. I still share custody with my siblings for our family dog, who is also friendly and spends the week here with me. They both love other dogs and are good with small to medium dogs. We can easily separate when needed.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 5 years old, always having at least one dog by my side. From playful puppies to senior dogs, I’ve gained years of hands-on experience with feeding, walking, bathing, and giving lots of love and attention. I have always treated my dogs like family and will treat yours the same way! It’s summer, so my schedule is wide open! I’m available mornings, afternoons, and evenings throughout the week. Whether you need daily walks or drop-ins, I can be flexible to fit your dog's needs. I provide pet care in your home to keep your dog comfortable in their own space. I have two dogs of my own that I care for daily, so I’m experienced with everything from feeding and walking to playtime and keeping routines consistent. I’ll treat your pup like one of my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.

About: Hello, My name is Caitlin, I am a Hunterdon County resident of 28 years. I am a professional and licensed massage therapist in the area. I am an absolute animal lover and I will never pass up an opportunity to spend time with the pups that I see along my travels. I love to advocate for the well-being and safety of animals and if I see something off- I will certainly do what I can to make things right. I want you to know that when I have your dog in my care, they will be treated like one of my own and given all the hugs and care they need. I will always be sure to keep you updated throughout my visit and keep open communication with anything you should know. I look forward to meeting your furry family member! I would be available on week day mornings and evenings. If drop ins are needed during the day- I can definitely work something out with my current job to stop in. I would spend time with your pup to make sure they get some play time and release energy from being stuck inside for most of the day.

About: I have taken care of the pets of my friend’s family and neighbors numerous times. I love all animals so I understand how important it is for the owner that the animal is well taken care of. I have fed, cleaned after, and played with the pets when the owners are away to ensure the animal’s happiness while alone. I understand what it is like to stress about the importance of a reliable sitter as I have a little dog of my own and I will treat your animal as if it were my baby because they are like little babies. I’m currently off from school and I have a job where I work 1-2 times a week normally in the mornings untill afternoon and I pick up my cousins from school to bring them home so I do not have much going on during the day which leaves me plenty of time for pet care I can feed and play with animals until they are satisfied and ensure the area to make sure they do not get into any accidents or create a mess knowing how curious and mischievous animals can be when left alone. For puppies I can teach them basic training and certain tricks if they comply as all dogs are different and do not like preforming certain tricks. The puppy teething stage does not scare me as I am used to and can try to train attention away from furniture towards their toys.
