“Christina did a great job. I had changed the cat food the day I left for my trip and it didn’t agree with his stomach. She cleaned up the vomit when he had a couple of accidents. Got back yesterday and he is happy and purring. Thank you Christina for taking such good care of my fur baby. I will definitely keep using her services.”

“We had such a wonderful experience with Jenny! She was caring, reliable, and clearly went above and beyond to make sure our cats were happy and comfortable. She even left treats for them, which was such a sweet extra touch! It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We would absolutely recommend her and will definitely book with her again! 🐾❤️”

“Cassidy was so friendly and helpful while we were out of town! Our pop-ins weren’t particularly exciting since our cats won’t come out for strangers, but she ensured that they were well fed and watered and her communication was exceptional. Thanks Cassidy!”

“We had a great experience with Stephanie and will absolutely book with her again. Communication was excellent, we received regular updates, and it was clear our pets were well cared for while we were away. We really appreciate the care provided and look forward to booking again in the future.”

“Elizabeth was kind and patient with my two little rescues as we transitioned through our new scheduled ! I really loved all the photos. She is helpful and always prompt to respond.”

“This was our first experience with Rover.com and with Arthur D.; we could not have been more pleased. We had recently and unexpectedly said goodbye to our four-year-old cat after a sudden illness, and we weren’t even sure we would be able to take our planned trip. Arthur went above and beyond, adjusting his schedule on very short notice to accommodate us. Communicating with Arthur through the Rover platform was as easy as replying to a text message. The updates following each visit far exceeded our expectations and included pictures of every pet, along with thoughtful details about their eating, behavior, and overall well-being. Arthur was attentive, dependable, and genuinely kind during a very difficult time for our family. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a compassionate and trustworthy caregiver for their pets.”
“I felt so confident about my cat Turtle’s care while I was away because Madison was watching her. She is very reliable and was so good to Turtle. She sent me lots of pictures and a little report twice a day on how Turtle was doing. I would definitely recommend Madison to anyone needing loving, attentive care for their kitties while they are away.”

“Alyssa has been great working with Melo on his weekly visits. She is very attentive and listens to my requests with Melo. We love Alyssa and look forward to booking with her for our drop in visits!”

“Tracy was absolutely amazing with our Beanie!! I would most definitely recommend her to anyone needing services for their fur babies. I will be using her any time we will be out of town from now on (if she's available).”

Amy has sat for us more than once and she does an excellent job. She's charmed my scaredy cat, administered medicine to the one that doesn't like it, and taken the adventurous third out on walks (my kitties favorite thing). We'll definitely ask her to sit again.

My cat is very shy and I was worried he would not come out of hiding to socialize while I was gone, but Scout was so amazing and patient with him! She gave him the time and space he needed to be comfortable and he liked her so much he even let her brush him! I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for my baby! I highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
