“We had such a wonderful experience with Jenny! She was caring, reliable, and clearly went above and beyond to make sure our cats were happy and comfortable. She even left treats for them, which was such a sweet extra touch! It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We would absolutely recommend her and will definitely book with her again! 🐾❤️”

“Christina did a great job with our cats while we were away. We have an older(14yr) and a younger cat (7yr), so each has different needs. Christina did everything we asked her to do. Will definitely be using Christina again!”

About: Although I'm new to the Rover platform, I've loved, raised, and cared for dogs (ranging in size from 10 to 90+ pounds, and of all ages) all of my life, and cats for years. I've employed others to care for our animals when we're away, so I know what level of care and communication clients expect. I know it's important for you to know that your pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for in your absence. Communication is a priority for me. I'll send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing how your pet is doing. My goal is for you to feel completely at ease and for your pet to feel happy, secure, and loved while you're away. I am a retired school teacher, so my schedule is flexible, and I can take the time to get to know each pet's individual personality, preferences, and routine. I've lived in this area for more than 30 years. I'm dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to treating your home and pets with the same care and respect I would expect for my own. I look forward to meeting you and providing a safe, positive experience for your furry family member! I am a (young and energetic) retiree, so my schedule can accommodate your needs. I am available every day of the week and can visit (feed, walk, play with, etc.) your pet(s) up to three times a day. You know your pet(s) best, so I will care for them exactly as you instruct me to. As a career educator, I'd compare my services to those of a good substitute teacher: you'll communicate the plan, and I'll faithfully carry it out. I'll send you regular updates while you're away. I love and genuinely enjoy spending time with all animals, and I understand how much you especially love your pet(s). Above all, that will inform the care I provide.

“We had a great experience with Stephanie and will absolutely book with her again. Communication was excellent, we received regular updates, and it was clear our pets were well cared for while we were away. We really appreciate the care provided and look forward to booking again in the future.”

“HIGHLY recommend Jemma! She was absolutely amazing! Our pup automatically fell in love with her when she came for our initial meet and greet. Jemma was extremely prompt and thorough with her visits and sent pictures. She loved our pup as if he were her own which made my heart so happy! Our pup is a senior and Jemma did great with him! She even loved on our cat when she came to visit which was greatly appreciated. I would definitely use Jemma’s services again and I would also highly recommend her. She gave me the peace of mind I needed to leave our pup.”
“This was our first experience with Rover.com and with Arthur D.; we could not have been more pleased. We had recently and unexpectedly said goodbye to our four-year-old cat after a sudden illness, and we weren’t even sure we would be able to take our planned trip. Arthur went above and beyond, adjusting his schedule on very short notice to accommodate us. Communicating with Arthur through the Rover platform was as easy as replying to a text message. The updates following each visit far exceeded our expectations and included pictures of every pet, along with thoughtful details about their eating, behavior, and overall well-being. Arthur was attentive, dependable, and genuinely kind during a very difficult time for our family. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a compassionate and trustworthy caregiver for their pets.”

“Alyssa has been great working with Melo on his weekly visits. She is very attentive and listens to my requests with Melo. We love Alyssa and look forward to booking with her for our drop in visits!”

“Tracy was absolutely amazing with our Beanie!! I would most definitely recommend her to anyone needing services for their fur babies. I will be using her any time we will be out of town from now on (if she's available).”

“Ella has been great with the pups stopping by multiple times a day and playing with them and treating them as her own she is great with the dogs I'll definitely be using her again...”

In my client’s home, I strive to maintain their normal schedule by providing fresh food and water, daily walks, exercise, playtime, medication administration (if needed), litter box or yard cleanup, and plenty of affection and companionship. I also keep the home tidy by cleaning up after pets, bringing in mail or packages, watering plants if requested, and ensuring the home remains secure while the owner is away. If caring for pets in my own home, I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment with regular feeding, exercise, enrichment activities, and constant supervision. I treat every pet like family, paying close attention to their behavior and well-being to ensure they feel happy, comfortable, and loved throughout their stay. My goal is to give pet owners peace of mind, knowing their pets are receiving reliable, personalized care.

Tracy did a fantastic job taking care of our four cats, including one 14 yr old who needs daily medication, two young boys who are full of energy, and one elusive female who likes to hide and keep to herself. She cleaned up after them, and the house looked like we had never left. I will definitely book this mother-daughter team again!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bethlehem. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
