HIGHLY recommend Jemma! She was absolutely amazing! Our pup automatically fell in love with her when she came for our initial meet and greet. Jemma was extremely prompt and thorough with her visits and sent pictures. She loved our pup as if he were her own which made my heart so happy! Our pup is a senior and Jemma did great with him! She even loved on our cat when she came to visit which was greatly appreciated. I would definitely use Jemma’s services again and I would also highly recommend her. She gave me the peace of mind I needed to leave our pup.

About: I've taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, and fish during middle school and high school as well as during breaks during college. Friends and family have relied on me to take care of their animals from as little as a weekend to as much as 2 weeks at a time. I am currently a student at Appalachian State University and have plenty of time in the morning, afternoon, and evening time frames to take care of animals. I do not currently have a pet-friendly residence, but I am capable of walking, feeding, and playing with animals at their homes and within their neighborhoods.

Kalie was wonderful with my high-energy, quirky & sometimes anxious pup! Capone was well cared for (fed, watered, played with & loved) and I came home to a happy boy after my trip. Kalie was on time for all appointments and spent the entire time I asked for with Capone. I enjoyed the photos she shared with me, and I would recommend her highly to care for your furry family members!

About: I’ve had experience with animals since I can remember. From having my own family pets growing up, to working in the animal field meeting new pets everyday, to owning my own today! I am very familiar with all ages of animals from newborns to seniors and as have experience in animal behavior. I also have experience with medication, animal handling, newborn care, and senior care! I look forward to helping out future pet families! I work a full time job but have ample time every morning, late afternoon, and early evening to care for your pets! I am always flexible and willing to fit it into my schedule if I am able to. I care for others pets as I would my own. My pets mean everything to me and I know how stressful and nerve wracking it can be to have to leave them in the hands of another person. If I can help alleviate that for others then I have done my job! I am very organized, detail oriented, and reliable.

About: My life is enriched by animals. I love them so much, and I would love to meet yours. I work from home, so I have a lot of time to care for your furry friend while you are away. I am a huge animal lover and was raised to love and care for animals. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, donkeys, chickens, and highland cows. I can provide care and companionship for your beloved pet while you are away so you can have a relaxed, worry-free time. I am trust-worthy and reliable, and I can assure you that your pet(s) will be in good hands. I have a flexible schedule. I can accommodate you and your animals schedule. I can also be available last minute and drop everything in case of emergency. I follow your directions. I will not do anything you are uncomfortable with. I prefer to live on the safe and cautious side of things and not to do anything to put animals or self in harms way. I can provide daily updates, pictures, texts or emails - whatever you want.

About: I have loved animals since I was a small pea. Additionally, I’m in school to become a Veterinarian! I have experience with a variety of animals! I’ve had my own sugar gliders, as well as a python! I’ve taken care of a parrot and a Rosie-cheek bird! At home, we have 2 dogs and 1 cat. I would say I am the primary caretaker of them, I wash them, feed them, clip their nails, and deal with ear infections! The kinds of dogs I’ve had experience with are but not limited to: Golden doodles, tea cup yorkies, chihuahuas, Shih Tzu, pit bulls, huskies, etc. I am able to adjust to your fur babies personality! Whether they are a more mellow and chill type, or hyperactive and love to play! And of course, anything I might find concerning I would be reporting to you! I assure you that your pet is in probably the best care that it could be in! I’m currently working a part-time job and I’m a college student [but on summer break]! My schedule just depends on what days and time I work at my other job! But I love animals so much that I guarantee I will find a way to be with your fur baby! I am more than willing to take dogs or cats on a walk, as I am a very active person! I also enjoy little car rides with them or going to dog parks! The way I care for your pet is primarily determined by what you have for them and their environment! If any doggies or cats are brought to my house then they would get to meet my own doggies and I have a very very spacious backyard! However it is not fenced in!

Tracy did a fantastic job taking care of our four cats, including one 14 yr old who needs daily medication, two young boys who are full of energy, and one elusive female who likes to hide and keep to herself. She cleaned up after them, and the house looked like we had never left. I will definitely book this mother-daughter team again!

As of July 2026, there are 275 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Bethlehem. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bethlehem. On Rover:

  • 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
