About: I've taken care of both cats and dogs. Puppies, kittens, and senior animals are welcome. I am familiar with basic first aid and am familiar with the body language of most dogs. I do work full time during the week so weekends and non-business hours are best for me. I can easily serve the Catawba County area. I have reliable transportation. I am also available on most federal holidays. I'm happy to provide photos delivered electronically for each visit. I am clean and you can trust that your pets and welfare of your home are my top priority.

About: I have owned and cared for just about any domestic animal you can think of, from dogs and cats of every size to lizards, frogs and even cows! I enjoy playing and training or just cuddling and providing reassurance and support for animals who may need a little extra TLC. I currently have 2 dogs and 2 cats and each day after work we do outside play time, brain games and then some cuddles before bed. I understand that in this day and age there are many people who work late who may not be able to provide that type of care for their animals later in the day and I am looking to help in that area! With any animal it is important to know that they all have their own personalities and some may be outgoing but not all are and that is okay! I would love to spend time working together through training, or just spending quality time with your animal to build a trusting, happy relationship. I want them to be excited for visits and look as forward to them as I would!

About: I have watched a friend’s mature dog in her home while a family member was hospitalized. I have always had rescue animals in my home it is always been a priority for me to love animals and treat them with the respect that is so well-deserved. I have two rescue kitties that I care for every day. I am semi retired, spend special time with my fur babies and exercise every day. I would like to rescue a dog, but if I could spend time and love other people's pets, it would be a very rewarding experience. Since I have two kitties, I prefer to care for pets in the clients homes. My one kitty is 16 years old and I don’t want to subject her to change an environment. Every morning, I am greeted by my kitties, before eating breakfast I give them their morning treats. After exercising in the afternoon, it is dinner time for them so I feed them, they nap and then we bond later in the evening, while one sits near me and the other one sits on my lap. Having cared for several dogs in the past, I take them for walks, engage in playtime and take time to bond. At one point in my lifetime I had three rescue dogs who all got along famously. They were an extension of my family and sadly, eventually passed from old age. I will love your dogs in the same way and treat them with kindness and respect. Their comfort and security are my main concern, along with your peace of mind, knowing that they are safe and secure.

About: Picture this: you love your working breed dog... but they can be a boarder's nightmare. Does it make you nervous that they won't get enough stimulation while you're away? You can rest assured dogs with me will get 2-3 miles of trails a day along with 2+ hours (more on weekends!) of supervised play time with an equally energetic husky. Along with structured crate time to decompress. I've dealt with the worst of leash pullers and have trained my own dogs with high expectations of good behavior. You don't have to worry about your pup loosing manners or reverting to bad behaviors while you're away! I can reinforce proper training while he/she enjoys vacation at a beautiful hideaway with miles of private woods, right on the lake for some water play when it's hot! Your pet's schedule: 7-9am: breakfast! 1-2 miles of trails 9-12pm: crate time with options of mental stimulation toys and food toys 12-1pm: potty break and inside or outside supervised play time with my dog 1-5pm: crate time 5pm: dinner time and evening walks 6pm-bedtime: supervised time around the house, options to interact with other pets, myself, household members. Bedtime: crate or bed if they prefer Note: this is based on my regular daily work schedule for weekdays and weekends. Some flexibility on time frames, excersize amounts, etc are possible. Just ask and let's see if can work something out! I have a high focus on making sure every animal gets adequate amounts of physical and mental stimulation. If your dog has needs outside of what I have listed, let's have a conversation! Crating is required while I or my husband is not in the house. Your dog will be crated in a low stimulation environment away from other animals for proper decompression time. And will never be longer than 4 hours during the day.

About: Although I'm new to the Rover platform, I've loved, raised, and cared for dogs (ranging in size from 10 to 90+ pounds, and of all ages) all of my life, and cats for years. I've employed others to care for our animals when we're away, so I know what level of care and communication clients expect. I'll send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing how your pet is doing. My goal is for you to feel completely at ease and for your pet to feel happy, secure, and loved while you're away. I am a retired school teacher, so my schedule is flexible, and I can take the time to get to know each pet's individual personality, preferences, and routine. I've lived in this area for more than 30 years. I'm dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to treating your home and pets with the same care and respect I would expect for my own. I look forward to meeting you and providing a safe, positive experience for your furry family member! I am a (young and energetic) retiree, so my schedule can accommodate your needs. I am available every day of the week and can visit (feed, walk, play with, etc.) your pet(s) up to three times a day. You know your pet(s) best, so I will care for them exactly as you instruct me to. As a career educator, I'd compare my services to those of a good substitute teacher: you'll communicate the plan, and I'll faithfully carry it out. I'll send you regular updates while you're away. I love and genuinely enjoy spending time with all animals, and I understand how much you especially love your pet(s). Above all, that will inform the care I provide.

About: I grew up in a family who had 2 dogs and 2 cats at a minimum at any one time. So having pets was the norm and caring for them was something my parents instilled in us from an early age. So the love of animals is a deep need. When I moved to NC 12 years ago to care for my mom and aunt I decided I needed something for me..that was pet sitting..it brought me joy and peace..over the last few years my client base dwindled due to age of clients and pets and my responsibilities for my mom and aunt made it so I didnt have the opportunity to pet sit. But now my circumstances have changed and I have moved to a new part of NC and I'm ready to start over again and am excited to find new clients to have fun with! About: Reliable and detailed oriented! I will get to know their personal needs , personality, and what works for them! Your pets second favorite human lol I am a body piercer. I work 10 minutes away from my home. I have a set time to take my puppy out as he is still going through potty training My apartment is pretty open for the fur babies to room around and I have a small fur baby of my own that can play with! There is a big area of grass around my complex where they can go potty and play and a dog park right up the street.
