This was our first time using Rover. So we weren’t sure of so much of the process and how to find the “right” person. Jemma was so kind and patient with us and our animals. Her task was to care for five fur babies, two older dogs and three cats, one of which is 17 years old. Which let’s admit, is a lot for one person. She took time to come meet us all and my dogs who are very quirky and set in their ways, immediately were at ease with her. She didn’t hesitate for a second. She developed a great rapport with us and our animals. Most importantly, while we were away, she did a great job caring for everyone and communicated constantly with us. She kept everyone’s routine which meant everyone was comfortable and happy while we were away. We will continue to ask Jemma to help us care for our babies in the future. We are grateful to have found Jemma. She is awesome.

About: Hi, I'm Jenny. I'm so excited to meet & care for your loved ones. Animals have been at the center of my life for more than 20 years. I spent five years working with a humane society, assisting with adoptions, foster programs, and cruelty cases, and I have fostered countless cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies throughout the years. This experience has given me the skills to care for pets of all ages, personalities, and needs. Pet sitting is now my primary focus, allowing me to provide dependable care, flexible scheduling, and plenty of one-on-one attention. Whether your pet needs exercise, companionship, medication, or extra patience and support, I will tailor my care to their individual needs. I have experience administering medications and caring for senior and special-needs pets, who hold a special place in my heart. Friends often joke that I'm a "cat whisperer" because cats tend to warm up to me quickly, but I love dogs and cats equally. When your pet is in my care, you can expect reliable communication, compassion, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing they are receiving attentive, experienced care and plenty of love while you're away. I look forward to becoming your pet's next best friend! Since pet care is my full-time commitment. I'm available for daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday care. I dedicate my full attention, allowing me to be flexible and available when you and your pets need me. I can easily accommodate small dogs in my townhouse. I have a large deck to lounge around and plenty of areas to walk your pet & keep them safe. I offer flexible services to fit your pet's needs and your schedule, including drop-in visits, walks, playtime, feeding, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. I can accommodate cats and kittens in my home if needed; however, most cats are happiest and least stressed when cared for in their own environment. Staying in a familiar space helps them maintain their routine and feel secure while you're away.

Very professional with written care plan and taking notes during meet & greet. Really appreciated the attention to detail. Brought a concern with one of the community cats to our concern and even asked is she needed to do anything. Really observant and present when she was on her visits with our guys. Absolutely recommend her as a caregiver.

About: I have taken care of my friends and neighbors pets (cats and dogs) over the past few years when they have went on vacation and not only did I enjoy the company, but the pets also enjoyed having me there to give them attention while their owner was away, especially when it came to getting pets and food. Over the summer, I can pretty much work every day of the week except most Sundays unless special arrangements are made. I can work early mornings like 5 AM to 10 PM on weekdays and most Saturdays unless stated otherwise. when I am at a client’s home, I will make sure that the pet is comfortable with me and does not feel nervous or scared, as well as making sure they have a safe environment to play in whether that be inside or outside, making sure that no dangerous obstacles are in their way, and I will also make sure that their food and water is safe to consume.

About: I've taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, and fish during middle school and high school as well as during breaks during college. Friends and family have relied on me to take care of their animals from as little as a weekend to as much as 2 weeks at a time. I am currently a student at Appalachian State University and have plenty of time in the morning, afternoon, and evening time frames to take care of animals. I do not currently have a pet-friendly residence, but I am capable of walking, feeding, and playing with animals at their homes and within their neighborhoods.

I can also come to your home to care for your pets if that is something that is more comfortable for the pet owner. I work from home and have a flexible schedule for the most part. Contact me with any questions. Thanks! I’m currently working part time and can make my Own schedule which allows me to be easily flexible for you and your precious fur baby I care for pets within their home and make sure they are visited frequently/cared for and feel comfortable while their humans are out of town

About: Hi! I have 5+ years of professional animal care experience between working in a canine boarding facility then in veterinary medicine. I've been fortunate enough to love and care for a variety of pets all the way from fish and lizards to turkeys and goats. I understand that leaving our precious animals in the care of a stranger can be quiet nerve wracking. You can rest assured that when your pet is in my care they'll be treated as if they're my own. I currently work 3 days a week at a veterinary ER. I have availability for drop-in visits before or after work as well as almost any time on my days off. My veterinary experience, personal pet experience, and numerous certificates in the animal field allow me to thoroughly care for your pet(s). I am confident in offering services as simple as litter box changes all the way up to special needs medical pet sitting.

I own a cat who I love to play with, cuddle and lay around the house with. I only work 4 days of the week 9-5, so I have ample time to pet sit, drop in for care or go for walks! I treat every pet with love as if they are my own and make sure to give them everything they need. Their happiness is very important to me

About: I’ve always had pets of my own and cared for others like they are my own. making pets feel safe and loved is my goal. Pets are aren’t just looked after while I am with them, they are genuinely cared for and makes me happy to love on them. I am currently working part time taking care of elderly patients in their homes so I would be free to work pet sitting also whenever it’s needed. I can care for pets in their home where I know they will be most comfortable but if they are able to go to the parks and such i would be glad to takes them on hikes and things that would be appropriate for them to have some extra fun.
