About: I have been a in-home pet sitter for the past six years for a medium size dog who had special needs as a puppy. I also am a pet photographer and have done pet portraits and holiday cards! I recently lost my beloved dog Zoey, who I had for over 12 years. I love dogs deeply, and welcome them into my home. I am available on a part time basis with more availability during the summer months. Weekends are ideal but I can be available after 5pm on weekdays or early morning. I am well equipped to medicate, feed, and walk your fur baby I do mostly full-time at the animal hospital, but will have some free days to take care of your dog, cat, or any small pets. About: I’ve had cats and dogs most of my life and love working with all kinds of animals. I have experience working with my aunt at her dog kennel. I’ve handled breeds of various sizes with different personalities including Rottweilers and Pibull mixes.I’m always prepared for the unexpected and willing to care for and treat your pets as if they were my own! I also have experience in administering medication if necessary and will always honor special request requests for your canine companion. About: I have been around dogs for most of my life, having owned two dogs from ages 6-20, and I have since gained hands-on experience caring for pets with a wide range of personalities, ages and needs. I’ve pet sat for both cats and dogs, including caring for four cats and two dogs at once, managing litter boxes, wet and dry food routines, playtime and plenty of attention and affection. I also have experience administering oral medications and eye drops to dogs. One experience especially that sets me apart is caring for a Catahoula Leopard dog who was paralyzed in her hind legs, which involved expressing her bladder and assisting with her mobility alongside caring for another dog in the home. Elizabeth has done a number of drop-in visits for my 2 dogs and she does a great job in checking in on them, giving them some play time and of course assuring they are getting some time to be outside. She communicates very well and from the pictures I know my dogs are having a lot of fun during the pop-in visits. I highly recommend her for taking care of your pets!
Alex was wonderful. I can’t recommend him enough! He took amazing care of my dog while we were away and treated her like she was his own. She can be stubborn on walks, but he was incredibly patient and somehow got her walking calmly and politely on a leash. It was obvious he genuinely cared about her and took the time to work with her instead of just watching her. I came home to a happy, well-cared-for dog, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I’ll definitely be using him again and would recommend him to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, knowledgeable, and great with dogs.

Stephanie took great care of my two cats, Oreo and Nala, while I was away. She followed all of my instructions and made sure their routines were kept consistent, which I really appreciated. Oreo is a social butterfly and enjoyed her company right away. What impressed me most was seeing my shy girl Nala slowly come out of her shell. By the last couple of visits she was rubbing against Stephanie and even allowing pets, which is a big deal for her. That alone speaks volumes to me. Stephanie also shared photos during the visits and kept things running smoothly while I was gone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
