“OOO my goodness Laura and her family are simply amazing. My rescue puppy is very human attached and they took her on walks. They cuddled her. They have a safe yard. The communication was amazing. I cannot even tell you how comfortable I was leaving my fur child with them and I will use them over and over and over again. I wish I could stay with them and have them babysit me. LOL love love love them!!!!”

“Nothing but great things to say! We met with Jasmine before leaving our dog and during her stay received great updates and pictures as to how she was doing. We had an unexpected change in itinerary and she was super flexible! Clean house, great outdoor space, kind humans 😊 We will definitely bring our dog back! Thank you Jasmine!”

About: I have 10+ years experience in animal welfare, I’ve worked at a nonprofit animal shelter for 7 years where I studied animal behavior and socialized with feared cats and dogs that were placed at the shelter, I showed all animals love and affection to help them over come their fear and were able to get adopted, I fostered hundreds of pets for the shelter and rescues. I’m becoming a positive base personal dog trainer. I also have experience in a caring for senior and disabled pets and have knowledge of most common medical needs. I’m available anytime during the week including weekends and will work around your schedule. I’m at home most of the time unless I’m out adventuring with the dogs. I do own cats and they stay in a sectioned area of the house to keep all pets safe and comfortable. All my pets are vaccinated and spayed/neutered. I provide a completely safe and supervised stay for your pooches. I have a fully fenced yard and room to care for multiple dogs indoors and outdoors. I’m very experienced in animal behavior and currently taking classes for dog training, I offer personalized feeding schedules, exercise and pupdates on your request. “This was my very first Rover experience and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter than Charity! From the start, she was so sweet and thoughtful, sending updates and pictures that really helped ease my nerves about leaving my pup. She could probably tell I was a little anxious, but her kindness and communication gave me total peace of mind. 🥰 She even went above and beyond by accommodating a last-minute stay when our plans changed unexpectedly — something I was so grateful for. It’s clear she truly cares, and I’ll definitely be booking with her again in the future. ❤️ 10/10 recommend Charity to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and wonderful sitter! (Her husband was awesome too!)”

“Yesenia was great with our energetic 8 mo old Cockapoo Molly! We were concerned because she's learning her manners and very excitable. Yesenia was very confident during our meet and greet and was not put off by Molly's checking out her home. Will definitely use Yesenia again!❤”

“Cindy and her family were great! They kept us up to date with everything. They sent pictures periodically throughout the day. Outside of Sheba’s injury, which was no one’s fault, I would use and recommend Cindy.”

“I recommend Emily as a very good sitter for your pet. She takes the time to send you updates of your pet and also any concerns, if any, that she may have promptly. You will feel at ease knowing that your pet is in good hands.”

“Dana was a wonderful choice to watch our cat. When we came to pick him up, we could see he had bonded with her. Dana was quick to respond to our questions, sent pictures and updates on how he was doing with her. Her home is immaculate and welcoming for pets. She had all of our cats food and belongings bagged up and ready for us when we got to her home. Excellent choice, we highly recommend Dana.”

“Dakota took the best care of our one year old Great Dane, Harley. She was happy go lucky when we arrived to pick her up and tired the whole way home from all of her playing at Dakotas. Thanks Dakota...we will definitely connect again to have you watch our four legged baby 🩷 🐕 🩷!! Erin and Ben”

“As a first time user of Rover, I was super nervous and had so many questions. Raelena was patient and understanding of my first time jitters and took the time to answer all my questions. She was so sweet to our fur baby Nova and took great care of her so that we could go enjoy our weekend out of town. I would absolutely love having Raelena watch Nova for us again. And I truly appreciated the pictures and updates throughout the weekend.”

“This was our first time leaving our puppy with someone and Cynthia was so nice! I received messages from her daily along with pictures and videos. When I picked my puppy back up, he seemed well taken care of and tired out, which is hard to do. We will definitely be using her again!”

“Paola was absolutely terrific! She took excellent care of our active puppy including plenty of walks and playtime! She even worked on training to make feeding time easier. I loved getting daily updates and pics of our happy pup! I highly recommend Paola- she gave the best care and lots of love!”

I left Orion from Tuesday to Tuesday, and throughout the entire stay he looked so happy in all the photos and updates. He even found a friend in Hunter. I was honestly a little worried that after such a fun “vacation” he wouldn’t even be excited to see me again when I picked him up. That made me very happy because it showed me how comfortable and safe he felt there. I’m very grateful to Arianna & Alexander for taking such good care of Orion. After this experience, I feel much more confident planning future vacations knowing I found a place where my baby Orion can also be happy, safe, and well cared for. Thank you again for everything.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
