Experienced, loving care for pets
I provide reliable care for both cats and dogs backed by years of hands-on work. My goal is a comfortable, no-stress experience for both you and your pet. I’ve worked with several animal rescues over the years and regularly foster animals in need. I’ve handled animals with many kinds of special needs, from bottle-feeding kittens to administering mediations to seniors. I also care for feral cats, so animals who are feisty don’t faze me! I truly love getting to know each pet I watch and making them feel as comfortable as possible while their family is away. I do my best to keep your pet(s) on their usual routine while you’re away, and always provide them with loving care. I’m patient and adaptable, personalizing care to each pet, whether that means playtime, cozy snuggles, or just keeping a calm presence nearby. I’m happy to communicate updates as much or as little as you prefer, and will send you photos so you can relax knowing your pets are safe and comfortable. Charity and Matt were amazing and my 2 pups loved staying with them. I hate being away from my babies, but Charity sent me updates, photos, and always responded quickly to my messages making me feel much more at ease. We definitely would choose them to watch our babies again!
Everything was great and our dogs were well taken care of! We have three dogs that we like to keep together, and Charity had a clean dedicated space to accommodate them. I also got updates with pictures and videos each day which I loved. Highly recommend!
I get really nervous with people when it come to my baby! She don’t leave me & I don’t leave her! Even at WORK. lol I never had to have nobody ever watch her in life. I always take her everywhere with me so the idea of me leaving her with somebody else gave me anxiety. But I knew this was gonna be the one that she wasn’t gonna be able to go with me and if I could’ve canceled my position at that event, I would have stayed with my baby! I was really nervous dropping her off. As soon as we got to the there the sitter was so wonderful & understanding. I loved her set up of her! I could tell when I pick my baby up she I could tell she enjoyed herself. I like that they always kept me updated on everything that she was doing, always sent pictures & videos. Any questions that I have like is she eating OK? How is she feeling? They have no problem keeping in touch with me with (Her) which made me more at ease throughout. And I can truly say officially my baby will be back. 😊😊

This was my very first Rover experience and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter than Charity! From the start, she was so sweet and thoughtful, sending updates and pictures that really helped ease my nerves about leaving my pup. She could probably tell I was a little anxious, but her kindness and communication gave me total peace of mind. 🥰 She even went above and beyond by accommodating a last-minute stay when our plans changed unexpectedly — something I was so grateful for. It’s clear she truly cares, and I’ll definitely be booking with her again in the future. ❤️ 10/10 recommend Charity to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and wonderful sitter! (Her husband was awesome too!)

Schedule
I work remotely from home. Caring for pets and spending time with them is something I have the luxury of doing throughout the day. The other work I do is flexible so caring for animals is my top priority.

Safety, trust & environment
When boarding your pet, I provide a dedicated, comfortable space just for them, with everything they need to feel safe and at home. Each pet gets their own room (unless there are multiple from the same household) in a sanitized area, complete with cozy bedding, toys, and anything specific to their care. For dogs, I have a spacious, secure backyard where they can enjoy playtime and walks. I take the time to ensure they’re comfortable, relaxed, and loved while they’re away from home. When caring for your pet at your home, I stick to their routine, including feeding, medication, and plenty of playtime and affection. I respect your home and any guidelines you provide, making sure your pet feels safe, secure, and cherished while you’re away. And if you’d like, I’ll gladly share photo or video updates with you! I know how hard it is missing your babies when you’re away, and I’d love to help you feel at ease and show you they’re being well cared for.

A typical day
Each pet is unique, and I take the time to get to know them, adapting to their individual needs and preferences. For cats, I love giving them affection if they’re comfortable warming up to me, plus offering enrichment activities like interactive toys, feather wands, or puzzle feeders. For dogs, I love utilizing my large backyard to take them for walks and give them space to play and have fun. I love spending quality time with pets, whether it's cuddling, grooming, or simply providing a relaxing environment. I also make sure to follow any specific care instructions, ensuring they feel safe and content throughout the day.
