About: My focus is entirely on keeping your pup’s routine predictable and stress-free. As the owner of a reactive 20lb dog (which my boyfriend stays with when I dog sit) who fluctuates between needing cuddles and needing alone time, I don’t just love dogs, I feel that I understand them. I’ve spent years learning to read the subtle body language that tells me when a dog is overwhelmed, in need of reassurance, or just needs a quiet corner to decompress. Because of my experience, I specialize in the "slow melt." If your pup is shy or moody, I don’t force interaction. My go to move is sitting on the floor and letting them come to me on their terms. Whether it’s a well placed treat (diet permitting) or simply offering a calm, "zen" presence, I let your dog set the pace for our friendship. What you can expect: Small Dog Expertise: Growing up with a 5lb toy poodle and now raising a 20lb pup, I’m well versed in the "big personalities" and specific needs of tiny pups. Respect for Your Space: When dog sitting in your home, I am quiet and respectful. I provide a calm environment for your pet, but I’m always ready to transition into full play mode if they have the energy to burn! Safety First: Because I know how flighty anxious dogs can be, I am hyper vigilant about security, harnesses, and environment control. Reading the Room: Whether your dog is a "sassy" soul with a big attitude or a quiet wallflower, I know exactly when to give them space and when to provide the affection they crave. I’m here to give your dog a stress-free experience and give you total peace of mind. I can’t wait to meet your sassy or shy best friend! I work from home and can be there for your pup for any day and any time! If I am sitting I will spend all of my time on your couch with your pup while I’m working and will be available for mid day or morning walks along with afternoon! Because I have a dog of my own at home, I only dog sit in the dog’s home! I am a bit of a “neat freak” and will ensure your home is nice and tidy for you to relax and spend time with your pup when you return!

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and genuinely love getting to know each one’s personality. I grew up with a dachshund for nearly 14 years, which taught me the responsibility and consistency that great pet care requires. As I got older, my dad and I also hosted dogs through Rover in our home, so I’m very familiar with caring for dogs in a home environment, helping them adjust to new spaces, and keeping them comfortable while their owners are away. I also have hands-on experience working in a dog daycare, where I supervised playgroups of 20+ dogs at a time. I managed group dynamics, kept play safe and positive, handled feeding routines, cleaned up after dogs, and moved them between spaces. That experience made me very confident in reading dog body language and stepping in early to keep things fun and safe. I’m active and love walks, playtime, and just hanging out with dogs. Whether your pup wants to run around or relax and get attention, I’m happy to match their energy. I also love sending photo updates so you can see how they’re doing! I’m a CMU student who loves spending time with animals outside of class. My schedule allows me to be available throughout the week and on weekends for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and will make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and care while you’re away. Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. I pay close attention to behavior and surroundings, so I can keep things safe, calm, and positive. On walks, I stay aware of other dogs, people, and anything that might be stressful or overstimulating. During home visits, I stick closely to your dog’s routine so they feel comfortable and secure. Because of my daycare experience, I’m confident handling multiple dogs, recognizing early signs of stress, and adjusting quickly to prevent issues. I’ll also keep you updated so you always know your pup is happy and in good hands.

About: I grew up with a reactive black lab, so I know how to handle leash pulling and how to deescalate and prevent fights. In her old age, I learned to accommodate her failing joints. I’ve been trained at the Licking County Humane Society in Ohio as a volunteer dog walker, which has well equipped me to understand and respond respectfully to dog language. I further pursue this knowledge by reading about how dogs communicate with us, and by observing and analyzing their behavior both in real life and online. This will be my primary commitment, so I can easily cater to your schedule to fit your pets needs. Mornings, evenings, weekends, whatever you need, except Thursdays :) I will take great care to follow your instructions and respect the rules of your home and needs of your animal(s). I cannot accept boarding in my own home at the moment.
