“This was our second time booking with G’la, and once again, she absolutely knocked it out of the park! She took care of our dog Finn and cat Tuna while we were in Mexico for our wedding, and knowing they were with someone they already loved made all the difference. Our boys adore her! It’s clear they feel safe, spoiled, and totally at home in her care. She kept us updated with sweet photos and thoughtful check-ins, and we came home to two very happy pets (and a clean house!). G’la is trustworthy, kind, and just really gets animals. We wouldn’t leave Finn and Tuna with anyone else. Five stars, every time!”

“Victoria was an excellent sitter! She did a great job taking care of our very energetic dog and was communicative throughout our trip. Would definitely recommend her!”

“This was our first time using Rover and we loved having Qishu watch our dogs overnight. She sent lots of photos throughout her stay with our dogs. One of our dogs is anxious and leash-reactive, and we didn’t hear of any issues. She kept our condo clean and was very communicative. We highly recommend her.”

“Dennis did an awesome job caring for our special needs dog who suffers from DM. Our dog needs the assistance of a wheelchair for mobility, and Dennis took on the challenge confidently- with patience and understanding. He sent plenty of pictures and updates, and followed our instructions perfectly. I highly recommend!”

“Dane agreed to dog sit for me at the last minute when my dog was having some health issues and I was worried about leaving him alone. Dane was so positive, friendly, and attentive! I will definitely seek him out in the future with any dog sitting needs.”

“Cathy is very communicative and I did not stress knowing she was taking care of things on my homefront. She's very nice and my house was pristine when I came home. Thanks Cathy!!!”

“Korin was amazing as usual. She took great care of our pup while we were away and shared regular updates/photos. Louie loved playing with her and was clearly tired and happy when we got home. Thanks, Korin!”

About: With 10+ years of animal care experience — including 4 years as a veterinary assistant — I’m especially experienced with seniors, anxious or shy pets, and those needing medications or extra TLC. I’m reliable, calm under pressure, and treat every pet like my own. Providing care for pets fits naturally into my lifestyle — my schedule is intentionally flexible so I can be available when your pets need me most. Whether you need help during long workdays, weekend trips, or last-minute schedule changes, I’m happy to accommodate a wide range of needs. Let me know what your pet’s routine looks like — I’ll do my best to match it, so they feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away. Within the client's home, I do everything I can to make their pets feel safe, seen, and loved. I know how important it is to maintain their routine and environment, especially for pets who thrive on familiarity. I take time to build trust, go at their pace, and make sure they feel comfortable with me in their space. Whether it’s a quick drop-in, extended visit, or overnight stay, I’m respectful of both your home and your pet’s boundaries. I always follow instructions carefully, provide updates along the way, and make sure your pet is happy, secure, and well cared for while you’re away. For the health and safety of your pet, I kindly ask that clients provide their own grooming tools — including brushes, combs, nail clippers, styptic powder, and any other essentials your pet is familiar with. Using your pet’s personal tools helps prevent the spread of bacteria, and ensures a safe, and hygienic experience. Your pet’s safety and your peace of mind are always my top priorities.

“Nicole was fabulous! my inbox stayed busy with postings about what was happening back home with my little dog, starting with his sadness at my departure, on through his playtimes and walks and naps until the last night when he moved into bed with Nicole, sign of total surrender to her charms! Each posting included wonderful photos so that by the end I had a portfolio as if from a professional photo-shoot! memories to treasure! I was welcomed home by a happy, healthy pooch I had been hesitant to leave with anyone --thanks to Nicole, he did great!”

I also have experience pet sitting from my college days and love animals of all kinds. Whether your dog prefers hiking trails or lounging at home, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. I’m reliable, grounded, and kind-hearted, with a strong attention to detail, I’m comfortable following specific feeding routines, administering medications, and respecting whatever schedule your pet is used to. I’m genuinely excited to care for your furry family member and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well looked after while you're away. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to play with your pups or hang out with your kitties and give them the attention they deserve. Let me know about any special needs or preferences your pet has, including toys, walking or play styles. I'm happy to accommodate them on my visits. “Daria was a great dog/house sitter, even with a last-minute booking and a sick dog. She watched our dog for over a week and even did an unexpected vet visit when she wasn’t feeling well and needed extra tests and adjustment in her medications. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing our dog was in good hands!”

About: One of my first memories is of adopting a stray that we named Chiqule (Gum, in Spanish) because he decided to stick around. Ever since then I’ve picked up many of our four legged friends and made them family dogs. Many years since having my own pet, my love for our furry friends has yet to dwindle and I continue to pet-sit and house-sit just for the opportunity to hang in with a little fur ball. I have experience with a small senior dogs and dogs who have required medication, 3+ walks a day, or an extensive park visit. I’ve house-sat and makes sure to build my schedule around my four-legged, temporary bestie to ensure a stress-free time. I like to establish constant communication and updates with the pet-parent to make sure all is well. I regard play time highly but makes sure to only ruff-house and much as per-parent sees fit. Cuddles are optional but recommended. I my work hours are 8:30-5 but travel form Berkeley to Hayward so I can pop in within that 15 mile radius! My weekends are a lot more flexible. I make sure to follow a requested guideline and/or care checklist from pet-parents. I make sure to scope out the potential yard for any hazards and establish some trust with pets before going out on our first walk. If treats are allowed or provided, I will reward my furry friend when I see best on our initial walks to establish trust and respect. Play-time is important and can also be carried out as the pet-parent sees fit.

“Diana helped us out last minute by watching Ralphie a few days before Christmas. She communicated regularly with us throughout the stay and brought walking outfits for Ralphie. We’re very grateful to her!”

Alison is absolutely wonderful! She took such loving care of our two dogs, and we could tell they were happy and comfortable while we were away. She was reliable, attentive, and trustworthy. We came home to happy pups. I live in the San Diego area and I am sad that Alison doesn’t live closer to us, but will definitely ask her to sit for our pups next time we’re in San Francisco! We would recommend Alison to anyone looking for a caring sitter—she’s the best!”

She was also willing to stay at our house. She's a great communicator. She let us know how things were going during each day. I highly recommend her.

This was our second time booking with G’la, and once again, she absolutely knocked it out of the park! Daria was a great dog/house sitter, even with a last-minute booking and a sick dog. Madeline was great! She is very responsive and proactive. In-depth reports at end of each day and cute photos. We appreciated her robust pet intelligence and kindness with our pup. He seemed to have enjoyed his time with her. We would certainly use Madeline again in the future.

I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter! Leo took amazing care of my 12-year old dog Jasper while I was away and made sure he was comfortable and well loved the entire time. It was such a relief to receive daily photo updates—some were adorable, and others were downright hilarious! It was clear Jasper was in great hands and enjoying himself. On top of that, he went above and beyond by tidying up around the house. Everything was neat and clean when I got home, and I could tell he had even vacuumed. It was such a thoughtful touch to return to a clean space after traveling. I highly recommend him and would absolutely trust him with my dog again!

Five stars as usual! Njeri is very detail oriented and gives our elderly dog great care! She is also considerate and flexible to work with!

Nia came through and saved the day! I couldn't have picked a better sitter for my boys. On top of being super responsive and accepting a relatively last minute booking, she also was very personable and kind. I was so thankful that despite not feeling 100%, she still watched my dogs. I think I can speak for Zeke and Smush in saying we are all happy to only book with Nia moving forward. She’s the best!

We’ve been so lucky to work Melina a handful of times now - our pup, Freckles, and all our kitties love her so much! It’s so wonderful to be able to leave the critters at home, knowing that they’re being loved and cared for just like you would! Freckles was on antibiotics this time around and is permanently on daily medication, Melina took on the task of making sure he ate his pills (so much cream cheese) and wasn’t scared away! Which is always wonderful!! Thank you as always, Melina!!!
