About: It is so hard to leave your pet. You don't have to worry if they will be treated right in my care. Stay at home mom/pt nurse to care for your beloved pet. I'm Janelle, I have over 30 years experience with my own pets, cats and dogs of all sizes (St.Bernard to minidachshund) . We have a lots of room and big partially fenced yard to play in. I enjoy studying and research each breed in addition to developing basic dog training skills. I work from home about 15 hours a week. I take the pets out every 2-4 hours and make sure they get snacks/food. I always have toys available and love to send pictures and videos of your pets stay. I have one 11 lb dachshund to keep your pet entertained. I am happy to discuss walks and extra stimulation, treats, and offer daily report card. I also have access to Glastonbury dog park down the street. I always double check doors to be closed, and leads to fit securely but comfortably. The pets always stay with me and get to play or nap freely throughout the day. I do separate them if I need to leave for short period of time for safety reasons.

About: I’ve had a lot of friends who have left me to dog sit their dogs and over time I’ve built such strong bonds with them. I’ve tried to teach their dogs tricks which was enjoyable at times. I am self employed, so I have lots of time to give stomach rubs and playing tag around the house. I do frequent walks in the summer time/fall time. In the complex that I have moved into, they have reserved in area specifically for dog owners. We have access to a dog park so safety and security is provided.

About: I love to take care of pets! I am home working in our yard, garden, with our chickens, cooking, generally creating a millennial grandma cozy cottage. I always say there are a few things that make a house a home - animals, plants, and good kitchen smells. We have a dog and a couple cats running around, and, much like our kids enjoy having all the friends come to visit us so that our house is bustling with love! I have to say that I do not allow pets on furniture but worry not; all furry visitors have lots of soft spaces to snuggle, a large fenced-in yard to run about (maybe dig a hole to relax in the the sunshine?), love, attention, treats galore. I am not afraid of larger animals, and I can keep those separate that are either feeling feisty around new friends or shy until acclimation in our fenced patio within the yard. I keep a good eye on everyone, I'm patient with accidents, and its no sweat to accommodate special needs. Please let us enjoy hosting your family at ours, making our house a home. Other than taking my children to and from school, I am home. Additionally, my partner and children are six more eyes, hugging arms & throwing balls. I accommodate my clients' requests and always aim to over-deliver. I am happy to send photos and videos throughout our play date, and respond to questions in a very timely manner.

I provide frequent potty breaks, regular exercise, and plenty of outdoor playtime-whether it’s a game of fetch, frisbee , or just running around. My house is full of toy. My dogs are always ready to keep your pet company. I live in an apartment . I regularly take my dogs hiking and on trails around my neighborhood and surrounding areas. I do not take care of more than 3 dogs at a time. No females on heat please.

“Stephen was awesome, kept Gracei happy and safe during her visits while I had to work. I felt very comfortable leaving her there for my first Rover experience and first puppy ever. “Thank you Destiny for taking good care of Sadie. Destiny met with me at a local park for a meet & greet. She asked me questions about my pups schedule, feeding times and other activities she likes doing. The day I dropped Sadie off, went smoothly. You can tell Destiny and husband love animals. She sent me pictures throughout the day and that kept me at ease. If you need a sitter, I highly recommend this family. You’d be able to go on your vacation worry free knowing your baby is in good hands❤️”

“I highly recommend Chrystyanna! She was very sweet and my dogs had a lot of play time. They came home tired and happy after their day with her. I also received very funny pictures of them which I loved. I would definitely rebook!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for nearly 20 years, and I’ve loved them for even longer. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, and even chickens—so I’ve always known that pets come in all shapes, sizes, and personalities. I’m now a proud cat mom, and I still spend time with my beloved mini poodle, Riley, who lives with my parents (and is very much the spoiled youngest child). Whether it’s a quick drop-in or some one-on-one playtime, I treat every pet like family—with care, patience, and a whole lot of love. I’m reliable, respectful of your home, and happy to send updates along the way to give you peace of mind. If you’re looking for someone who truly gets animals and will care for your pet like her own—I’m your girl. Let’s connect! Right now, I have a very flexible schedule, which means I’m able to dedicate my full attention to the pets I care for. Whether it’s a drop-in or a stay at my home, your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches—they’ll have plenty of company, care, and supervision throughout the day. I love making pet care part of my daily routine, and I’m happy to structure my day around what works best for them. Whether I’m caring for pets in your home or mine, I treat them like family. In your home, I follow your pet’s routine closely—meals, potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles—all in the comfort of their own space. I’m tidy, respectful, and always keep you updated with photos and notes so you know your pet is in great hands. At my home, your pet will stay in a clean, cozy raised ranch with plenty of space to relax and a yard for fresh air and supervised outdoor time. I do have cats, but they tend to keep to themselves and usually hide when guests are around—so your pet will have their own space and won’t be bothered. I create a safe, low-stress environment where your pet can feel comfortable, relaxed, and right at home.

About: I have had pets my whole life ranging from dogs to reptiles to even birds! It is safe to say I am an animal lover. My family has always had dogs from young puppies all the way to seniors with special needs so my experience goes all the way back to childhood. In the past I have spent time volunteering training stray dogs and I also started a small pet sitting business in college. My mother-in-law lives in the apartment downstairs from us with her two older pups who we adore, especially my almost 2 year old son who can't get enough of them. I am a stay at home mom to my almost 2 year old son, so as I am not working I have a very flexible schedule and can make most arrangements for pet care work! Your pet will never be lonely in my home as we are mostly around during the day and always home at night. My home is in a wooded area on about an acre of land, plenty of space for your pet to sniff around and explore! My mother-in-law lives in our basement apartment with her two sweet dogs who I can easily keep separate from your pups, or if you think your pups would enjoy some company I can always introduce them. The house is large with lots of cozy nooks to relax in and plenty of space to play. Your pup would be well cared for and walked as much as you’d prefer. We'd love your pup as if they were our own, especially my son who is absolutely obsessed with dogs! We'd always make sure to honor and respect your wishes for how your pup is cared for and send you lots of pictures and videos so you never feel too far away!

About: I've surrounded by domestic animals since I was very little growing up in a farm. As an adult I always had a pet and took care of family and friend's pets. I run an online business and I am home most the time. I will have plenty of time to watch and take care of your pet. I lived with my husband in a very large house and a fenced backyard. Plus a have a friendly medium side dog who loves other pets. He would be a great companion for your furry baby.

“Great communication, very friendly and accommodating to my crazy schedule on my work trip. My dog seemed super happy. I definitely recommend.”

About: Hi, I’m Taylor! I'm an animal lover, Bengal cat mom, and experienced caretaker who understands that pets are family. I specialize in caring for cats of all personalities and needs, from shy seniors to high energy kittens. As the proud owner of a Bengal, I’m well versed in handling curious, clever, and sometimes chaotic felines. I’ve raised two dogs from three months old, so I’m familiar with the structure and routine dogs need & thrive on. My own pups go outside to play at least three times a day, so visiting dogs can expect a similar rhythm: regular outdoor time, a calm indoor space with lots of toys, and plenty of attention. As long as they’re good with cats, they’ll fit right in. I’m available for drop-in visits almost anytime: mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I’m reliable, communicative, and detail-oriented. Whether you need someone to stop in for feeding, meds, litter scooping, or just to give your pets some company and care, I’ve got it covered. I treat every animal like my own and always respect your home and their routine. I work full time, but mostly from home, and my schedule is very flexible. I can easily adjust my hours with a bit of notice, which allows me to prioritize pet care throughout the day for drop in visits, walks, or keeping a calm, consistent routine for pets staying in my home. I keep things calm, clean, and consistent, whether I’m in your home or caring for pets in mine. I do my best to maintain your pet’s usual routine so they feel secure while you're away. In your home, I treat the space with care and respect, and I always double check doors, feeding instructions, and any special requests. At my home, pets have access to a quiet, structured environment with safe spaces to relax, regular outdoor time, and lots of attention.

About: I have been taking care of dogs for 4 years and I'm excited to continue my pet sitting journey on rover. I look forward to meeting your dog and treating them like part of the family! I am home full time so I can always be with your pet. I can do morning drop off any time after 7 and pick up at whatever time you need. I have a large yard with a 100ft dog runner. However if you or your dog are uncomfortable with the runner let me know and I can leash for bathroom breaks instead.
