About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have cared for them since I was a child. Growing up with dogs taught me how important patience, attention, and love are when caring for pets. I have experience taking care of dogs for family members and friends, including feeding, walking, playing, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I treat every pet like part of the family and always focus on providing a calm, caring, and dependable environment. Im a homemaker so my schedule is very flexible. I’am available any day of the week including weekends. Which ever time and day is more convenient for you. I have a fenced backyard and a friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. I’ll make sure they have fun and enjoy their stay with us.
“She is such an amazing sitter! We had her watch our dog for the week and she updated us every day with pictures and messages about him. She is easy to reach out to and im so happy with how relaxed and happy our dog is with her.”

About: As a devoted dog owner for 12 years, I deeply understand the love, companionship, and joy our furry friends bring into our lives. After the passing of my beloved dog “Trouble” on August 6, 2023, I’ve found fulfillment in caring for other pets. I would be honored to walk, play with, and shower your pups with affection, ensuring they feel loved and cared for in your absence. I work from home full time and am a devoted mother to five children, all over the age of 8, who share my deep love for dogs. After losing our beloved family dog of 12 years in August 2023, we’ve felt a big void in our lives. We’re now in the process of adopting a new fur baby to bring that warmth back into our home. Caring for pets fits naturally into my daily routine, and I truly look forward to giving your precious pets the love, attention, and companionship they deserve. I have a spacious, fully fenced backyard perfect for dogs to play safely. I will be the only person caring for pets during all bookings — no one else will assist with pet care. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities.
“Paige was wonderful and made me feel at ease with hourly updates and photos while my dog Roxy was in her care. Roxy was all smiles and that totally warms my heart! I’m so happy to have found Paige. An even bigger perk is she is so close to me. I plan to rebook Paige’s services very very soon. Thank you, Paige!”

“I recently had the pleasure of utilizing the professional dog-sitting services provided by Iovanna B. From the moment I dropped off my dog, I was impressed by the level of care and attention they received. Iovanna's communication was prompt and informative, putting my mind at ease while I was away. Her professionalism and genuine love for animals were evident throughout the entire experience. I highly recommend Iovanna B's doggie sitting service to anyone seeking reliable and trustworthy care for their pet.”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care Niko received! From the moment we met, it was clear he was in great hands. We got regular updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Niko came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It’s obvious that they truly love animals and treat every pet like their own. We are so grateful for the attention, patience, and kindness they showed him. We will absolutely be booking with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring pet sitter!”

“Margarita is always so good with Comet. He used to be a little shy, but now he runs right into her home to play with Diego! I know Comet is in good hands when he boards with Margarita!”

“Nubia welcomed my dog into her home with ease and warmth. She kept me well-updated and was flexible with my erratic work schedule changes and I appreciate that SO much. Most importantly, my dog came home happy, exhausted from all the stimulation and attention and I was able to work all day with no worries. Thank you, Nubia!”

“Sherry and George take the best care of our sweet doggo. Whiskey LOVES going over to see them and play with Springer! Even though she's a pretty shy dog most of the time, Whiskey doesn't even want to leave when we go pick her up! 🥰 Sherry loves dogs and is so loving and attentive to them. We trust her completely with our sweet pup!”

About: I love pets. I have owned a dog my whole life. On top of owning a dog I also would dog sit for neighbors in my neighborhood. I start dog sitting around the age of 12. I have dog sat puppies who needed to go out a lot as well as play with them a lot to get energy out. I also have watched elderly dogs. I have no problem cleaning up dog messes that can happen in the house. I have dealt with a wide variety of dog fluid due to my own dog. I am one who will get there hands dirty. I also love playing with pets and getting on the floor to get their energy out. I have a dog of my own. I make sure to get her outside multiple times a day as well as getting a walk in once a day. During the week I take my dog to the dog park to get interactions with other dogs. I am a stay at home mom who has a very flexible schedule. I have experience with excited dogs who love seeing new people or just getting out to walk. I make sure when walking dogs to give them time to explore while still keeping them safe. When walking if other people or dogs walk past i make sure the dog I am walking is by my side opposite of those walking past for safety.

I treat every pet like part of the family, tuning into their needs and making sure they’re comfortable, engaged, and always cared for with kindness and patience.
About: Hi, I'm Leslie! This is my alternative option since my husband refused to allow me and adopt another fur baby 😅. I've had dogs my entire life. From the time I was a toddler, dogs have been a constant and beloved presence in my world. Growing up, my family always had at least one furry friend, and caring for them became second nature to me. I’ve owned dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and each one has taught me something new about love, patience, and responsibility. My daily routine includes long, enjoyable walks, playful training sessions, and careful grooming to keep my dogs healthy and happy. I understand the importance of personalized care and make sure to tailor my approach to meet each dog's unique needs and personality. My home is filled with love and laughter, with plenty of toys, cozy spots for naps, and, of course, lots of belly rubs. My lifelong experience with dogs has given me a deep understanding of their behavior and needs, ensuring they always feel safe, loved, and well-cared for. I genuinely love dogs and find immense joy in their companionship. If you’re looking for a reliable, passionate, and experienced dog sitter, I’d be thrilled to take care of your furry friend as if they were my own. MEET AND GREET REQUIRED Dogs MUST be vaccinated. I’m an elementary teacher who is off in the summer and looking to keep myself occupied during this long break at home. I’m home all day basically unless I run to the store. I live in a house with a big back yard where your fur babies can run around and enjoy nature! We will always have someone out there as well to make sure everything is okay.
“Amazing person and very friendly. She cares for your puppy like her own. Lets you know your baby is okay through pictures and messages throughout your babies stay. Overall just awesome.”

About: We bought a beautiful house in Forney in 2025. The house has a very shaded backyard, the tree covers over half of the space. The backyard is fenced with tight wooden slats. We both have a lot of experience with pets of all kinds, from dogs and cats to lizards, parakeets, turtles and hamsters! We have two young boys who adore small dogs and all cats! We are looking for kid friendly dogs and cats to pet sit. We don’t have any pets currently so we can give all our love and attention to yours! We only take one pet at a time so that we are able to give them the care that they deserve. I am a stay at home mom and my husband is a nurse who works 3 shifts a week. We have plenty of time to take care of your pets. We have two little boys who love animals but can be overwhelmed by bigger dogs so we only look after small dogs and cats. Because of the kids, we accept pets after 8 am and before 8 pm. We have a fully fenced and half shaded backyard. Our house is comfortable and welcoming to pets. As we have small kids, we are looking for kids friendly pets to look after. Our house is childproofed and can be kept pet proof as needed.
“Very friendly and kind , went the extra mile by sending frequent notifications. Great availability. Love the other pets allow socializing for my puppy.”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
