About: I have been caring for pets ever since I got my own to care for at a very young age. I have years of hands-on experience caring for cats of all ages, including newborn kittens, energetic kittens and cats, and senior cats who all require extra attention, patience and love. I also have well-rounded experience caring for dogs. I have experience with mature and senior dogs, including boarding them, caring for, and walking. I have cared for energetic dogs to calmer dogs and always tailor my care toward their needs. I have dog walking experience on both trail walks and city walks and design appropriate routes depending on the dog’s ability and character. I understand the importance of routine, attentiveness, and gentle handling while caregiving and always follow instructions diligently. Over time, friends and family have relied on me to check in on, feed, play, pet sit, and board their pets for days or weeks while they were away, trusting me to keep their pets safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for. I currently work from home 3 days a week, only 2 days in office so I will have plenty of time and flexibility to care for pets. I am available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays for check ins or walks. I am also available on weekends and most holidays for all services. I am very respectful of others homes. I will follow every detail and instruction I am given. I can stay in clients homes for boarding, walks, or check-ins. I can provide multiple updates or whatever the client desires. I am accepting of camera monitoring if desired to ensure trust and safety for clients. I have no children and only 1 cat in my house and live in very quiet neighborhood ensuring tranquility for pets to feel safe and comfortable in my home.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for many years, I am a huge animal lover. For neighbors, friends, family, all dogs and cats big and small I have so much love for them all. I work part time as a CNA, I only work a few days a week so I am available to watch your pups! I work every other weekend so i’d be available for boarding on my off weekends. I have a large yard and my dog gets taken out on a leash, I have a puppy so I am familiar with crate training and house training.
About: I love dogs to my very core! My best friend in the whole world is my little chihuahua/min-pin mix. I love running around in the yard and having a hiking buddy. I can't get enough of their cute little faces and enjoying playing with a fuzzy friend! I'm a Wildlife and Conservation Biology student at the University of Rhode Island, and during the summer, I intern at a turtle rescue and rehabilitation center in Rhode Island. I have a deep love for animals of all kinds, and I miss my furry friends when I'm away at school. Spending time with pets during the summer, between my internship commitments, and throughout the school year offers me a joyful break from my studies. I would come to a client's home to feed, walk, play, and anything else the fuzzy friend may need! I am more than happy to take an animal for a walk around the neighborhood or take them to a park. I am willing to drive the animal to appointments or other as well!
About: I’ve grown up with different animals and have a lot experience caring for my own, but I’m here to build references as I’m new to caring for other peoples animals. I’m a stay at home mom with a lot of free hours now that the kids are back in school so I’m almost always available. My number 1 concern is keeping your pets safe. I understand everyone has their own way of feeling comfortable and I’m very respectful of the fact that everyone has different ways of doing things. With that said, I’ll always honor that and do things your way for your pets.
“Connor took amazing care of our dog while we were away for the night! Kept us updated with plenty of pictures and reassurance that Oliver was having the best time! Would definitely book again and again! 10/10”

About: I’ve been in a pet loving family since I can remember. Taking in animals in need and caring for neighborhood pets is something I have been doing since a young age. I am a go to friend for someone needing a house sitter while they are away or just someone to stop in to feed. I have pets of my own including a cat needing medication and have experience caring for cats with special needs. I would love to make my new part time job caring for your pet. I currently work from home, Monday through Friday and have weekends off. I can drop in for a visit or walk your dog anytime with some notice. I am very detail oriented and take pride in doing my very best. I have no issues following specific direction especially for high maintenance or high need pets. From my past experiences with many different kinds or animals I can safely judge when redirection or intervention would be necessary.
“Lauren is the absolute best! She dog-sat our pup for over a week and we felt completely at ease. She sent updates more than once every day and showered our dog with all the love. We even told her about how our dog hasn’t had much exposure with other dogs, and she offered to bring her dogs over for walks get get him familiarized with fur-friends. 10/10 recommend Lauren - besides being the ultimate go-to for pet-sitting/walks/etc., she’s also just so sweet and accommodating.”

About: I have taken care of horses since I was 15. I’ve had my own dog since 17. I’ve always been an animal lover. Small, big, I love them all ! I use to work at a doggie daycare for almost 2 years. Now I have my own house and want to expand in the pet sitting field on my own. :) I currently work full time but I work from home ! My job did talk to me about starting to go in one day a week, so their might be one day I won’t be home for 8 hours. Other than that I will be home all day long and can give your fur babies all the attention! I have a big fenced yard and a friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed. Your pup will be able to go out as often as it wants. I have a really nice park near my house for walks.
Head of Westport pet parents share their Rover experiences
Liza did a wonderful job with my two labs while I was overseas. She also went above and beyond when my cell phone didn't work as it should have in a foreign country. She was the only person here in the states that I could get a message to and I asked her to call my family just to let them know I was okay. She did so without hesitation. Turns out, Liza was my only connection back home for the entire week! Not only did she take excellent care of my two kids but she helped me through a potentially very stressful situation. I can't thank her enough. I would not hesitate to have her come to my home again. Excellent pet-sitter, awesome person.
