“Melissa took great care of our dog while we were away for a wedding! Easy to communicate with, sent regular pictures and updates, and our pup came home nice and tired from all the fun!”

“We had the opportunity to go to Italy for 3 weeks leaving from Boston. We are not local here so looked at Rover to see if could find a sitter for our baby boy Bodee. Luckily I found Austin! He’s amazing, kind, trustworthy and great with Bo. He kept us updated daily with messages and photos. He took incredible care of Bodee even gave him a bath! Altho he was happy to see us I could tell he’d have no problem going to stay and play with Austin again! Thank you Austin for taking such great care of our boy. You are awesome and the pups in the MA area are lucky to have you as an option!”

“Tara was so great with our dog! Everyday we got updates and she was always available if we wanted to check in with her in-between. She was super flexible and understanding as our situation had a few changes. Thank you Tara for the amazing service and treating Maddie so well!”

“Fantastic dog sitter! She is compassionate and takes fantastic care of your pet. My dog was happy and comfortable the entire time she was away and the level of care is even better than a professional facility. She even sends daily pictures and videos and that is great when missing your pup. Next time I need to leave my dog I will definitely be sending her back over Nathalias!!”
“I can’t express how grateful I am that we Kathleen. It was the perfect environment for my dog. She and her very nice family took such good care of him that he felt at home. She also sent us many updates and photos so I knew he was happy and safe. I highly recommend her and would rebook! Thank you so much to Kathleen and family because of your great care I didn’t have to worry about him at all!”
“I am so grateful for Rebekah and her sweet daughters, who cared for my skittish and shy puppy, Nova. I received regular updates via text to set my mind at ease. They were kind and patient and loving. I highly recommend Rebekah!”

“Kimberly clearly cares for you dog as it they were her own. Great set up and so much playtime with other dogs. Judging from the many pictures sent every day, Willa had a blast there. I’d trust Kimberly with Willa anytime!”

“Taylor and Tyler took amazing care of our dog Darcy! She had a lot of fun, and was in high spirits at pickup time. It was also really nice to get updates and photos from Taylor & Tyler during her stay. We'll definitely be back next time we're visiting the area. Thanks!”

“Amanda and her family were amazing with our dog Mia. They took care of her like one of their own dogs. If you want to come back to a healthy and happy puppy Amanda is your dog sitter.”

“Chris and Whitney took wonderful care of our pup. Lots of updates and pictures. She is an anxious girl and was right at home with other dogs to play with. Look forward to booking with them in the future!”

“Erica was a godsend. We took in a foster in Feb and ended up adopting her. Unlike my other two dogs, the new pup hates being crated and has separation anxiety. We had a prescheduled trip planned for April and the new pup was too much for our house sitter to handle since he’d be coming and going. We were able to do a meet and greet with Erica where she assured me she’d have no problem watching the pup. Things worked out well and she will be my go to the next time we get away.”

“I can’t say enough great things about Armitage. They take such amazing care of Kharma every single time. Even when Kharma had to stay really late, they were incredibly accommodating and made sure he was comfortable and well taken care of the entire time. It truly gives me peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. At this point, Armitage is the first sitter I call every time without hesitation. I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with Kharma. The level of care, consistency, and genuine love they show means everything to me.”

“Carrie was communicative and flexible. She was understanding when our flight schedule kept changing impacting our timeline. Our dog, Luna, seemed to enjoy her time at Carrie’s along with a bunch of over pups.”

“Jennifer and Mark were extremely helpful and accommodating. They treated us with the utmost respect and kindness, always with my dog's care being the main focus. If you need to have someone watch your dog, you will be leaving them in very capable hands. It's evident that the care of their own dogs also extended to your dog. Highly, highly recommended!!”
“This was my first time using a pet sitter other than my family so I was very nervous. Geof was very patient and caring. I received daily updates and my girls had a wonderful time!! Nice pet friendly home with large fenced in backyard that Pickle and Millie enjoyed. I couldn’t have asked for better. I definitely would feel comfortable using Geof again next time.”

“Our mini goldendoodle, Evie, was well cared for by Paige and her family. Evie really enjoyed playing with the other dogs. Communication with Paige was great, too. I highly recommend her.”

“Kim took fantastic care of our 2 year old rescue cat Bob when we were away for 3 days. He is an extremely shy boy who only likes hanging out with his two closest people, but Kim won his trust from the very first time she met him. Kim stayed with Bob throughout the day at our house, providing him with quiet companionship, plenty of playtime and treats, carefully provided meals, and kept his surroundings spic and span. Kim is also an excellent house guest - very accommodating of our requests and rules, and left our home exactly as it was when we left for our break. Kim also communicated very well with us leading up to the stay, and during the stay she provided us with plenty of pictures, detailed updates, and check ins and at the beginning and end of the reservation. We highly recommend Kim to cat parents out there, and Bob can’t wait to hang out with her again! Thank you Kim!”

“An absolutely wonderful pet sitter who gave detailed notes for the daily check-ins, as well as several photos each day. Communication was great and Amanda took excellent care of my two boys ❤️”

“Emma was super friendly and communicative. We unfortunately had to cancel our rover visit last minute though she made the effort to come over ahead of time to meet our cat and take notes on what she needed. We definitely look forward to utilizing her services in the future!”
“Kristie was fantastic with our kitties! We had a last minute cancellation from another sitter and Kristie was able to step in. She was communicative and easy to work with. Will definitely be asking her to take care of them again!!!”

“Amethyst was so attentive to my needs and concerns while I was out of town. Like any cat mom I get nervous to leave my fur baby alone with just anyone but my little guy was in good hands!”

“Amy did a great job, Biggie Smalls was very comfortable with her. She was able to extend her care of Biggs for an additional day when I was wrong about our return flight details. I received several pictures every day and when I returned home, every bowl was full. He was well-tended. Would definitely use Amy again.”

“Angela & Adam had great professional holiday energy for my senior kitties. They sent thorough reports and great/festive pictures that made us laugh which helped my son cause he always misses our fur babies when we are out of town. It is so refreshing to meet folks who genuinely love animals and provide top notch care!”

“We had Lynne watch our two cats while we were on vacation. She was great! She was reliable and took great care of our babies. Our shy cat warmed up to her and she even got him to play! We will definitely be using Lynne again. I would recommend her for any pet care needs!”

“Kathy was so amazing to my kitty!! She is super attentive to the little things and really cared about my boy. I would 100% recommend her and hope to use her services again in the future.”

“I had such a great experience with Alyssa! She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared so much about my pets while I was away. I received updates and photos that gave me peace of mind, and my pets looked happy, comfortable, and well taken care of when I got home. It’s obvious she genuinely love animals and treats them like her own. I would absolutely trust Alyssa again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a caring and dependable pet sitter!”

“Austin was Amazing! He took Coco at the last minute and helped me through my first use of Rover. I appreciate him so much! He treated Coco so well and sent pictures during the day. Austin was very patient with puppy behaviors and was polite and respectful during our time with him. I felt safe leaving our puppy with Austin and would recommend him highly.”

“Carrie was wonderful. My goldendoodle puppy is a tired girl after her stay ( a tired puppy is a happy puppy) There was a nice large yard for her to run around. Carrie was excellent!”

About: I have been around dogs my entire life. That’s over 20 years of personal, hands-on experience! I’ve cared for puppies, small dogs, big dogs, calm dogs, hyper dogs - you name it. My responsibilities include daily walks, feeding, bathing, cleaning up after them, and most importantly, giving them all the love and attention. I am comfortable sticking to a routine and keeping all dogs happy and safe! I have a 7 year old dog who I treat like my own baby. Friends and family know me as the 30 year old who’s obsessed with her dog! Let my dog and your dog be the best of friends in our FENCED-IN yard! I am a dog-loving teacher! I work 1 minute down the road so I am able to check on dogs for 30 minutes during my lunch. My schedule is consistent. I wake up every morning with my husband to give our dog his morning routine. I am able to go on walks multiple times in the afternoon. I can also keep up with night time routines! We have a FENCED-IN yard where your dog and my dog can become the best of friends! I have two separate rooms if your dogs likes to have alone time after a day of play. I am also flexible to do in-home care, if that is your preference.
About: Our mission is to offer people a simple, affordable option for boarding their pets: to keep them fed, safe and company while you're away. There's nothing worse than doubling the price of your vacation just to get your pets looked after! We keep our boarding price more than reasonable to give folks the financial bandwidth to spend their vacation money on their vacation--not on boarding their pets. We are both contract workers with flexible schedules, and Taylor is often able to work from home so your pets will have plenty of companionship! So we told you our mission-- There's a few ways this translates. We have a huge yard. So, we don't take your pups on walks. BUT. We play fetch, tug of war, and intentionally initiate zoomies. If your pup is conditioned to expect walks, it's probably most fair to find a sitter who'll get that walk in! We love a good daytime cuddle, but we also like a good night's rest. So, your pets sleep in the living room, helping us avoid chaos while we're getting shut-eye. We kindly ask that if you book with us, that you're confident your doggies can sleep out on their own without too much fuss! We have an array of options for creating ideal environments for your pets, with baby gates, a large yard that can be segmented for dogs needing smaller spaces or space from others, and multiple kennels. Coming soon, an electric fence with an extra collar for your pup if you'd like it!
About: I’m not just a dog sitter—I’m a partner in your dog’s happiness. With the experience of training and graduating three service dogs, I bring patience, compassion, and structure to every pup I care for. Your dog isn’t just another appointment on my calendar—they’re family, and I treat them that way. From walks to training to daily love, I help dogs feel safe, confident, and understood. Caring for dogs isn’t my side gig—it’s my full-time commitment. As a business owner, I have the freedom and flexibility to dedicate my days to providing top-quality care for dogs. That means your dog isn’t squeezed into a busy schedule—they get my full attention, patience, and time. This isn’t just a job, it’s my life’s passion, and it shows in the way I care for every pup as if they were my own.” Full-Time Care, Full-Time Love—Because Dogs Deserve More Than a Side Gig.” Every dog in my care gets more than the basics—they get a home. At my single-family house, dogs enjoy a safe, spacious fenced-in yard where they can run, play, and explore freely. Inside, they’re treated like part of the family, with comfort, structure, and plenty of attention. From walks and playtime to training reinforcement and quiet downtime, I tailor the experience to each dog’s personality and needs. Whether your pup loves fetch, belly rubs, or simply lounging in the sun, I make sure they feel secure, happy, and cared for—just like they would at home.”

“Tara was great! She took Buddy on a walk right away to ease his separation anxiety! She said he adjusted well settling in for the night. She even sent us a picture! Pick up was a breeze. Tara and Buddy met us outside and we were on the road in no time heading home. I’d recommend her service anytime!”

About: Over 20 years of experience with pets- I trained my very first dog at only 10 years old! I grew up with a Great Pyrenees and am experienced with large / xl breeds. I absolutely love dogs and animals in general. I have two precious dogs of my own currently who I love more than anything. I’d be thrilled to care for your dog! I work remotely full time as a software engineer! Your pets are welcome to hang out with us for the day when you’re busy. Weekends I can provide even more active care since I have the days off. I have a fenced in yard but depending on your pets needs I can take them out on leash still. I let the dogs out to play frequently, every 2-4 hours.

Safety-First, Thoughtful Pet Care in a Calm and Controlled Environment For every pet care job—whether it’s dog walking, drop-in visits, or in-home hosting—I approach each responsibility with a safety-first mindset. I begin by assessing the environment, checking for any potential hazards, and observing the dog's temperament, energy level, and overall health to ensure they’re set up for a positive experience. I come fully prepared with all the essentials: leashes, treats, food (if needed), cozy beds and blankets, separate water bowls, poop bags, and anything else your pup might need to feel safe and comfortable. I believe dogs thrive in calm, predictable environments. As the walker or sitter, I take the lead in maintaining a peaceful, structured atmosphere where your dog can feel secure, enjoy their time, and have fun—all while staying under steady and attentive supervision.
About: I'm a lifelong pet caregiver with over 10 years of daily, hands-on experience caring for dogs. From childhood, my home included dogs and cats. Caring for them has been part of my everyday life. Not just feeding and exercise, but understanding personalities, the importance of routines and individual needs. I'm the pet parent of 3 French Bulldogs whom I've raised from puppyhood. They are now 10 months, 10 years and my eldest just passed the 🌈 bridge. Raising them has given me extensive experience across all life stages. From energetic puppies to senior dogs requiring daily medications, extra patience and care. Because of this, I have advanced experience in the unique needs and care of brachycephalic breeds, including breathing and temperature sensitivities, appropriate exercise levels and age-related health needs. I work from home, which allows me to provide constant supervision (if necessary), flexibility and plenty of attention throughout the day. I'm available for dog walking, drop in visits, day care, and boarding. I'm comfortable following detailed care instructions, medication schedules, and specific routines. My own dogs require precise care plans, so I fully understand how important it is that your pet's instructions are followed exactly. Keeping your pet’s routine as close to how it is when they’re home with you is a priority for me. Following familiar routines helps alleviate their stress, build trust and ease into comfort while they are in my care. My dogs are friendly and accustomed to being around other pets. All of my dogs are intact, so I ask that owner's disclose whether their dogs are intact or in heat prior to booking. This allows me to thoughtfully plan and recommend the most appropriate service - such as visits to your home instead of boarding in mine - so everyone remains safe, comfortable and stress free. Pets in my home are welcome on furniture. I use careful management and positive handling techniques to ensure harmony when pets share space. I'm always mindful of body language and prioritize their safety and comfort. When your pet is in my care, you can expect regular photo updates and communication from arrival to departure so you always feel informed and reassured. I take pride in being attentive, reliable and genuinely invested in your pet's well-being! I work from home full-time, so my schedule is very flexible. I can take 2-3 breaks during the work day to walk your pet if they are staying with me, or stop by your home for potty and walk breaks. If they are staying with me for day care or boarding, I can meet your pet where they are in terms of potty, walk, and play breaks, as well as forced nap times, if necessary. I have several ways to manage the space in my home between pets, to ensure everyone is safe, comfortable and happy. I have 3 crates, baby gates, several pet beds and endless toys. Our yard has a fenced in area to ensure safe potty breaks.

“Dependable, kind and most importantly Blue loves her. Our situation at the time meant we didn’t meet her first. Trusted the app and now trust Ixia with our most cherished family member. Thank you”

“We signed up for the app and sent a message to Angela and Adam and got a response within minutes. They immediately booked a meet and greet. Our boy,Teddy, still has a bunch of puppy energy and can be intimidating to some because of his size. He is 80lbs of muscle and marshmallow. He is a rescue and not much is known about his past so there were some things we were concerned about in finding someone to walk him, but they both were very confident that they could handle him. Their demeanor made our family feel so comfortable. It's been a week and he has taken to Angela and Adam very well. They communicate when they are on their way and when they've left. They send pics that show he is having a blast. We are very happy knowing that Teddy is getting some exercise and TLC during the day and is in great hands!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all ages and personalities my entire life, and working with animals truly feels second nature to me. For the past five years, I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for pets professionally, and I currently work part-time at a doggy daycare where I’m trusted with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I’m comfortable administering oral medications and insulin, and I’m CPR certified for dogs so your pet safety is always a top priority. I stay calm, attentive, and prepared in any situation. Whether it’s a playful puppy, a shy rescue, or a senior pet who needs extra patience and gentle care, I always treat every animal like they’re my own. I only work part-time so I have plenty of time and flexibility to give pets the attention they deserve. I’m able to structure my schedule around walks playtime, feedings, and any special care that they may need. Because I’m not gone long hours pets aren’t left them alone for extended periods, and I can provide consistent companionship and supervision. When caring for your baby in your home I do my best to keep the routine as normal inconsistent as possible, and follow all feeding schedules, walk, routines, medication, instructions, and household guidelines, exactly as provided. I make sure that your pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while also respecting their comfort levels.
“Trusting someone with your beloved pets can be scary but I know my dog is in the best hands with Cassidy. She is patient with my hyper (and sometimes very stubborn) dog, reliable, and very responsive. It was an easy choice choosing her to care for my precious pup.”

About: I’ve been in a pet loving family since I can remember. Taking in animals in need and caring for neighborhood pets is something I have been doing since a young age. I am a go to friend for someone needing a house sitter while they are away or just someone to stop in to feed. I have pets of my own including a cat needing medication and have experience caring for cats with special needs. I would love to make my new part time job caring for your pet. I currently work from home, Monday through Friday and have weekends off. I can drop in for a visit or walk your dog anytime with some notice. I am very detail oriented and take pride in doing my very best. I have no issues following specific direction especially for high maintenance or high need pets. From my past experiences with many different kinds or animals I can safely judge when redirection or intervention would be necessary.

About: I am a vet tech and animal handler. I have been working and taking care of pets professionally for the last ten years both in doggy day care/ boarding and training but also emergency and critical care. I’m addition to my education and work history I also foster neonates, train, and help local rescues. I have been a life line for those who have older pets or those fresh from hospital stays for pet parents who appreciate the peace of mind someone is checking in. I have been the energy outlet for younger pets who are still learning, and will keep up and work with any training you’ve been learning. My availability is during normal working business hours, and I don’t mind late, or last minute bookings. I do require a meet and greet for new clients; as I believe it is important to know that it is a right fit for both myself but more importantly you and your pet. With my current work schedule and location I am happy to meet your pet for walks and drop ins! At this time I am not available for overnight boarding. I know what it takes to make a dog happy and enriched. I will enforce any training regime you’re currently working on, administer meds if needed. I treat every animal as though it is my own and am more then happy to provide pictures during visits and walks to keep owners updated about how their pet doing.

Thanks!”

“Kevin watched my 10 month old german shepherd Dax while i was on vacation! He sent pictures and videos everyday to keep me updated. Dax can get super energetic and crazy at times and Kevin was very patient with him! thank you so much, i really appreciate it 💜”

“Natalia gave great care to our dog for the long stay he had with her and their lovely Corgie Archie at their home. We got pictures nearly every day and she was responsive as needed. If you are looking to have your dog have good companionship they are a good choice.”

“Thank you for being such a great host family for Jack.... Jack is a loving 5½ year old golden retriever that loves people. He doesn't visit other houses very often, & is rarely away from me. Although Jack was a bit nervous, going to a strange house with people he didn't know, this family made him feel at home. Phil went so far as to sleep on the couch in the same room as Jack. I will definitely use this family in the future & highly recommend them if your looking for a loving family for your pup.... Thank you again”

“I can tell by how eager Splash is when she gets out of the car that she loves vacationing with Sergio. My girl is an abandoned rescue with lots of anxiety but loves hanging out with Sergio. Thank you so much!”

“We had a great experience with Ciara. Hogan had never stayed with anyone but family and I was a little nervous since I was going away for 2 weeks. Ciara provided wonderful care and fun for Hogan and kept us informed of how he was doing and with texts, photos and videos. I highly recommend.”

“Charlie wasn’t feeling well during his 3 night stay with Brian:( Brian showed his concern for Charlie and kept me updated. Charlie is fine now! I will use Brian in the future.”
