This was only Sadie‘s second time boarding in someone else’s home without me…I learned from my first experience that Sadie does not do great with other pets in the house… and, even though Kari’s was pet free, I was still trepidatious about trying another boarding situation in a strange (to my pup) home. My fears were immediately alleviated upon meeting and seeing Kari interact with Sadie and how she let Sadie explore around her wonderful home. Physical relief was all I felt when I left Sadie with her. Kari kept me informed each day with reports and pictures of what she and Sadie were doing, and I was never worried that Sadie was anxious or anything but completely comfortable. Seriously will make sure that Kari is available anytime I plan anything where I need to leave Sadie with someone for any reason! About: I’ve been in a pet loving family since I can remember. Taking in animals in need and caring for neighborhood pets is something I have been doing since a young age. I am a go to friend for someone needing a house sitter while they are away or just someone to stop in to feed. About: I've been looking after dogs and cats since I was 12! They've ranged from my grandma's shitzu to dog sitting mastiffs! I've even watched reptiles like ball pythons and geckos. It was 5 adults dogs, one puppy the equivalent to a toddler, and 22 puppies! I am willing to go to the cape and islands for house sitting! I, sadly, do not have a cute puppy or kitty to play with your fur baby, however it just means they get more love from me! About: I've had all types of animals growing up. From small critters to dogs. Currently own 2 cats named Sasha and Coco, chickens and have 3 freshwater fish tanks. I've house/pet sit for friends over the years. I have pretty good flexibility everyday for short visits > 2 hours. I have two young children in school so depending on time frame one might have to accompany me but if not needed I can work around it. My cats are pretty self sufficient as cats are but they are fed every morning and evening and get treats. They are indoor cats aged 7 and 8. I feed fish daily and do water changes once a week as Maintenance. Chickens are a bit more daily maintenance with cleaning out coop everyday and filling water and feeder but it's rewarding (especially with getting eggs)
About: I have l had the responsibility of taking care of my home pets ever since I could remember. We’ve always had a full house with dogs, cats, turtles, lizards, guinea pigs, chickens, and even a macaw. I have experience with senior dogs that require extra care as I have one of my own. I have also taken a few puppy training classes that I have used on my dogs as well as pups of close friends. Most of my pets have been rescues and I was able to use those skills to break bad, destructive habits that could’ve resulted in injury. I am currently a full time college student and a part time medical assistant at an urgent care clinic. Typically, I would have the most time to commit to intensive pet care in the early mornings, early afternoons, late evenings, and weekends. My dogs are crate trained and my pets typically spend their nights in their designated areas. In the mornings everyone is opened, greeted with many pets and kisses, and fed. The dogs are walked and trained for a bit before my departure. I make sure to leave a few brain engaging toys/ treats while gone for the day. Once I return, the process is repeated with a longer evening walk and extra cuddle time. My senior dog required a bit more attention with daily injections and a specific diet. I am sure I would take care of your pet with the same care and love I give my pets.

Growing up we always had at least 1 pet but would usually find ourselves with multiple at a time I work Monday to Thursday during the days so I am available for drop ins later on those days. About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all ages and personalities my entire life, and working with animals truly feels second nature to me. “Total rock star sitter - could not recommend Kari any more highly! This was only Sadie‘s second time boarding in someone else’s home without me…I learned from my first experience that Sadie does not do great with other pets in the house… and, even though Kari’s was pet free, I was still trepidatious about trying another boarding situation in a strange (to my pup) home. My fears were immediately alleviated upon meeting and seeing Kari interact with Sadie and how she let Sadie explore around her wonderful home. Physical relief was all I felt when I left Sadie with her. Kari kept me informed each day with reports and pictures of what she and Sadie were doing, and I was never worried that Sadie was anxious or anything but completely comfortable. Seriously will make sure that Kari is available anytime I plan anything where I need to leave Sadie with someone for any reason!
