About: I have experience with puppies and kittens. I am able to administer medicine or other special accommodations outside of regular care. I have always had pets so I have lots of experience with both cats and dogs! I’m currently working remote part time so my schedule is very flexible and accommodating to be able to care for your pets ! ! ! I love to play with your pets and give them the attention they need while you are away! Lots of cuddles and routine care .
About: My dogs have always been my best friends. I have had experience with small, medium, and large dogs. I am careful to listen to and respect the routine and rules that you have for your fur baby, no matter how big or small. I’m a big fan of taking them for walks on the beach and shady hikes! I also love a good excuse to drive around looking for a good place for my pup to stretch her legs, or be a good cuddle buddy. I am currently a small business owner in private practice as a healthcare provider. Dog sitting was something I loved doing for many years, but paused to do to care for my senior dog for the last 3 years. After recently losing her, and not being ready for a new love of my own, I’d be honored for the opportunity to care for your pet. I live in Kaaawa but am able to travel anywhere on island to care for your pet(s). Thank you for reading my profile, & I hope to hear from you soon! I work from home doing telehealth, largely from 11-4 M/W/F so I have lots of time and breaks to spend with your pet. I spend most days at home, able to provide exercise and maintain routine feeding throughout the day. I am used to administering meds on a schedule and provide frequent updates to owners (if they’d like!). I am careful to follow the house rules and your pet’s routine. I know it takes a lot of trust for someone to care for your fur baby, and I am a trusted member of the community. I am transparent about my stay in your home and understand it is a privilege to be there and be trusted to care for your animal. I provide lots of play time and cuddles! I always leave homes cleaner than they are left. My reviews are older because of the break I took from Rover to care for my senior pup, but I still value the same service.
About: *Location: Hau'ula, HI* Registered Nurse for 10 years. Competitive athlete for 20 years. Throughout my childhood I grew up with Dobermans, Bichon Frise and Standard Poodles. I have unconditional love for all dogs and all their personality. Some breeds I've watched over the last 6 months include Rhodesian Ridgeback, Pitbull mix, French Bull dogs and Standard Poodle. I've trained dogs to swim and even surf. I am comfortable with post operative care and administration of medication. Pet sitting experience also includes rabbits, cats, exotic birds and small reptiles. Happy to spend time with your pet at any time of the day. Starting next month my goal is to transition to provide full time pet exercise service to the community. I enjoy going to the beach and being outdoors which is something I have found most dogs to enjoy as well. I can do as little or as much exercising as you request and the pup can handle. If they just want to cuddle and cruise I'm well versed in that program as well.
About: I have had dogs my entire life, but what truly sets me apart is my professional, hands-on experience working with them every day. I spent over three years at a dog daycare, where I grew from a daycare attendant to a dog trainer, and eventually became the daycare manager. This experience gave me the opportunity to work with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and personalities in a structured and supervised environment. In addition to my daycare and training background, I have been a responsible dog breeder since 2022, raising four successful litters of Golden Retrievers and Labrador Retrievers. This has given me an even deeper understanding of canine behavior, development, and attentive, hands-on care from early life stages through adulthood. I have a strong understanding of dog body language and behavior, which allows me to safely handle everything from high-energy dogs to more nervous or reactive ones. My goal is always to create a calm, safe, and positive experience for every dog in my care. Dogs are not just a job to me, they are a huge part of who I am. I currently have a Golden Retriever and a Labrador Retriever, and they continue to deepen my love and understanding of what dogs need to feel secure, happy, and well cared for. When caring for your pet, I treat them as if they were my own. You can expect consistent communication, reliability, and attentive care throughout your time away. If you have any questions about my experience or would like to see if I’m a good fit for your pet, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I would love to connect with you. Pet care is a consistent and important part of my daily routine. I structure my schedule around providing dependable, attentive care, including regular feeding times, exercise, and enrichment tailored to each dog’s needs. While I do have dogs of my own, they are on a stable routine and well cared for, which allows me to plan my time responsibly and show up fully for the pets in my care. Because of this, I am mindful about how long I am away from home at a time, but I ensure that every visit and stay is intentional, reliable, and focused on your pet’s comfort and well-being. Whether your dog needs structured walks, playtime, or a calm and consistent presence, I am able to incorporate their routine seamlessly into my day. At this time, I provide care exclusively in my client’s home so that your pet can remain comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. I take pride in following each dog’s specific needs, whether that includes feeding schedules, walks, playtime, training reinforcement, or simply providing a calm and attentive presence. I am very mindful of safety, structure, and reading dog body language to ensure your pet feels secure and well cared for at all times. If your dog enjoys walks, I am happy to take them around your neighborhood or to appropriate outdoor areas, depending on your preferences. I tailor each visit to match your dog’s energy level and routine. I offer a range of services including drop-in visits, walks, and house sitting depending on availability. My goal is to provide reliable, thoughtful care while keeping your pet happy, safe, and comfortable in your absence. If you have any questions, special requests, or concerns, I am always happy to communicate and make sure I am the right fit for you and your pet.
About: I have taken care of pets for over 10 years now, both my own and for family or friends! I love hanging out with them, going on walks or runs, to the beach, playing fetch, cuddling in the yard, and giving them the love they deserve. I will treat your pet like it is my own! You will always come home to them happy and loved! I’m currently free all week mornings and afternoons. We can enjoy walks around the neighborhood, runs or swims at the beach, or fetch at home or the park. I always make sure to scan the surrounding environment to ensure the utmost safety and care. I make sure to avoid any uncomfortable situations for you or your pup or any mishaps with other dogs. I am trained to de-escalate high stress situations in a calm manner.
“Sean was great. My dog has a complicated feeding regime and she picked it up right away. Not only that, but she timed her walks so Mooji could get his favorite beach walk. Mooji is a food aggressive terrier who takes a while to warm up to people. Other people who have cared for him didn’t pay attention to my explanations on how to handle Mooji. Because of that he snapped at people. Sean is the second person outside of the family who Mooji loved and let groom him. BRAVO SEAN!!! Thank you.”

About: I grew up in a household that loves animals. I’ve always had dogs around whether it was my own or I was taking care of others dogs. I also worked as a bather for over a year so I have experience with all kinds of dogs, big and small, old and young. I am working a part-time job right now and would love to be able to spend time taking care of dogs on my days off. Since I moved away from home I’ve missed having dogs around I have experience in walking both big dogs and small dogs so I know how to handle either and I know how to walk multiple dogs at once if needed
“Kairee was great with our dogs! She was able to walk them together, something we don’t even do. She also played with our dogs when the walk was shorter than time booked. This was the first time we used Rover and we were really happy with Kairee. We had peace of mind knowing our dogs would have exercise and company while we were on our trip.”

“Our 2 dogs had so much fun with Casey and her adorable dogs. They were worn out every evening (not a small feat). One of the days she wasn’t able to take them out due to weather, but she took them for double time the next day and issued me a refund for the missed day. I would definitely book with Casey again! Thank you!!”

About: I have been taking care of pets since I was very young, with the exception of snakes and spiders. I took care of dogs through Rover when my spouse was unavailable. My spouse was a professional explosive detection dog handler. I work from home and my spouse is a stay-at-home dad, so someone is home to take care of your fur babies, make sure they get played with and taken out for potty breaks. I have a very large yard that is completely fenced so your pet can enjoy off-leash time all day. Your pet will be able to come and go inside and outside as they please. Currently I have two dogs and a cat. I’ve raised dogs from puppies to old gray dogs, and I’ve had my share of sick care for animals as well. 100% true animal lover. Im a stay at home mom, so I have an open availability for the most part! I would love to watch, tend to, and enjoy time with your animal(s). I have a fenced in yard and thres fur babies (2 dogs and 1 cat) to keep yours company, all of my animals are inside animals who do have the luxury of the furniture as well. We love going for walks, and getting plenty of belly rubs!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs, rabbits, cats, lizards and snakes through the years. I’m told I have “a way,” but I like to think I just try to speak in an even but engaged tone, play when it’s time to play, and if rambunctious, use calming techniques to correct. I am retired so I have a flexible routine. I like to stay engaged with my community and help others keep their companions healthy and happy. I have adopted 3 rambunctious strays that are still settling in, so care in my home could only be on a special arrangement basis. In a client’s home, I would respect all directions given and ensure emergency numbers are provided.
“MaryAnn was once more exceptional. Having her drop by when we're away for long days has really had a positive impact on Winston, and we are grateful for her and her services. Thank you, MaryAnn!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
