“Second time we have used Shawna! Always quick to respond and Moretisha has a great time. Moretisha is very needy and it is always great knowing that she will be well taken care of while we are traveling. Great Family to take care of your pets!”

“Luvith is the most loving sitter you will find! I can’t say enough about the quality of care and peace of mind she provides. She and her family are truly the best and we thank them so much!!!”

“Robin took care of our boys while we were out of town. She updated me with pictures and videos throughout the day, and the boys seemed to be having a blast. I highly recommend her! She was able to give one of them his medication as well and kept me informed when she did. The next time we leave town without the boys, they will be staying at Robins!”

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud owner of a 2½-year-old Cavapoo. Throughout college, I fostered small-breed dogs from very young ages and have regularly pet sat for friends and family. I’m experienced with dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors, and will treat your pet with the same love, attention, and care I give my own. I come home for lunch for an hour and have weekends open as well. I have a doggie door with a fenced in backyard for playtime and can always close it while I’m gone. My office is nearby so I am happy to go check on them periodically! When pets stay in my home, they become part of the family. I provide a safe, clean, and loving environment where they receive plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, and cuddles. I do my best to maintain their normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, and any special care instructions, so they feel comfortable and at ease while you’re away. With approval, a night time pup cup is a standard in our home!
“Highly recommend!! Brandy and her family were great with our dog. Excellent communication, quick response, and it’s very clear they love animals. She responded on really short notice and was fantastic to work with. Will book again!”

About: I started caring for animals at a young age when I launched a small neighborhood dog-walking business. From early on, I knew I wanted to spend my time around animals, and that passion has only grown stronger. Today, I’m the dog parent of two pups, Arlo (7) and Kirby (3), who truly are my pride and joy. Being a pet owner myself has helped me understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your fur baby. I’m patient, attentive, and compassionate with both people and animals, and I’ll treat your fur baby with the same care and love I give my own. I’m always happy to answer any questions you may have before booking! My availability is open during the week and typically weekends, providing the opportunity to meet your pets daily or weekly needs. I can be available during the morning and / or afternoon! I will carefully follow any instructions you provide. Keeping your pet safe and your home secure is very important to me and my standards. I always enjoy when my pet sitters provide updates during a day care or boarding session, so I plan to do the same!
About: I have taken care of dogs my entire life. I also have one of my own. She is a total sweetheart and would love a friend to play with. I would love to care for your puppy! I go on a long walk with my puppy daily (morning and night), and go to the dog park every other day! Your puppy will have lots of playtime with mine! I will help care for your puppy and home like it is my own. I know the stress of leaving a pet home during a trip. I want to alleviate that stress for you!

“Alicia took such great care of our 2 dogs. She would send me pictures daily, sometimes multiple times a day, with a quick update on how everything was going. I didn’t worry about our dogs all weekend, what a relief!”

“Sarah took great care of our pup. He settled in quickly and we received happy pics while we were gone. She was flexible when we had a last minute change in our travel plans. We’d use her again!”

“Heather was a very gracious host to our two dogs. This was our first Rover.com experience. Traveling in our camper but wanted to get to New Orleans. Our dogs were safe and well cared for while we enjoyed NOLA. Heather is very convenient to Paul B Johnson state park and would recommend her services for others. We got back early enough that she allowed us to pick our dogs up before boarding the second night. We appreciated the flexibility.”

About: I’ve had dogs since before I could walk, and I’ve been around them my entire life. I have experience with all sized and tempered dogs, cats of different ages and even birds and farm animals. If there was a sitter to gush over your pet, it’s me! I work from home so I’m available any time. I will keep my schedule regularly updated. Let’s chat about what I can do for you and your fur baby! In my household I have one small dog named Rosie. She is free fed, we take a daily walk and she goes outside to potty or relax about 5/6 times a day. I really aim to focus on what each particular pet needs and enjoys to make sure they’re in the best care.
About: Hi!!! My name is Lauryn! I have always had a strong love and passion for animals— rather they’re inside pets, or a tiny creature outdoors! I became a dog mommy at 5 years old, and haven’t looked back since! 💓 I currently have three fur babies of my own. I would love to assist you for the care of your pets when needed! My hours are very flexible! 😊 I’m happy to help whenever I’m needed and will always do my best to fit you in as long as I have availability that day. 🐾 I’m patient and flexible with both young and senior dogs, with hands-on experience from my own. 🐾 I don’t mind cleaning up accidents, always keep pups safely leashed on walks, and make sure they have fresh water and plenty of belly rubs & cuddles! I’m happy to work around your needs — feel free to ask any questions. I’d love to help care for your fur baby/babies! 💕
About: My name is Lilly and I am a huge lover of animals. I started a pet sitting/walking business when I was 9. I work for a technology company out of the Ridgeland/Hattiesburg area. I rescued Milo from Southern Pines in 2022. I was a foster failure from Hub City in 2024. They are my BABIES. My absolute pride and joy. I took a break dog sitting for a while, but I am back to meet some new babies! I have the ability to work from home. Both of my dogs have some energy. They love the play in the water hose or play fetch. I live in a friendly neighborhood with a fenced in backyard. I also offer boarding inside my home. Otherwise I am more than happy to make drop in visits throughout the day and night at your home. My dogs love to make new friends. They never had a problem sharing toys or show signs of food aggression
“Jenny was great with our young puppy. She had him for a week and did more with him than we had! We got photos, updates and good feedback the whole time she was caring for him. Major was super legit sad when we went to pick him up. I had zero concerns and was able to go on vacation without worry. Looking forward to knowing we have a great sitter when we are out of town. Thank you so much Jenny!!”

“Emily and Derek took great care of my baby. She had never stayed away from home and was timid and frightened and they were very understanding and accommodating for her. Thanks you two”

“Exceptional!! Wrenne was amazing, I can’t even began to describe how pleased I am.. So professional, my baby is spoiled rotten so I was nervous about him being so needy but she reassured me he would be well taken care of, and he was. She updated me throughout his entire stay! She’s such a beautiful soul”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Hattiesburg
Haley is wonderful and our 2 small dogs had the best time with her! They seemed happy and playful when we picked them up. Haley sent photos and even a video during their time with her, which really helped make it easier to get through being away from them. I highly recommend her, and next time we are in the area we will definitely check her availability if I’m needing a great dog sitter. Thank you Haley!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MS ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
