“Shawna was amazing and was such a great caregiver for my little pup. Her kids were very loving towards the little one and even hugged her goodbye. Very warm and loving environment. I will definitely use her services in the future.”

“She is amazing! She sent pictures throughout the time of having our doggie. She always let us know how he was doing and she even watched him an extra day on last minute notice. You won’t disappointed. She will love your doggie like her own. ❤️”

“Highly recommend!! Brandy and her family were great with our dog. Excellent communication, quick response, and it’s very clear they love animals. She responded on really short notice and was fantastic to work with. Will book again!”

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud owner of a 2½-year-old Cavapoo. Throughout college, I fostered small-breed dogs from very young ages and have regularly pet sat for friends and family. I’m experienced with dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors, and will treat your pet with the same love, attention, and care I give my own. I come home for lunch for an hour and have weekends open as well. I have a doggie door with a fenced in backyard for playtime and can always close it while I’m gone. My office is nearby so I am happy to go check on them periodically! When pets stay in my home, they become part of the family. I provide a safe, clean, and loving environment where they receive plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, and cuddles. I do my best to maintain their normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, and any special care instructions, so they feel comfortable and at ease while you’re away. With approval, a night time pup cup is a standard in our home!
“Milo absolutely loved staying with Luvith!! We met her before the scheduled stay, and she was very kind and professional. The fenced backyard is also perfect for dogs. Not having to worry about my boy while I was out of town was priceless. Thank you, Luvith!”

“Sarah took great care of our pup. He settled in quickly and we received happy pics while we were gone. She was flexible when we had a last minute change in our travel plans. We’d use her again!”

“Heather was a very gracious host to our two dogs. This was our first Rover.com experience. Traveling in our camper but wanted to get to New Orleans. Our dogs were safe and well cared for while we enjoyed NOLA. Heather is very convenient to Paul B Johnson state park and would recommend her services for others. We got back early enough that she allowed us to pick our dogs up before boarding the second night. We appreciated the flexibility.”

“Alicia took such great care of our 2 dogs. She would send me pictures daily, sometimes multiple times a day, with a quick update on how everything was going. I didn’t worry about our dogs all weekend, what a relief!”

About: I’ve had dogs since before I could walk, and I’ve been around them my entire life. I have experience with all sized and tempered dogs, cats of different ages and even birds and farm animals. If there was a sitter to gush over your pet, it’s me! I work from home so I’m available any time. I will keep my schedule regularly updated. Let’s chat about what I can do for you and your fur baby! In my household I have one small dog named Rosie. She is free fed, we take a daily walk and she goes outside to potty or relax about 5/6 times a day. I really aim to focus on what each particular pet needs and enjoys to make sure they’re in the best care.
About: Hi!!! My name is Lauryn! I have always had a strong love and passion for animals— rather they’re inside pets, or a tiny creature outdoors! I became a dog mommy at 5 years old, and haven’t looked back since! 💓 I currently have three fur babies of my own. I would love to assist you for the care of your pets when needed! My hours are very flexible! 😊 I’m happy to help whenever I’m needed and will always do my best to fit you in as long as I have availability that day. 🐾 I’m patient and flexible with both young and senior dogs, with hands-on experience from my own. 🐾 I don’t mind cleaning up accidents, always keep pups safely leashed on walks, and make sure they have fresh water and plenty of belly rubs & cuddles! I’m happy to work around your needs — feel free to ask any questions. I’d love to help care for your fur baby/babies! 💕
“It was an outstanding experience from beginning to end. She took such good care of my dog. Did he almost didn’t want to come home. She’s very kind and considerate. I can’t imagine leaving him with somebody else.”

“Autumn, thank you for taking care of my big baby. Thank you for sending pictures and videos of Diesel, while I was out of town. Those pictures and videos melted my heart. I appreciate your kindness and your professionalism. We will surely be back! Alicia”

“Haley is wonderful and our 2 small dogs had the best time with her! They seemed happy and playful when we picked them up. Haley sent photos and even a video during their time with her, which really helped make it easier to get through being away from them. I highly recommend her, and next time we are in the area we will definitely check her availability if I’m needing a great dog sitter. Thank you Haley!”

About: I‘ve had pets as long as I can remember. I have a cat and a dog who love to play! My family bred cats growing up, so I have dealt with MANY different situations and know the proper responses in emergency situations. I have experience training, walking, socializing, and showing dogs and cats. I love pets and would be thrilled to take care of your furry friend. Spending time with pets brings me joy. I know each pet has a unique personality, and love learning and adapting to each one’s! I look forward to meeting your precious pet and taking care of it as if it were my own. Thanks for checking out my profile! I’m a stay-at-home mom to a toddler, so my schedule is fairly flexible! Whether it’s an early morning walk or a late night check-in, I’m here to help care for your pets. I have a cat and a dog at home, both of whom are high energy. I love to play tug and fetch and use wand toys to entertain, but am just as comfortable giving snuggles or taking your furry friends on a walk.
About: My name is Lilly and I am a huge lover of animals. I started a pet sitting/walking business when I was 9. I work for a technology company out of the Ridgeland/Hattiesburg area. I rescued Milo from Southern Pines in 2022. I was a foster failure from Hub City in 2024. They are my BABIES. My absolute pride and joy. I took a break dog sitting for a while, but I am back to meet some new babies! I have the ability to work from home. Both of my dogs have some energy. They love the play in the water hose or play fetch. I live in a friendly neighborhood with a fenced in backyard. I also offer boarding inside my home. Otherwise I am more than happy to make drop in visits throughout the day and night at your home. My dogs love to make new friends. They never had a problem sharing toys or show signs of food aggression

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Petal home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MS ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
