About: My name is Lilly and I am a huge lover of animals. I started a pet sitting/walking business when I was 9. I work for a technology company out of the Ridgeland/Hattiesburg area. I rescued Milo from Southern Pines in 2022. I was a foster failure from Hub City in 2024. They are my BABIES. My absolute pride and joy. I took a break dog sitting for a while, but I am back to meet some new babies! I have the ability to work from home. Both of my dogs have some energy. They love the play in the water hose or play fetch. I live in a friendly neighborhood with a fenced in backyard. I also offer boarding inside my home. Otherwise I am more than happy to make drop in visits throughout the day and night at your home. My dogs love to make new friends. They never had a problem sharing toys or show signs of food aggression
“Miranda was great! She provided us with photos on a regular basis, she let us know if there were any issues and was very accommodating. Our dog just turned one and we have only had him for a couple of months and so we haven't had him completely trained but Miranda dealt with him super well and was flexible when interacting with him. Bravo got a ton of exercise and loved time with the kids and other dogs. Overall we were very satisfied with Miranda's services.”
About: Hi!!! My name is Lauryn! I have always had a strong love and passion for animals— rather they’re inside pets, or a tiny creature outdoors! I became a dog mommy at 5 years old, and haven’t looked back since! 💓 I currently have three fur babies of my own. I would love to assist you for the care of your pets when needed! My hours are very flexible! 😊 I’m happy to help whenever I’m needed and will always do my best to fit you in as long as I have availability that day. 🐾 I’m patient and flexible with both young and senior dogs, with hands-on experience from my own. 🐾 I don’t mind cleaning up accidents, always keep pups safely leashed on walks, and make sure they have fresh water and plenty of belly rubs & cuddles! I’m happy to work around your needs — feel free to ask any questions. I’d love to help care for your fur baby/babies! 💕
“Emily and Derek took great care of my baby. She had never stayed away from home and was timid and frightened and they were very understanding and accommodating for her. Thanks you two”

About: I‘ve had pets as long as I can remember. I have a cat and a dog who love to play! My family bred cats growing up, so I have dealt with MANY different situations and know the proper responses in emergency situations. I have experience training, walking, socializing, and showing dogs and cats. I love pets and would be thrilled to take care of your furry friend. Spending time with pets brings me joy. I know each pet has a unique personality, and love learning and adapting to each one’s! I look forward to meeting your precious pet and taking care of it as if it were my own. Thanks for checking out my profile! I’m a stay-at-home mom to a toddler, so my schedule is fairly flexible! Whether it’s an early morning walk or a late night check-in, I’m here to help care for your pets. I have a cat and a dog at home, both of whom are high energy. I love to play tug and fetch and use wand toys to entertain, but am just as comfortable giving snuggles or taking your furry friends on a walk.
About: I was a treatment tech and took care of cats and dogs of all ages . All fur babies deserve love, patience, and to be spoiled. I’m currently home all day, everyday, so my availability is open. I love taking care of animals and would love to take care of yours. I live on acreage and have an open floor plan home. My two dogs love other animals, walks around the property, swimming, and lazy couch naps.
About: I have grown up with animals my entire life. My first pet was a stray cat I named Smokey when I was 3 years old. We rescued my first dog, Lucky, from the pound for my fourth Christmas. I was gifted my first chocolate lab, Wesson, for my 6th birthday. I rescued a litter of kittens who’s mom got ran over by a car when I was 10. I still have two of those cats to this day - Prince and Tiggy (14 years old, happy, and spoiled rotten). When I went off to college I adopted my soul dog, a black lab I named Enzo, from the Humane Society. Unfortunately, he passed away in November of last year. The point is, I’m a genuine animal lover who will treat your pets like my own - because that’s what they’ll be in my care. Nothing brings me more joy than a dog licking my face or a cat rubbing against my leg. I promise your babies are safe with me. Not only will they be safe, they’ll be happy :) I’m currently working full time Monday through Friday 8-5. I can walk dogs, check on pets, play with them, etc. before 8 AM, during my lunch break 12-1, and after work (5 PM). I am completely open and free on Saturdays and Sundays. My apartment has a fenced in dog park right across from my apartment building that is very rarely used, but in good condition. I have two cats that I can keep locked on one side of the house if your animals prefer no company :). I am very flexible and can adjust to most needs your babies might have!
About: We provide a warm loving home for a wide variety of dog breeds! All special requests and accommodations are considered. We are friendly and easy to work with! Currently we are available most weekends. Weekday availability varies from week to week. We are homebodies that enjoy the company of animals and meeting new people. We have a dedicated spare room and large back yard. We also live in a safe secluded neighborhood where dog walks are common and enjoyed.

Every sitter has their own rhythm and routine, but most will follow the flow that keeps your dog happiest. Sitters can give meals on your dog's regular schedule, provide a comfortable place for sleep, and plenty of one-on-one attention.
Sitters may also include daily walks in the neighborhood during your dog's boarding stay. You can also request photo and message updates throughout so you can see which local landmarks or neighborhoods your dog is enjoying.
If your dog is a little shy, consider booking a one-night trial stay! This practice run can boost your and your dog’s confidence before your trip.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Petal home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Petal.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Petal sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MS ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
